Thanks for watching folks! And sorry for skipping some of the steps due to the embargoed pots. The good news is I'll actually be able to announce them sooner, which is exciting as it's a brilliant collaboration with a brand and a person I really love. Otherwise, enjoy the pour of this teapot, I can see this glaze working well on other pots of mine although I'm not sure which form to try first.
That glaze was absolutely gorgeous, the white crystals forming with the subtle green mossy colors makes very appealing to the eye, personally I think it'd look great on vases, and I would love to see some kind of gray or blue variant of your crackling glaze with dark specs if possible. Anyways and as always thank you for the video mr florian it was a beautiful work
The glaze you used on this pot is very beautiful I love the depth and complexity of the color without it being heavy or any one part standing out more than the other. You should definitely use this again. If you could figure out how to make a blue like that it would be amazing
My fav sentence in this video in reference to having to clear the inside holes of the spout was "it is wholly necessary" but in my head I switched to "holey" and that made me chuckle. Thanks for continuing to be a wonderful resource to all of us amateur potters.
A warmer tone than you usually prefer, and the depth of colour is hypnotizing and so beautiful. It also seems like the angles of the pot are sharper with this type of glaze. Lovely 🤩
As an amateur potter, I’ve followed your videos since the beginning of my journey. Watching this teapot video felt perfectly timed, as I just completed my first teapot yesterday. Your work is truly inspiring-thank you for sharing it with us.
The exquisite nature with which you seem to do EVERYTHING - your beautiful clay art, filming, voicing, editing... it's truly a sight to behold! I LOVE this channel!! Thank you 💙💙💙
I like the piece and the glaze, looks really nice with the angular shape of the body and the roundness of the spout, the glaze has a pleasant warmth and texture to it. Thank you for sharing your lovely work with us once again!
I love watching you, my parents were potters. Your videos bring back happy times in their studios. My mother threw her teapots very much like yours. What a great time we had loading & firing the kiln, the best part was the unloading & seeing what worked & didn't. I love that glaze! The depth & color are wonderful. Your form is very pleasing & functional, Bauhaus all the way. Thank you so much! This video made my day!! ❤🎉❤😊❤
The color of that glaze is wonderful. The soft natural green reminds me of moss or lichen. I love the subtle variations in color and texture depending on where the glaze pools or thins out.
I love the glaze and everything else about the pot. However, I’m just a millennial disabled US Air Force Veteran who has never tried pottery and has started to watch pottery making because of my disability I cannot work a regular job and only have an income of about $5k per year. So I spend a lot of time doing nothing but watching TH-cam and trying to find something I could do from home that is dirt cheap but so far 10 years since fracturing my spine and still nothing. But watching your videos are so fascinating and I just love the way you explain and show what you’re doing and how you did it. Thank you from across the pond. 👋
this glaze is beautiful! i love the way the crackling makes it sparkle. and seeing the form under it really looks amazing. it does the corners and flat planes justice i think.
it's fascinating to watch you make this teapot. i think it's always interesting to watch someone who is extremely proficient, work on something that they don't have the utmost confidence in. obviously the end result was beautiful but it was interesting to see three spouts thrown just in case, especially compared to how florian usually throws down beautiful pieces seemingly without breaking a sweat. also i love the way that glaze turned out it's so pretty!
I absolutely LOVE this glaze Florian!! I especially love the red band under the lid in contrast with the beautiful olive green color. This is beautiful ❤
I love watching you seemingly effortlessly turn "fancy mud" into wonderful pieces of art. It's extremely impressive how you put such care and attention into this extremely technical and demanding yet practical artform. Also new glaze is a good one - nice warm mossy green where it's thick, yet echoing back to the more subtle tones of some of your other crackle-glazes where it's a little lighter such as around the spout - super nice!
I absolutely love that new glaze, and the way the edges of the clay shine through. Moss green is my favorite color and it's not used nearly enough, I think it's actually kind of a rare color nowadays. I own a teacup from Zero Japan and its green glaze has more blue in it. I definitely prefer it more towards bronze-brown.
It's a beautiful little t.pot, the glaze clings to every angle on the surface, the glaze on the lid, when the light catches it is stunning , and the pour test is perfect. I hope you will use this glaze again, it's shades different and it will look good on shapes you've already made and shapes and designs you will draw and discover in the future. I've enjoyed this video, being an avid tea drinker, I watch with interest and the idea of me making another t.pot myself, something I've not done since before covid, this has inspired me. Thankyou 😊
i really appreciate the explanations for each step. i always love knowing the reason something is happening. p.s. that glaze is gorgeous! i could stare at it for ages
I'm not normally one for warm greens, but the nuances and bands of color on this piece make it so absolutely stunning that this is a total exception! This and that spangled reddish black you've experimented with recently are my two favorites of all the glazes I've seen you use.
Your art, and the way you approach your craftsmanship is truly amazing and inspiring. Thank you for your art. Seeing a videos of yours every Shunday keeps me inspired. New Glaze is amazing as well.✌
What a beautiful little teapot! To me it seems perfect! Oh, and I really love the glaze - the way light shines through it and reflects of the different little crystals and fine crackles is quite magical 😊
Love that glaze, it looks really beautiful (even if my phone screen is far too small to truly appreciate it). Also super cool to see you shrink a form you've made previously like this. As always, I'm completely awed by the ease and speed with which you throw and trim complex shapes. And I'm definitely curious about that secret project!
That is a lovely glaze. The crackling and visual texture of it are very eye-catching. I loved making tiny tea pots in college. I may need to revisit that soon. Great video 👍
I found your channel this week and I've been watching a lot of your videos and shorts! It's been the perfect combination of relaxing and informative, and as someone who hasn't ever done pottery, you explain what you're doing so well. And the art you make is beautiful!!
This is lovely, perfect relaxing morning watch. You know, I really enjoy the "lifestyle" moments you scatter throughout, like your coffee routine or images of pets. It reminds me of Furry Little Peach's youtube channel, whose videos are kind of the inverse blend of lifestyle and tutorial.
Hi! I had this idea to make a lid (for a teapot). Make a bigger hole on top of he main lid (1/2 to 1 cm). This new bigger hole can hold another mini-lid that sits loosely. As it sits loose, air can enter to the pot preventing clogging of the water inside. The mini-lid should have a vertical shaft (again 5 to 10 mm) and you can remove it to re-fill the pot with hot water. Your videos are awesome, thanks
I love the new glaze! I hope to see it on other pieces soon. It really helps watching your pouring experiments. I haven't progressed up to teapot yet, but I am hoping to soon, Thanks!
I love the new glaze! It almost reminds me of a swamp, in a nice way. I feel like I'd be in love with it if it had deep blue or emerald green specks on its surface, but it might become too eye-catching and draw attention away from the vessel. Great video as always, though I do think it's a bit of a shame we never see you brew tea in your teapots! Much love.
Florian! I paused at 4:00 for a moment and came back to see how the clay platform formed a wide conical shape (like a dish). and thought... OHH! that would be such a cool trinket dish! You have been doing these sculptural "steps" into your pots and I think a stepped plate or bowl could be very interesting! Love your videos! Cheers!
I found you channel after watching pottery to the people and I absolutely love your videos! they are very calming and enjoyable to put on and watch or have on while I draw :>
a very lovely teapot! I oughta get a new one myself as mine does not pour beautifully and the lid is often too hot to touch when pouring. one thing I look for as a added benefit is a lid with a small "beak" that prevents it from falling out while pouring by hooking onto the lip of the pot and doesn't require you to touch it during the pour

