To be honest, Twilight Princess isn't as unique and innovative as the rest of the 3D Zelda games. However! That doesn't stop it from being in my top 3 list along with MM and SS.
I think a lot of people dont appreciate Ocarina of Time because they didnt experience the release. It was well before its time and made me fall in love with the series, i have played all but Skyward Sword and the newest one. But the first time i played this emotional story line, that keeps you enthralled with the lore, I couldnt put it down as a child. But it was just experiencing that jump first hand after playing games like Echo on the Sega (ya i know, awful), it was an incredible game that essentially made me a gamer. And as a side note, if Nintendo came out with an updated Majora's Mask, i would kill for the console and that game. Literally kill to get it if that was the only way available to me. THAT is how passionate of a fan Ocarina of Time made me, of course there are other releases in the series that make it that good. Lol i was done and was writing this as the music cut and then the Windwaker music started. Bravo xD
I agree with what Logan said about Skyward Sword. I mean yes it has it's flaws but that doesn't mean it can turn it into a bad experience. I've played this game and love it. Plus without skyward sword we wouldn't have the backstory of the master sword nor Ghiriham.
I think something that really would've pushed Fi's farewell even more over the edge than it already was, would be if it had made you strike the Master Sword into the pedestal for yourself. It was already an emotional moment for many fans, but if YOU had thrust it into the pedestal using the Wii remote, it would've felt even stronger than it already did.
I so whole-heartily agree with that. It definitely would have made saying goodbye to Fi more impactful. I mean we pulled the Goddess Sword out the pedestal using the Wii remote in the beginning... Why couldn't we do the same when putting it back?
In Metal Gear Solid 3, you have to hit the weapon button when The Boss tells you to kill her. Untill you press that button, Snake just sits there. I think eventually, after a minute or two, the game will do it by itself, but still.
My Top ten Favorite Zelda games: 1. Twilight Princess 2. Skyward Sword 3. Majora's Mask 4. Wind Waker 5. Ocarina of Time 6. A Link to the Past 7. Oracle of Ages & Seasons 8. A Link Between Worlds 9. The Minish Cap 10. The Legend of Zelda
+Brandon James I think I'll have to be honest here.... I've only ever played 3 Zelda Games, and I've NEVER completed any of them. Twilight Princess, Minish Cap, and Skyward Sword. WHO HATES ME?!
10. Legend of Zelda 9. Spirit Tracks 8. Majora's Mask 7. Skyword Sword 6. Twilight Princess 5. Wind Waker 4. Minish Cap 3. Link Between Worlds 2. Link to the Past 1. Ocarina of Time
I loved almost everything about that game...except for one character that did not need to be in that game, and that is no other than...Ganondorf. While I know he is supposed to be Link's arch-enemy, in Twilight Princess he was thrown into the game near the end to steal the spotlight from Zant for no reason at all. Other than his inclusion, Twilight Princess is one of my favourite Zelda games ever.
SS is my favorite 3D Zelda game, it has great character, a very nice story line, good motion controls, YES I SAID IT, and the best villain a Zelda series has seen in a long while. I also applauded Nintendo for going with a non realistic art style. The game may have a lot of tutorials, but that didn't stop me from having a blast because for the first time since Wind Waker I actually cared about these damn characters. Also the game being linear isn't a minus, it's just linear.
thank you. I honestly feel like the only person on the planet who likes SS sometimes because SOOO many people bash it like rabbidluigi, for convenient example
John David Tibbetts I agree. SS was the first 3d zelda i've ever played and i had a blast. Although i like wind waker more, skyward sword is fantastic. The temples are great, the story is pretty good, the characters are great, the graphics are stunning and the game is linear, but have some room to exploration sometimes. It have flaws, of course. Every game does. But a great game is not the one that have no flaws, it is the one that have so many good things about it that the flaws don't matter. Skyward Sword is a great game, PERIOD.
Wind Waker is pure art- the art style was a bold choice by Nintendo, mouth it made the characters and world more expressive, charming, and colorful. The bosses are phenomenal, with the Helmaroc King being the best. The plot actually made me care about the adventure I was going on, unlike how Ocarina of a Time and Majora's Mask kind of just threw you in there and said "go." The sailing was so fun, and I loved how massive the world was. And the music, god the music is spectacular, every piece is incredibly orchestrated and is so pleasing to the ear. Also, this was the first Zelda game I've ever played, so it holds a nostalgic place in my heart. Wind Waker, is not only my favorite Zelda game, but it's my favorite game of all time. Great list, your choices made total sense and were well backed up!
I'm not sure why, but Twilight Princess is my absolute favorite Zelda game. It just struck me as awesome. Yes, it has it's flaws, but overall it was the most enjoyable experience of the 3D Zelda's for me.
12:10 “It’s like Mario 64 which is a feeling it shouldn’t have.” You know that’s very ironic considering that win legend of Zelda ocarina of time was originally being put together it was going to START in Gannon‘s castle and in order to break the seals preventing you from entering the main chamber you were going to enter paintings and explore the worlds within. This was the original idea because they did not know how much memory and graphics the Nintendo 64 was going to give them. Once they figured out the specs of the consul they decided to make the game a little bigger but the work they had done was taken and utilized to make Mario 64 while they spent a little more time working on ocarina of time. So that One point that is trying to be used as a slight against skyward sword actually had the possibility of becoming a reality for ocarina of time.
Well I wouldn't say it's underrated. It's generally acknowledged and it's really great. If we're talking about underrated Zelda games I'd say Majora's Mask.
I blame this video for a hilarious reference I made. I haven't played Skyward Sword yet, bit I plan on it, and little did i know that the "explosion of my power" line would leave an impression on me. I was in class when I blew my nose on a tissue so loudly that the whole class started staring at me, including my teacher. I then squeaked nervously"Sorry about that, it was an explosion of my power..." and then the whole class burst into flames laughing. Thank you Fawful's Minion and Rabbid Luigi.
Eldin's "The volcano erupted because of an explosion of my power" explanation was a pun. If it's a Nintendo or Level 5 game, you should be expecting some punny jokes.
After playing Skyward Sword and rewatching this countdown I must say: Thanks a lot, Logan! I always see that game getting shit for some rather weak reasons. Of course, I'm not extremely bias, I see the flaws in the game and I agree with some of the complaints that Will brought up. But, every Zelda Game has similar flaws and I think Skyward Sword has the same level of quality as any other main console Zelda. And I absolutely love it!
