For shadow file, I'm always getting some sort of error when I'm using then, or tried to create them. Don't know what is the point when software crashes at 4K videos...but sometimes...even on my computer (RAM: 8 GB DDR3, Disk space: 1 TB, CPU: Intel i7, Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M) I'm having problems even with 1080p videos. Do not know if this happens with premiere because I don't have a knowledge or money to buy such expensive product...so I stay loyal to PowerDirector. Btw...great video..I just needed to watch video which describes you all tricks and tips which was "hidden" from me. Nice narration too. You got like from me definitely, I'm already subscribed to your channel.

I've been using PD 20 premium subscription and I got the upgrade from Cyberlink I assumed it was for the library, but I'm only on Android, but wanted to know if there is another add-on I could get for PD 20 and get more features like 365? 365 is for PC use only I believe, right? Thanks again for sharing the always amazing videos. I just noticed you used the audio voice over tool in this video yourself. Nice!

thanks for the videos. I have a Mac book pro and I don't have the same drop down when I click on the edit tab. I don't have the drop down for hotkeys. am I doing something wrong or is that not available to IOS?

Great tips! but how to turn off the shadow file (temporarily), if you want to color grade and edit the footage? for real editing and side by side comparison, i would like to use the 4K scene. So using shadowfiles is great in general, but you need to be able to turn on / off quickly where needed.
Hi there, you may temporarily disable the Shadow File option in PowerDirector 365 Preferences->General Settings page.

I have Dell computer for editing, but whenever I add fade in or transition, it starts to freeze. I had I-7 and I-9 core and it still freezes the frame. What is your recommendation for PC for editing for TH-cam. Thx u

What type of computer is recommended to not require shadow files?
I have a Ryzen 3900X, 64GB DDR4, a Vega 64 and a GTX 970 and I find the playback within Power Director very laggy, even with shadow files enabled at 1280x720 after I have enhanced with ColorDirector.
It depends on the bitrate and resolution of the source video, the project complexity, the effects applied on the timeline, etc. All these factors will affect the video editing performance. Enabling shadow files can help you to have a smoother video editing experience. The produced video uses the source video so you don't need to worry about the produced video quality.

Hello, silly question, but I just bought a Zoom F2 audio recorder with 32 bit float. Someone said the video editing software has to be compatible with 32 bit float. Is PowerDirector?!?! I hope so :)