The mossy colour of the new glaze is gorgeous!
Came to say the same. I like that it lets the clay beneath been seen
I learned a lot from your video. Love the color of the glaze and the teapot shape!
And the craquelure looks amazing with that color!
My fav sentence in this video in reference to having to clear the inside holes of the spout was "it is wholly necessary" but in my head I switched to "holey" and that made me chuckle. Thanks for continuing to be a wonderful resource to all of us amateur potters.
It’s even „holy necessary“ if you asked me… 😊
A warmer tone than you usually prefer, and the depth of colour is hypnotizing and so beautiful. It also seems like the angles of the pot are sharper with this type of glaze. Lovely 🤩

Now I know I prefer from start to finish content. Thank you for the wonderful upload.
Maybe one of my favorite glazes yet. The small intricacies that came through while accentuating the pots curves is juts beautiful.
The exquisite nature with which you seem to do EVERYTHING - your beautiful clay art, filming, voicing, editing... it's truly a sight to behold! I LOVE this channel!! Thank you 💙💙💙
That's really very, VERY kind of you to say. Thanks for taking your precious time to watch, I really appreciate it.
I like the piece and the glaze, looks really nice with the angular shape of the body and the roundness of the spout, the glaze has a pleasant warmth and texture to it. Thank you for sharing your lovely work with us once again!
the glaze is awesome, beautiful piece
That glaze is lovely, it really does have great visual depth.
"ferocity" is a great word to describe the kind of flow you are aiming for, and the new glaze is stunning.
Absolutely in love with the green color, it gives me the vibes of a small stream with loads of moss covered rocks
All your videos are an absolute treat to watch. Your narration is soothing and extremely informative.

I love how much humility you show in your videos. So encouraging. Can't wait to get back into throwing once the winter comes
That glaze is absolutely gorgeous, i love love love the colour and the crackling texture! It makes me think of stones in a river!
I love the new glaze! In the best way possible, it reminds me of a hot swamp, logs and leaves abound.
That glaze looks absolutely stunning! I love that mossy shade, and the shapes that formed in it too!