When you can't refute a single argument I make, you should reconsider wether your opinion was really that good to begin with. Don't get me wrong, you are free to enjoy what you want. I'm just sick of people throwing the word "underrated" around whenever they like something. TP is not underrated. Not in the slightest. In fact, it's massively overrated. As long as you realize that, I don't mind if it's your favorite Zelda.
yeah Wind Waker is the best😎 #WindWaker4Life My Top 10: 10.Oracle of Seasons/Ages(?) 9.Ocarina of Time 8.Majoras Mask 7.A Link Between Worlds(?) 6.Twilight Princess 5.Skyward Sword 4.Minish Cap 3.Phantom Hourglass 2.Spirit Tracks 1.Wind Waker
My personal top ten: 10: Link's Awakening 9: Oracle of Seasons/Ages 8: Link to the Past 7: Spirit Tracks 6: Minish Cap 5: Twilight Princess 4: Link Between Worlds 3: Ocarina of Time 2: Wind Waker 1: Majora's Mask
Our top 7 has the same games, though the order is slightly different 1. Wind Waker 2. Majoras Masl 3. OoT 4. Skyward Sword 5. Spirit Tracks 6. Minish Cap 7. Link between worlds only at number 8 it changes (my number 8 is Link to the past)
I agree, but disagree. gannon didn't need to be in the game, but they could have clued to gannon somehow earlier without taking him out, or just fight with zant. either is fine, but i prefer if they kept gannon and just actually made the story a lot better to keep him. same problem as in starfox adventures.
I love hearing/seeing people with as much passion for Zelda as I have. I've played hundreds of games and few even come close to the lasting impression these games have had on me.
In MY personal opinion, these are MY favorite Zelda Games: 10. The Legend of Zelda 9. Links Awakening 8. Minish Cap 7. A Link to the Past 6. Twilight Princess 5. A Link Between Worlds 4. Ocarina Of Time 3. SkyWard Sword 2. Majora's Mask 1. Wind Waker
I agree with RabbidLuigi and FawfulsMinion On number on. At the same time they said "F*ck Yeah!", i was thinking the exact same thing. Go Wind Waker!!!
Jackson Holder Oracles of Ages and Seasons borrowed FAR TOO MUCH off of Link's Awakening. The Autarch (Albeit in his worst video ever) also refers to those two games as Link's Awakening Capcom Edition, they copied almost everything except perhaps the direct storyline items from Link's Awakening.
And majoras mask borrowed most of the assets from OoT, yet people adore it. Should we refer to MM as OoT, apocalypse edition? And it took the only obtainable items excluding the non transformation masks from oot. So answer that and then I will a knowledge your point.
I won't deny that I don't have much knowledge of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, having never played either of the pair. However, I believe that the reason that people adore both Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time is because Majora's Mask drastically changed up the way that the story works, while Ages and Seasons mostly mirror Link's Awakening's theme of eight dungeons and final boss. The dungeon themes were changed up between the two games, and also the tension of the three day time limit changes the style of the story. Whereas from my knowledge of OoT there is not too much of a time limit to the game beyond the escape segment leading to final ganon, the idea that every action one takes in Majora's Mask is relative to the time of the actual game adds a layer of tension as one works their way to. "Oh boy, I took longer than normal on this segment, will there be enough time for another sidequest or two?" Etc. Sure, there is the Song of Time in case one gets too close to destruction, but it does mean you have to learn what you're going through, not just purely explore the dungeons. My opinion on this doesn't really matter, but this is what I think people found appealing about Majora's Mask that differentiates it from Ocarina of Time.
That may be true. However, your point is that OoT ripped the gameplay right out of Link's awakening. But other games do that, such as the Oracle games ripping the 3 pendants than some other dungeons right out of a link to the past. However, I concede your point that the Oracle games are not the best in the series. They are a handheld, and they were just made to capitalize on the success of links awakening. However, that doesn't make them bad games.
my top 16: 16. Phantom Hourglass (sucks) 15. Four Swords Adventures (not too bad but not good either) 14. Oracle of Seasons (I'm not underrating it it's just i like the next ones better) 13. Four Swords (unlike other people i actually enjoyed the game it just wasn't too great...) 12. Legend of Zelda (meh...) 11. Adventure of Link (fun but frickin HARD!) 10. Spirit Tracks(MUCH better than Phantom Hourglass) 9. Oracle of Ages (better than seasons) 8. Link's Awakening (insert stuff most people say about it) 7. A Link to The Past (you guys are probably gonna kill me) 6. Skyward Sword (good game just tiring controls) 5. Ocarina of Time (you guys are REALLY gonna kill me now) 4. Twilight Princess (YES i really liked it THAT much even better than OoT) 3. Minish Cap (the absolute BEST 2-D Zelda game in my opinion of course) 2. Majora's Mask (I just couldn't of a SINGLE flaw in this game) 1. Wind Waker (it has it's flaws but it's greatness makes it like the flaws don't even exist)
16. I hear you. 15. SO... MANY... ATTACHMENTS! 14. I am more of an action kind of guy. 13. Original = Can't play at all. New = Great game that is worth getting. 12. A classic that is amazing. 11. It is the offspring of a platform game and an R.P.G. game that had plastic surgery to look like the legend of Zelda. Hard but great. 10. This game alone is the reason that I LIKE TRAINS. 9. Good, but doesn't beat its brother. 8. The story of this game should be made into a MOVIE! (Not with Link as the hero (That is asking for it to suck)) 7. My first Zelda game. AND AN AWESOME ONE AT THAT. 6. I happen to have enjoyed this game. 5. Now you having this game this low is asking to get killed (Not by me (This game should be higher, but not highest)) 4. Did you like having items that you rarely use? Other than that I understand you. 3. This game is definitely a fun and awesome game. 2. I can't ether, and I hope I never do. 1. I can't get enough of this masterpiece! IT'S TOO AWESOME! If possible, I would like to know where you think "a Link Between Worlds" should go in this list.
shadowliam7 I don't even think oot is overrated anymore, the sudden shit everyone's giving it kinda makes it underrated, its my 3rd favourite game in the series
Stopped watching after you said you didn't like Midna....I know you can't please everyone and those are your opinions....but wow, Midna's one of my favorite characters in the whole series
my top 17 Zelda games 17-1 (note: NO CDI GAMES!!!!) 17:phantom hourglass(easy as shit) 16:four swords adventure(not my style) 15:four swords(too short) 14:zelda 2(WAY too difficult) 13:oracle of ages(kinda meh.) 12:oracle of seasons(same here) 11:spirit tracks(not as easy as PH, but still...) 10:Zelda(nonlinear is awesome) 9:twilight princess(couldn't see; midna's a bitch) 8:links awakening(good, but not great) 7:link to the past(long, but easy) 6:link between worlds(long and unique. I like) 5:minish cap(excellent handheld) 4:majora's mask(amazing art) 3:ocarina of time(this is a good game) 2:wind waker(wow. just wow) 1:skyward sword(remember guys; this is a good game!) hate me? well, my opinion is mine, your opinion is yours. simple as that.
