Super useful. Riot Games Client makes it really difficult to get rid of. It also prevented me from uninstalling League and Valorant until I had it fully exited out of. Really silly. Cleaned up entire PC just to get rid of League and Valorant. This is some sloppy work by Riot if it isn't malicious to make it this difficult to get rid of their sofware. Hell, just look at Vanguard and how deep it embeds itself.

For anyone who is still having trouble with it not letting you delete/uninstall the riot games client, vanguard client, and whatever games you have for it… go to task manager and end the riot games client running in the back ground then delete everything. That worked for me because I tried literally every thing else before I did that. Should work for anyone having the same trouble I did.

WAIT I FIGURED IT OUT. For some people this doesn’t work. What you have to do is go into valorant and go to settings. Once there change start when pc is booted to off. Restart your pc and then do this tutorial.

Installing itself in multiple locations and no uninstall option makes it a very malicious program. Before finding your video, I was beginning to believe I downloaded the wrong installer. Every time I deleted the program I would reset my system and the shortcut and Hidden Icons would always just have Riot PUNCHING me in the face for trying to delete them. I had the same issue, then I looked at my home bar, look at the little arrow pointing up on the bar, you might see a riot games program, press exit, boom.

Just type "msconfig" in windows search bar, navigate to "start" or "star up settings" (it should be something like that or similar) and the tick the safe boot. The just restart your computer, delete riot files and it should fix everything

TYSM. with the help you,I managed to delete it fully and I have 254 GB storage now Also You Need Process Hacker 2 To do this (Maybe) becasue the riot cilent has a software called "RiotCilentCrash" something like that since that was working you cant delete the files and so,with process hacker you can terminate the "RiotCilentChrashHandler" And so you can delete every file Hope it helped

You need to open your computer in safe mode and do everything what this video says after that