The glaze elevates the little pot so beautifully 💚 Thank you for sharing everything with us.
The glaze has astonishing depth and beauty! Every step you take seems incredibly precise and the results are incredible. Beautiful work!
Wow! There is so much joy to watch you working with clay. The design of your Teapot is inspiring.
Your technique strikes a perfect balance between machine-like precision and the warmth of a carefully handcrafted clay pot
I absolutely LOVE this glaze Florian!! I especially love the red band under the lid in contrast with the beautiful olive green color. This is beautiful ❤
That new glaze is so unbelievably gorgeous. It's a beautiful green, but almost golden in the light. Shimmering, even.
Best to date. You will make even better! Amazing work! ❤
Love that glaze... Deep, clean, green.... Thank you for that master class on a fantastic teapot!
Love the depth of color in the glaze. It makes me picture a night sky full of stars meeting a beautiful sunny glade of trees in the forest.
Everything about this piece exhudes beauty - absolutely lovely.
I like the new glaze. The color is warm. Just right for this time of year.

Outstanding work!! The glaze is great, I agree that the depth really makes it special
I love the new glaze. For some reason, it makes me want to chomp on the pot. Delicious.
Hey, thanks for sharing, Florian! A lovely half an hour spent on a lazy day off.
I love how the crystals in the glaze are almost glittering. Those add a really pretty element to make the eye follow them around the pot ✨
It's a beautiful little t.pot, the glaze clings to every angle on the surface, the glaze on the lid, when the light catches it is stunning , and the pour test is perfect. Wonderful Work and video. I really like this new glaze. It looks almost as if there are little sprinkles of gold in it. Very nice 👍
It's a gorgeous little pot, and the glaze is lovely indeed.
Yes, that glaze is fabulous! 😊
i really appreciate the explanations for each step. i always love knowing the reason something is happening.
p.s. that glaze is gorgeous! i could stare at it for ages
the green glaze is really nice - very pleasing, pretty colour
The glaze is amazing, and the transition from glaze to clay on the underside of the lid is on another level
really lovely teapot, great work! I love that new glaze, it's got some character to it.
I'm not normally one for warm greens, but the nuances and bands of color on this piece make it so absolutely stunning that this is a total exception! This and that spangled reddish black you've experimented with recently are my two favorites of all the glazes I've seen you use.

New Glaze is amazing as well.✌
LOVE the craquelure on the finished glaze
What a beautiful little teapot! To me it seems perfect! Oh, and I really love the glaze - the way light shines through it and reflects of the different little crystals and fine crackles is quite magical 😊
I'm in love with that glaze. The color, the texture...it fits perfectly with your work. I'm excited to see it on other pieces!
really like the new glaze, the white specs give it a very strong sense of depth to my eye
your art is beautiful, Florian! i am so glad you started this channel, because i love it. love and light to you, friend! 🌟

What a pleasure to watch this video! Thanks!!!
I really love this new glaze! It remind me gems like jade!

Love the detail you go into with your process!
I love that glaze so much,. The depth of it is really something to marvel at
Love the glaze! And the pot is beautiful!
What a gorgeous glaze you've made. I do hope you continue with it and that we'll be seeing it on some of your other work!
That's a beautiful glaze! And the flow od water is perfect!
This glaze is glorious!

I'd proudly use a teapot with that color and grace to it!
Absolutely love the new glaze ❤
This glaze looks freaking amazing!!!
The new glaze looks awesome. I would love one of these! Alas, I’m penniless so video will have to do.
The glaze on that pot is lovely pot. Can't wait to see the embargo pots!
Tried your handle pulling method yesterday on some of my pieces. Works a treat! Thanks for sharing!
Wow that glaze is amazing. Lovely teapot 😊
Only discovered your work recently, and this little teapot is gorgeous! I love the glaze and shape!

Gorgeous. You may have convinced me I need to try making a small teapot!
Gorgeous. I love the color and the texture of the glaze.
i do love the colour and textures of this new glaze
lovely glaze and really good pour captured really well ❤👏👏👏 the design looks lot more homely with this teapot ❤❤❤
Much love.
I really like the really toasted look of the clay on the underside rim of the lid.
The new glaze has such an earthy, homely appeal to it. I really love it, but admittedly, it’s my favourite colour, so I’m a tad biased!
what a lovely teapot and this glaze is beautifull

Thanks for the great video. Beautiful little teapot and the glaze is beautiful.
I like the deeper green of this glaze. The grinding process is more work, but it does have the upside of ensuring a perfect fit at the end.
This is a wonderfully detailed video as is usual for you! I really learn so much from you. Thank you!

Thank you Florian, what a wonderful piece
This tippot...pours like a boss!
That green glaze is awesome. I'd go nuts if I could snag a mug of it.
absolutely lovely work!
I cant believe this is just free on youtube. I always check your shop for stock but there never is :( oh well this is the nect best thing!
Gorgeous glaze!
The glaze is stunning😍
Beautiful glaze, I like the crackle and the translucency of it