Wind waker has been my favorite ever since i started playing zelda. It was the first zelda game i played and one of the first ever games i played. To this day it is still my favorite game of all time. There are literally no words to describe how much i love it.
Skyward sword is my all time favorite zelda game. At first for a while, my favorite was ocerina of time. But I recently beat skyward sword and hyrule warriors. I loved hyrule warriors and it would be my favorite if it was considered a canon zelda game. But I say skyward sword is my favorite. And before you all start criticizing me about how dumb I am and how im not a real zelda fan, Im gonna explain. I honestly dont know why SS gets so much shit from zelda fans. Its probably the best in the series! It has everything that a zelda game needs and more! Great origin story, fun gameplay, awesome bosses, complicated puzzles, and fun items. Whats not to like about this game. I mean, sure, they do stop you a lot to explain what's going on in the story, but how else were you going to figure it out? Fi is better than midna and Ms. HELLO? LITSEN! Well, lol, I kinda like Navi's voice, its iconic. Look, bottom line, skyward sword is an amazing game! So good that fans started to hate on it so they could never accept that its better than the classics. Like minion said, skyward sword is different and its proud of it. And im proud to have this amazing game as my favorite game of all time.
EXACTLY! EXACTLY! SS is like, my most overhated (and tied for my favorite) game of all time. ppl bash this game for being linear, but they don't acknowledge for every bad design choice comes a good one; there are now more puzzles out side the main dungeons AND there are the trips into the silent realm which are very tense. as for the padding, at least the game does new stuff lanaryu desert has you go through a new area, eldin volcano has you get your stuff back, and faron woods has you collect pieces of a song (which is actually good b/c the swimming controls work well and it's only hard on hero mode)
***** I'm Sorry that you feel that way but I just don't feel the same way. And if that makes me a fanboy. Then I'm a fanboy. I'm not going to persuade you to like a game you clearly don't like. Because I have my opinion and you have yours. I personally think this is the best game ever but that's just me. What's your favorite Zelda game? I would love to hear it. Not to call you a fanboy if I dissagree like you did but just to see what your taste is.
***** ok, I think I'll give it a go but there really is no point. I'm going to start with my favorite aspects of this game. The way it looks, and the music. Skyloft is alive and and even thought the shy is empty, it is still jawdroping with how awesome it looks. The envorinments do look a little weak but they do have creativity. Sort of. OK, Nothing else really catches my eye in terms of looks but the music is amazing. The opining theme is awesome sounding similar to previous Zelda titles but yet, still has somthing new for us to enjoy. Fi's Gratitude is one of my favorite tracks in Zelda history. Problably after song of storms in my top ten but awesome nonetheless. The gameplay, despite what everyone says, is very well done and i never had a problem with the motion controls. Are motions controls the way zelda should always play? Hell no! But here, it works fine. The puzzles were fun and very challenging, i loved the past-future aspect of the pirate ship. The items, while not being the best, are still fun and work Well with the Wii mote. The beetle item was creative and fun to use! And it helped solve some creative puzzles. This game gives us what we've been asking for for a while. An origin story. This explains the creation of the triforce, master sword, and the bond between gannon, link, and Zelda. This trys somthing new for us to experence. Like riding a bird instead of a horse. And fight demise instead of gannon. Overall, I think everyone hates on this game because they compare it to the others way too much. If this was the first in the series then everone would drool over how good it is. But it's not the first. So you guys compare it to the older games and find no enjoyment out of this one. I am willing to bet a million $ that if this was a stand alone game, the first in the Zelda series or even the second, then people would regard it as awesome. There, I gave it my best shot. Now, you're problably gonna dismiss my points and continue to compare this game to twilight princess. But that's OK. Because at the end of the day, I love this game and that's all that matters to me.
Ocarina of Time is my personal all time favorite but WindWaker is a VERY close second. Just the sense of adventure in that game is awe inspiring and the cel shading just adds another layer of beauty to it.
AT #1... man you guys put such a HUGE smile on my face that i can only say this: THANK YOU SO FRIGGIN MUCH. I've always felt Wind Waker never got the praise it deserved, as it was the game that marked my childhood, and i even still have the Gamecube version of it, and play it to this day. It's the only game that ever makes me feel nostalgic (due to being born in the very late 90's), and I mean ONLY. Never before has a game meant so much to me. So again, Rabbid, Minion, i thank you two IMMENSELY for putting Wind Waker as #1. From a fellow Zelda fan and rookie youtuber, thanks.
***** I have a conflict with my 5th 6th and 7th favourite, I decided on my top 4 pretty well. But I can't choose between minish cap, link between worlds and (you won't believe it) spirit track (very underrated imo, never understood the hate)
***** lol, yeah the only ones not to like are the ones we don't speak of. But I hope you enjoy majoras mask, I'm curios as to what someone who hasn't played the original will think of the remake
It's kind of like a cycle really. When Majora's Mask came out everyone said it sucked and wasn't as good as Ocarina of Time. When Wind Waker came out everyone thought it was stupid and not as good as Majora's Mask. When Twilight Princess came out everyone said Wind Waker was amazing and Twilight Princess was bad. Now that Skyward Sword has came out many people think Twilight Princess is miles better. I bet when Zelda for Wii U comes out there will be a big battle between Zelda Wii U fans and Skyward Sword fans.
Say what you want about LoZ stories, Professor Layton's stories still reign supreme to me. I nearly cried my EYES out after finishing Unwound Future. And I also got depressed after Randall's death in Miracle Mask. And they told me it was coming! I love you, Level 5. Love you so much.
Thnx for all the Wind Waker love. That has always been my all-time favorite Zelda game, and so many people seem to hate it. For the life of me, I can't understand the hate it gets, be it for the sailing (said to be tedious and boring), the general lack of "innovation" (you don't do a lot of new stuff apparently) or, god forbid, the fantastic art style (tech demo in 2000 probably caused the hate). It deserves all the high praise you gave it. It truly is a masterpiece of unparalleled quality. My only complaint that I could EVER give that game is the boss of the Earth Temple. The Earth Temple is amazing, it's kind of an escort mission, but your companion isn't just dead weight, Medli has the light-reflecting harp and can fly and all that, but after you get the mirror shield, you have TWO things to reflect light with, leading to some FANTASTIC puzzles. After an amazingly designed, atmospheric as f*** and downright FUN dungeon, you're given a giant, fat poe. Really? My last thing to mention is a little easter egg that probably has nothing to do with the game, but if you go into the Gamecube startup menu and look at the system configuration screen, the little cubes turn into a sailboat. After looking at that, angels came down and sang "go buy Wind Waker, you'll love it", then they left. But I knew it was true-angels don't lie. I bought it that very same hour, played it and actually started thinking about the world in a different way. Sleep? Didn't need it, that was for weaklings (I took 15-minute naps, like Galileo). Food? Not important till I discovered the next dungeon entrance (I even ate while playing). High School? Well, I couldn't ignore that, but it seemed like a bigger waste of time than ever before (teach me tricks and secrets, not math!). Wind Waker, thy name is "FLAWLESS"...
I think of the Link from Wind waker as being the best, seeing as how even as a kid, HE FREAKING KILLED GANANDORF! Well, maybe not killed, but sealed away forever. Ganon has been defeated and reincarnated multiple times through out the Multiple timelines in the Zelda franchise, except one. When Wind Waker link defeated Ganon, he ;eft the Master sword IN him, which means that he can't be reawakened. Why? Because only the legendary hero can pull out the Master Sword!(plus he's at the bottom of the ocean). This shows, that even as a kid, Wind waker Link did something none of the other adult or young Links could do.
Really well explained reasons for your picks guys. My choices were definitely different, but I respect both of you for what you chose. Here is my Top 10 Zelda Games. Not including recent releases. 10. The Minish Cap 09. The Legend of Zelda 08. Oracle of Ages & Seasons 07. Link's Awakening 06. The Wind Waker 05. Skyward Sword 04. Ocarina of Time 03. Majora's Mask 02. Twilight Princess 01. A Link to the Past
I think it's valid (jst my opinion) the extreme darkness kind of messed up my enjoyment of TP since it WAS hard to see. But SS interrupted gameplay with information, sadly I feel like SS had better character personalities. Note: I like both games
Technically speaking, guys, link is an adult in a kid's body in MM because it's the OOT link, so not a child, nor teen, but an adult, because zelda logic.
Best zelda top ten ever! I'm subscribing to both of you guys right now. My favorite game(s) is ocarina of time and majoras mask together. Both are fantastic games in order on the timeline. It revolutionized gaming and has made the n64 my favorite system( even though I don't even have one. When I was little I was first introduced to link when I played super smash bros brawl. I never, EVER, would have thought I would become the zelda fan I am now. Skip a few years... I got a wii u on Christmas morning 2013-14. I was so hyped for the system and I still love it to this day. I had most of the games for the system by the next easter. This is where it begun. I got the windwaker hd easter morning 2014. It took me a while to beat it because i wasn't really used to the series, but I loved it. Then I got a 2ds just to play ocarina of time 3d. My jaw dropped when I finished it! I can't even come up with words to define how amazing that game was! Sadly, I played a bit too much. I started to get orthopedic issues in my neck from looking down on my 2ds. I decided to sell it (including oot3d, because I bought it on the eshop), but now I am currently playing oot for the second time, but on the virtual console, the original legend of Zelda from the eshop, and majoras mask for the first time ever on the virtual console as well. This Christmas, I hope to get twilight princess and skyward sword for the wii. I have also finished windwaker hd twice. The legend of Zelda is truly a magical, mezmerizing, and without a dought the best nintendo, no, the best action adventure series known to a lot of people! (Don't get mad! I do like final fantasy a lot as well and am currently playing the 7th one on my PS3.) the series has gotten me through a lot of tough times and I know that it still will. This has literally changed my life, again I simply can't form words to describe how much I love this series. Thank you for making this video. To all zelda fans everywhere, don't stop playing the series we love. Like this post if you love the zelda series, or final fantasy.
11:14 "Huh. Didn't know that sword came with a Microsoft Office assistant. You'd think after a quarter century of questing and some twelve reincarnations they'd give the kid an option to turn that off." XD
My Top 5 3D Zelda games: (best to worst) ((worst isn't worst I like em' all)) 1). Twilight Princess 2). Skyward Sword 3). Ocarina of Time 4). Wind Waker 5). Majora's Mask
My personal 3D Zelda rankings 5. Twilight Princess, the easiest 3D Zelda game, i never once died while playing this game, the story made little since and seemed to backtrack on itself, the bosses were way to easy (though they all looked cool, and twilite fossil was a blast), most items were underutilized severely, not just spinner. the score was average for Zelda standers, which are pretty high, the rest of the characters are pretty boring and forgettable, and the pacing is awful that said the dungeons were all great, Midna is a dynamic character, it can be eerie at times, and wolf link is cool, pity his segments are so repetative 4. Majora's Mask. Very simple reasoning, i cant handle N64 level graphics, so many emotional moments are ruined because they exceed the consoles capabilities, the fact that the game can be very short also looses points, i can handle low dungeon counts (MC), but just 4, come on 3. Ocarina of Time 3D, joining the likes of the Dark Knight and the Lion King in stuff that's supremely overatted but still very good. I love the dungeon's, many bosses, centralized large overworld, simple but epic story, iconic moments, well used items, etc, i do think the skulltula rewards were lame after all, and the ocarina was tedious to use 2. Skyward Sword, i never had a problem with the motion controls, sword play and all, i love the story, the villain, the dungeons, the bosses, the items (Beetle is awesome), the atmosphere, the music, the fact that it is actually a challenge like seriously you actually loose life easily in this game, the upgrade item systems, just so much love for this game My only major complaints are that he free fall controlls are hard to figure out, and Fi, while a great idea, is not utilized to the full potential 1. Windwaker/HD Just everything. The music is the best in the series for me, the cel shading style has caused it to age like a mountain, it still is the best looking Zelda game, and it lends itself to Hero of Wind having far more personality then any of his surrounding links, the combat is fluent, the world is huge, the exploration aspect is through the roof, teh story combines the complexity of SS and the epicness of OoT for the best story in the series, Red Lion is my favorite companion with the best departure.
Skyward sword really made me feel like a hero that should help the people that inhabit this world, and revive it from being so... forgotten. That's why I liked it, I really felt like helping these people was REALLY important. that sort of care you feel can entertain me very much.
You guys are great at what you do, I personally don't like the Zelda franchise, and yet I was still captivated by your guys's brilliant commentary, thank you for making these things.
Let's break you'r argument shall we? SS was my first Zelda.. no experience with the series, nothing expected out of it.. it bothered me to no end. The padding, the hand holding, etc... Then i played TP.. miles superior. Then i played OoT.. great. I played MM superb. I played WW brilliant. Then went back to SS and i didn't even got past the 3rd dungeon. Also.. each game is different to each other, hell WW is the pinnacle of that and that didn't stop it from being excellent. That "i'm different and yadda yadda" is bullshit. Prime is different, Galaxy is different.. bullshit. So, where's your god now?
***** Meh i don't give a fuck if i get hate.. i use logic not sentimentalism nor i am subjective. Hell.. bring on the hate so i can address anyone who thinks this is a good zelda game.
whoever12341 "nor i am subjective." That's…pretty much impossible. To some extent we ALL are subjective. the same way there's not an absolute truth, the same way there's not an absolute objectivity. Besides, while you have a point in saying Logan's argument is a fallacy, because in fact it fucking is and the game IS flawed, yours can be boiled down to "I fucking hated it, your argument is invalid", so don't put on a high horse either.
VladNorris Let me rephrase for people that don't get the point unless you're extremely literal: I'm not super subjective when it comes to judging it, i don' base of the facts and arguments i try to deliver entirely off of preference. Like the dude does.. he likes it, he defends it for that and ignores the bad things about it. I don't hate the game, i just don't like it as a Zelda game. I try to stay as objective as my humanity allows me to is what i´m trying to convey.
whoever12341 THAT is a heal lot better way to put it(considering the people wandering around the internet, it wouldn't surprise me you meant the literal meaning). Anyways, yeah. These two videos were funny, but looking down at them, they had some BS PoV here and there
fawful's arguement to why skyward sword is underated is corny, overly sentimental, and doesnt really back up the arguement he is trying to make and is in fact pretty emotionally manipulative as also shown in fact about how rabbid luigi starts crying in the video
Well lets see I hate the sailing. Takes forever, and you have to do the song every time you want to go somewhere different. I find that it is hard to control on the analog stick. Also I hate how easy the game is not counting the like 2 hours i spent sailing I cleared the first 3 dungeons in three hours. I haven't been challenged by a puzzle yet. The boss fights are so dumb ed down it fucking hurts. Took me 35 seconds to beat the first boss. Furthermore a talking boat shows up , and doesnt explain how he is alive. It literally started the zelda trend of use this item once ,and then never again. Fuck the graphics (thats a personal opinion though). The game also babies you so much it tells you how to beat every enemy ,and where to go at all times. There is no mystery. I havent felt an urge to explore the ocean because it takes so long to get anywhere.
STORMWHITEpro You can get a faster sail, and you can teleport, AND can use the gamepad in the WiiU version. The game IS on the easy side, but Just play Hero Mode where you take more damage and link is in his PJs. Use It once? Many sideQuests and the places of the triforce shards in the HD version make you use the items again, and Ocarina of time started that trend. Graphics. GRAPHICS!??!?! KSEJFPOISHGOSIGHS{OIHGSHGOHISGHSDHGHI{OSHGHGHSHIO{GSHOSOHI IT NEVER MATTERS WHAT A GAME LOOKS LIKE KJGSPJHHOISGO{IHGDSOHKSGHOIPOHISGOHIPSGHOIDHSGHOIPGHIOGHIOPHDISGHIOPDSIOGHOIDGHI You know Ocarina of time told you how to beat every enemy 2 right.? and at least this game didn't have Na-Hay! Liste-vi No Mystery? THE KING OF HYRULE IS THE BOAT AND TETRA IS ZELDA !!!!!!!!!(Until the internet spread it like Wildfire) JUST GET THE SWIFT SAIL IN THE HD VERSION AND STILL, YOU CAN TELEPORT!!!!!!!!!
Wind Waker got first place......SERIOUSLY ?????????????? What the heck is wrong with you guys? Wind Waker is a joke compared to the other 3D titles. The only aspect of this game I found to be outstanding was Ganondorf, the atmosphere of the final battle and the ending. I could relate to Ganondorf in this game and sweet jesus the ocean closing up above your head while fighting the insane ganondorf was just awesome. But other than that it was just a tedious game. Sailing is most boring thing ever to happen to the Zelda series and the worst part of it is that the dragging sailing segments are not even rewarding. You'D expect that there should be more variety to the islands of this game but no. There are just about 6 Islands that really stand out and the rest of them are just boring. This is the only Zelda game where I just couldn't be bothered doing a 100% run. Wind Waker HD just made me dislike this game even more. Why did they have to graphically remake the only console zelda game that still looks good today ????? They should have done that to twilight princess, it looks like shit on a flatscreen.
I guess you are right... well I already stated why I don't like Wind Waker as much. It's a really difficult question what would be first place. For me it would be either Majoras Mask or Skyward Sword. Both of these games have built arguably the best cities in Zelda history. Clock Town is just filled to the brim with sidequests and lots of interesting characters. Skyloft comes close to that but it has less sidequests. Skyward Sword tells in my opinion the best classic Zelda Story ( Hero has to save princess ). The cinematics are just amazing in this game and you have much more of an urge to save Zelda than to save Aryl in wind waker, because you just want to see both Link and Zelda being happy together. Majoras Mask on the other hand does a really good job at building a tense and yet very subtle creepy atmosphere and the new villain feels very fresh and it's something the Zelda series should attempt more often.
Yeah it was, but it is nowhere near as good as most other titles in the series. And the fact that this game got an HD remake is just aggravating beyond belief. Why remake the only game of the franchise that will graphically never look bad. Twilight princess really needs something like that because 1. the game looks like shit when playing on a flatscreen and 2. You wouldn't need to use those stupid wiimote controls, the game would benefit much more from that than Wind Waker. And I know this game can be played with a gamecube controller which is awesome but the if the 16:9 wii version of twilight princess looks bad on a flatscreen then be prepared to get eye cancer after playing the gamecube version on one
Well, this is an opinion orientated list. So whatever yours is than that's yours, but if you ask me, Wind Waker is tied with Majora's Mask as the best Zelda game ever.Every other game on this list was great for what they are, but they dont even fucking TOUCH!!! MM and WW. Every other Link in the and Zelda in this series including the charcters in MM(Except for Anju and Kafei those I love those two.), are just boring as hell characters that I honestly couldn't give a shit about(Even the Zelda in SS).WW just has a lot more "flow" to it then just about every other game in the series. While legend of Zelda is no where near my favorite franchise, MM and WW are what really made me even care for this franchise, and are the reason why I still play Zelda today.
Seriously the most characters in WW are only awesome because they have funny personalities, like salvadore and such. But in Skyward Sword we have groose, who is hands down the best side character ever in a Zelda game. He starts out as a stupid bully but develops into somewhat of a hero and becomes a friend to link.
Twilight Princess will probably always be one of my top favorite Zelda games. I'm not sure what it is about the game, but I absolutely love it. Even more so then Ocarina of Time. Great list, it's always interesting hearing other's opinions of games.
I agree about the "Yhea, I'm different, but I'm damn proud of it" part. Even though I don't think Skyward Sword is as different as everyone else, and it is my favorite videogame of all time, thank you for saying that. That was awesome and I hope others can agree.
rabbid: what happens when you catch a bug? the game tells you you caught a bug" that's what every zelda game does when you get an item, i don't see a problem in that area
oh my LORD! finaly two great gamers that realize that no legend of zelda game is greater than the almighty windwaker and too that i think you two! But for real in all my years of gaming it's my favorite hands down because most of they said but also because it was a game i could relate too growing up as a lonley middle child. And dont get me wrong i do respect the classic's but with windwaker it did everything perfectly and that's why i love it so much!!!!
This is what made me a fan of these guys, you boldly defended Skyward Sword with all your fame and pride. SS is one of my if not THE favorite Zelda game in my personal. How you portrayed over expectation being the ultimate game killer is completely correct. Good Job, you two good job. also.... THANK YOU FOR DEFENDING FI!! Favorite Zelda navigational character.
I know I started playing Zelda in 2011 or 2010 can't remember, but I still love every single game whether i've played them or watched a Let's Play of it and the reason I didn't get to play most of them is because I was born in 2000 and by that time Nintendo already had a bunch of them out already, but I didn't even know what video game was so I couldn't play them but now I have at least 5 Zelda games of my own (SS, TP, OoT 3D, ALBW and PH) and i've watched someone else playthrough the others. I'm confident that I can answer any question on the Zelda series (except for ALTTP I haven't gotten to that one yet) and most likely answer it correctly, that's just how much of a liking i've taken to this series.
Out of all the zelda lists i've seen, this one is my favourite. They go into great depth, and get into great conversations. Also wind waker is at the top, YAY!!!
I personally don't find OoT that fun to play compared to others in the s, but my love for the game comes from the sheer epicness of it and the world of the game
I actually think, that Midna was intended to be exactly like that :D She seems to be quite selfish and cold at first, but the latest Moment you start liking her is, when Zant almost kills her and when Zelda sacrifices herself to save Midna. Both Midna and Zant are imho two of the best characters in the whole Zelda series in Terms of personality.
Top 5 Cause I am too lazy for top 17: 5. Ocarina of Time (Purely because it started the 3d Zelda game theme in a good way) 4. Majora's Mask (Love the concept of having 3 days and love the plot) 3. Skyward Sword (Great art style and actually had a point in saving Zelda -_-) 2. Link Between Worlds (Very long and engaging, loved the revamp of the old classic) 1. Twilight Princess (Plot is amazing, dungeons are incredible designed, and stop complaining that you can't see. I frankly could see perfectly the whole time, and if that is what you think is wrong with the game and that is why it is so low, I don't know what to say to you... I also loved Zant. His personality changed throughout the story, allowing the gamer to wonder what will happen next.)
GD MarioT3 you... i like you... we think alike come with me and together we will conquer the world to show them how twilight princess is the best zelda game!
I played windwaker as a 7 year old...My copy of it is long lost now, but it was the game that motivated me to get into the series. Damn i can't wait for the remake.
Now you‘ve done it, Jackass.

Ghirahim
I love how he's complaining about what people say about Skyward Sword when he did the exact same thing to TP a couple minutes beforehand.
To be honest, Twilight Princess isn't as unique and innovative as the rest of the 3D Zelda games. However! That doesn't stop it from being in my top 3 list along with MM and SS.
Tp is one of the best Zelda games and personal is really close to majora’s mask witch is my favorite game ever
15:13 now you've done it, Jackass.

And the hd remake fixes pretty much every control hiccup i had with the original
My Top ten Favorite Zelda games:
1. Twilight Princess
2. Skyward Sword
3. Majora's Mask
4. Wind Waker
5. Ocarina of Time
6. A Link to the Past
7. Oracle of Ages & Seasons
8. A Link Between Worlds
9. The Minish Cap
10. The Legend of Zelda
+Brandon James I think I'll have to be honest here....
I've only ever played 3 Zelda Games, and I've NEVER completed any of them. Twilight Princess, Minish Cap, and Skyward Sword.
WHO HATES ME?!
+The Amazing Anon finish TP. It's awesome!! ;P
The only one's I've played are Minish Cap, LBW, Hyrule Warriors (that doesn't really count) and a tiny bit of TP, which I hated.
Hey! U stole my list! haha
I recently got Hyrule Warriors, and I have to say... BEST IN THE FRANCHISE!
10. Legend of Zelda
9. Spirit Tracks
8. Majora's Mask
7. Skyword Sword
6. Twilight Princess
5. Wind Waker
4. Minish Cap
3. Link Between Worlds
2. Link to the Past
I'm in the same unfortunately same boat as you, dude. Skyward Sword is my favorite Zelda game as well as one of my favorite games of all time.
thank you. I honestly feel like the only person on the planet who likes SS sometimes because SOOO many people bash it
like rabbidluigi, for convenient example
John David Tibbetts I agree. SS was the first 3d zelda i've ever played and i had a blast. Although i like wind waker more, skyward sword is fantastic. The temples are great, the story is pretty good, the characters are great, the graphics are stunning and the game is linear, but have some room to exploration sometimes. It have flaws, of course. Every game does. But a great game is not the one that have no flaws, it is the one that have so many good things about it that the flaws don't matter. Skyward Sword is a great game, PERIOD.
sonic the zelda fan hell yea it is
Wind Waker is pure art- the art style was a bold choice by Nintendo, mouth it made the characters and world more expressive, charming, and colorful.
Me too! but I've only played that one because I had OOT on Virtual Console but I'm SICK OF THAT GAME!
I totaly agree that it's the best 3d zelda game. Mostly because it was the first 3d zelda game I ever played and back then it blew me away!
12:10 “It’s like Mario 64 which is a feeling it shouldn’t have.”
You know that’s very ironic considering that win legend of Zelda ocarina of time was originally being put together it was going to START in Gannon‘s castle and in order to break the seals preventing you from entering the main chamber you were going to enter paintings and explore the worlds within.
Well, I'm happy that oot turned out the way it did and not link Super Mario 64. Even though that wouldn't necessarily have been bad.
Well I wouldn't say it's underrated. It's generally acknowledged and it's really great. If we're talking about underrated Zelda games I'd say Majora's Mask.
This is one of the best lists I have ever seen
"I'm different and damn proud of it."
Then Breath of the Wild came out and made SS look like a poser.
Cody Hines that’s exactly what I was thinking when they were talking about Skyward Sword XD
In windwaker: “No overworld before or since has matched it in sheer size and scale.”
BotW might have something to say about that.
Wind Waker Link isn't lazy, there just isn't anything to do on the island.
Thank you Fawful's Minion and
Rabbid Luigi.
I literally started APPLAUDING when fawful gave that little speech about Skyward Sword.
I just had an awesome visual of Logan standing over an unconscious Egoraptor giving the most badass battle cry in history.
Ah that's hilarious....
StarbitsMaster i can see it now...
StarbitsMaster That sounds awesome.
StarbitsMaster jesus is everyone butthurt about egoraptors OPINIONS?
i guess bad opinions on something popular is outlawed.
seems fair
I actually turned around to check if a gangar was behind me
Eldin's "The volcano erupted because of an explosion of my power" explanation was a pun. If it's a Nintendo or Level 5 game, you should be expecting some punny jokes.
Pun or not, pulled out in the most inconvenient moment. To explain the padding.
Top 5:
5. A Link Between Worlds
4. Twilight Princess
3. Wind Waker
2. Ocarina of Time

Isn't it hilarious that he has an a opinion on the internet.
Max G suddenly i have found people that like ss, i have found my family
Bring it in brother *hugs*.
+Typhon Destroyer Why no Skyward Sword?
I agree, but disagree. gannon didn't need to be in the game, but they could have clued to gannon somehow earlier without taking him out, or just fight with zant. either is fine, but i prefer if they kept gannon and just actually made the story a lot better to keep him. same problem as in starfox adventures.
I love hearing/seeing people with as much passion for Zelda as I have. I've played hundreds of games and few even come close to the lasting impression these games have had on me.
In MY personal opinion, these are MY favorite Zelda Games:
10. The Legend of Zelda
9. Links Awakening
8. Minish Cap
7. A Link to the Past
6. Twilight Princess
5. A Link Between Worlds
4. Ocarina Of Time
3. SkyWard Sword
2. Majora's Mask
1. Wind Waker
Chris Hayes
your list is actually pretty close to my personal list. :3
I agree with RabbidLuigi and FawfulsMinion On number on. At the same time they said "F*ck Yeah!", i was thinking the exact same thing. Go Wind Waker!!!
Thanks for the spoiler. -_-
You speak the truth LinkGaming
*****.
***** You should improve your grammar.
I always whatch the vid first before reading the comments
....I like Midna... :(
me too
Y no Oracle? Those two shaped my younger Zelda life. Beat them at age 7.
+Jackson Holder The Oracles just took Links Awakening and improved it. I would've definitely put them above Links Awakening
"And what the hell are you doing watching this video? Go and play some Zelda, son!"
Well put.
Freakin love Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass im a toon link fan

10. This game alone is the reason that I LIKE TRAINS.
9. Good, but doesn't beat its brother.
8. The story of this game should be made into a MOVIE! (Not with Link as the hero (That is asking for it to suck))
7. My first Zelda game. AND AN AWESOME ONE AT THAT.

1: WindWaker
I think you supposed to make an overrated joke with Wind Waker.
wind waker ftw
Those people that say ocarina of time is much more overrated than wind waker but all like wind waker the most=every zelda fan.
shadowliam7 I don't even think oot is overrated anymore, the sudden shit everyone's giving it kinda makes it underrated, its my 3rd favourite game in the series
Max G finally, someone who understands! Also i was replying to the commenter, not you. Don't worry.
This is by FAR the best top 10 Loz list I've ever seen, I was downright in tears by the ending! Truly amazing. Truly.
Wow I never really noticed until this viewing (I watch these multiple times) that the scripting of the countdown is REALLY good!
Stopped watching after you said you didn't like Midna....I know you can't please everyone and those are your opinions....but wow, Midna's one of my favorite characters in the whole series

Can't CDI be number 666 or something?
I think that it's because you maybe don't have the same sentimental value from older LoZ games that older people have
Skyward sword was ur first zelda game wasnt it.
l00katdatRPG all kinds of no.
***** well, i dont drink coffee, but thanks.
Interesting Fact: Zant from Twilight Princess is named after famed independent film director Gus Van Sant. :)
Wind waker has been my favorite ever since i started playing zelda. It was the first zelda game i played and one of the first ever games i played. To this day it is still my favorite game of all time. There are literally no words to describe how much i love it.
These two are classic youtube, with those intros and scripts... so nostalgic
You had me until the "FI is better than Midna" part. You CLEARLY haven't beat Twilight Princess
***** well that could've been presented better
Don't judge but spirit tracks is my favorite
+Stephanie Gonter Spirit Tracks is cool
I agree
Stephanie Gonter
Don't kill me
Phantom hourglass is my favourite game of all time
Stephanie Gonter wouldn’t say it’s my favorite but dear god is it over looked
I'd go twilight princess, skyward sword, wind waker, majoras mask then finally ocarina of time.
You like Zelda, too?
Bro.
One more reason to be your friend. *Brofist*
A fellow Bro! *Brofist back* But seriusly watch this whole countdown, it's hilarious and glorious at the same time.
Skyward sword was incredible, post TP fans bitched about it feeling too similar and "safe" SS changes things up and people loose their mind
it seems people that love TP hate SS and vice versa, I'm no different, I love Skyward, twilight on the other hand.......not so much
***** Fair enough, I wasn't a fan of TP but SS is in my top 5, I had a lot o fun with that game to the point where I couldn't put it down
***** I have a conflict with my 5th 6th and 7th favourite, I decided on my top 4 pretty well.
Yes fawful I'm with You about skyward sword 100%. I love motion controls so I love wii sports and sonic and the black knight.
Same here. Also, sonic and the black knight is one of my two favorite sonic games. Take a guess at #2.
+Nickle Guy give me a hint?
+acejak1234 it's another game on the wii
+Nickle Guy colors
+acejak1234 correct
What genga-
Say what you want about LoZ stories, Professor Layton's stories still reign supreme to me.
I LOVE WIND WAKER TOO!
FroakieTrainer54
Amen, bro...
THEDARKDEATH98 just saying I'm currently doing a lets play on it
Already tried that. Didn't work out...
THEDARKDEATH98 ok i just have a capture card
Majoras mask >>>>>> Ocarina of time
The art to me just seems really random without a theme, that's why I prefer OoT
billy snap *Ocarina
This also explains why we never see the Master Sword in the games following wind waker's timeline.
Your wrong fool u find the master sword in link between worlds
wrong timeline...
1hargate You're wrong fool, that's in a different timeline.
Well, I hope they make a better one in the future, if possible imagine how great that would be!
BEST ZELDA
1. oot
2.Tp
3. Majora's Mask
Who gives a fuck after that
I haven't played Majora's Mask yet but OoT and TP are my favorite too, just not in that order.
Close minded.
wow you live a sad life then
Really well explained reasons for your picks guys. My choices were definitely different, but I respect both of you for what you chose. Here is my Top 10 Zelda Games. Not including recent releases.
10. The Minish Cap
09. The Legend of Zelda
08. Oracle of Ages & Seasons
07. Link's Awakening
06. The Wind Waker
05. Skyward Sword
04. Ocarina of Time
03. Majora's Mask
02. Twilight Princess
01. A Link to the Past
Thank you for being one of the positive people that actually enjoyed skyward sword
You're high for listing TP below SS
I would have to agree although I do absolutely LOVE SS.
I think it's valid (jst my opinion) the extreme darkness kind of messed up my enjoyment of TP since it WAS hard to see. But SS interrupted gameplay with information, sadly I feel like SS had better character personalities. Note: I like both games
oilerfan871 eh i think that twilight princess is amasing but skyward sword is my fav
***** *HIGH FIVE*
oilerfan871
he also put Spirit tracks higher than a link to the past. so...
yeah his opinion.
Seriously Nintendo, what happened to the Majora's Mask remake?
I'm just going to slide the Majoras Mask remake into the same box as Half-Life 3, just to be safe.
Majora's Mask Remake Has Been Officially Confirmed!
Go to nintendos channel they have an announcement on it
Never mind, it's coming.
In majoras mask link is a kid the whole time
He's a teenager.
yeah he's a kid its set months after Ocarina of Time when Link told Zelda about Ganondork's plot and HE WAS A KID
and yes I call him Ganondork
Yeah
How could you put OOT behind windwaker :(
Because wind waker is a better game then ocarina of time
My Top 5 3D Zelda games: (best to worst) ((worst isn't worst I like em' all))
1). Twilight Princess
2). Skyward Sword
3). Ocarina of Time
4). Wind Waker
5). Majora's Mask
My personal 3D Zelda rankings
5. Twilight Princess, the easiest 3D Zelda game, i never once died while playing this game, the story made little since and seemed to backtrack on itself, the bosses were way to easy (though they all looked cool, and twilite fossil was a blast), most items were underutilized severely, not just spinner. the score was average for Zelda standers, which are pretty high, the rest of the characters are pretty boring and forgettable, and the pacing is awful
that said the dungeons were all great, Midna is a dynamic character, it can be eerie at times, and wolf link is cool, pity his segments are so repetative
4. Majora's Mask. Very simple reasoning, i cant handle N64 level graphics, so many emotional moments are ruined because they exceed the consoles capabilities, the fact that the game can be very short also looses points, i can handle low dungeon counts (MC), but just 4, come on
3. Ocarina of Time 3D, joining the likes of the Dark Knight and the Lion King in stuff that's supremely overatted but still very good. I love the dungeon's, many bosses, centralized large overworld, simple but epic story, iconic moments, well used items, etc, i do think the skulltula rewards were lame after all, and the ocarina was tedious to use
2. Skyward Sword, i never had a problem with the motion controls, sword play and all, i love the story, the villain, the dungeons, the bosses, the items (Beetle is awesome), the atmosphere, the music, the fact that it is actually a challenge like seriously you actually loose life easily in this game, the upgrade item systems, just so much love for this game
My only major complaints are that he free fall controlls are hard to figure out, and Fi, while a great idea, is not utilized to the full potential
So are you saying that Majora's Mask might go up on that list when the one for 3Ds comes out?
Jackson Heath possible, i will have to replay Oot 3D per compairison, strong chance of it thought
I will admit though I have played Oot 3D and I prefer the older majora's mask even with the inferior graphics.
You think Wind Waker's the best Zelda game and Ocarina of Time is overrated? Nice to meet you every zelda fan ever!
shadowliam7 not sure what you mean there
Skyward sword really made me feel like a hero that should help the people that inhabit this world, and revive it from being so...
Hell.. bring on the hate so i can address anyone who thinks this is a good zelda game.
whoever12341 "nor i am subjective."
That's…pretty much impossible.
I really like that speech about skyward sword
my list
5. majoras mask
4. majoras mask
3. majoras mask
2. majoras mask
1. majoras mask
Lol majoras mask is great its my 4th fav
+FroakieTrainer54 i mean 3rd fav
Mama Tattletail this.
Mama Tattletail 1. twilight princess
Awesome choice of music for Twilight Princess! It's probably my favorite song in the franchise
Logan's opinions on skyward sword are probably the single best things in countdown history
Am I really the only person who doesn't like wind waker?
YES
No you arent wind waker is the worse zelda game , and the fact that they put it at 1 makes me never want to see a video of theirs again.
STORMWHITEpro why do you hate it so much?
KSEJFPOISHGOSIGHS{OIHGSHGOHISGHSDHGHI{OSHGHGHSHIO{GSHOSOHI
IT NEVER MATTERS WHAT A GAME LOOKS LIKE
KJGSPJHHOISGO{IHGDSOHKSGHOIPOHISGOHIPSGHOIDHSGHOIPGHIOGHIOPHDISGHIOPDSIOGHOIDGHI
You know Ocarina of time told you how to beat every enemy 2 right.? and at least this game didn't have Na-Hay! Liste-vi
No Mystery?
THE KING OF HYRULE IS THE BOAT AND TETRA IS ZELDA !!!!!!!!!(Until the internet spread it like Wildfire)
JUST GET THE SWIFT SAIL IN THE HD VERSION AND STILL, YOU CAN TELEPORT!!!!!!!!!
1) Spoilers! Hadn't gotten there in the video! 2) Wind Waker was a fantastic game!
That was awesome and I hope others can agree.
you guys are reminders that remind me why I am addicted to youtube
Wind Waker HD is my favorite game of all time
Ram1 Chicken
Yeah best game ever
rabbid: what happens when you catch a bug? the game tells you you caught a bug"
that's what every zelda game does when you get an item, i don't see a problem in that area
Everything Fawfuls said about SS was spot on
Ah man I remember when these vids came out. So much nostalgia
oh my LORD! finaly two great gamers that realize that no legend of zelda game is greater than the almighty windwaker and too that i think you two!
I agree
Watchmojo's top zelda list is the worst top ten zelda games
True
Wind waker was the first video game I ever played so naturally it would be my favorite game ever. Not only is it nostalgic but still an amazing game
I personally don't find OoT that fun to play compared to others in the s, but my love for the game comes from the sheer epicness of it and the world of the game
Okay... now I've got to get Wind Waker HD. Great list, you guys!
2 of the best youtubers in video all my christmas have come together
14:00 that dialogue by Logan on top of fi's gratitude soundtrack was really deep
Skyward sword, twilight princess, and majoras mask are my 3 favorite zelda games ever, and the only ones ninbothered to 100%
"Is ganon gona SPARKLE for fuck's sake?!?" Ahhh, twilight jokes.
This list really caught my by surprise. Yet all my favorites were on it! I love it!
I actually think, that Midna was intended to be exactly like that :D
She seems to be quite selfish and cold at first, but the latest Moment you start liking her is, when Zant almost kills her and when Zelda sacrifices herself to save Midna. Both Midna and Zant are imho two of the best characters in the whole Zelda series in Terms of personality.
seriously guys. THANK YOU for putting Wind Waker at #1. Hands down the best 3D Zelda IMO
Top 5 Cause I am too lazy for top 17:
5. Ocarina of Time (Purely because it started the 3d Zelda game theme in a good way)
4. Majora's Mask (Love the concept of having 3 days and love the plot)
3. Skyward Sword (Great art style and actually had a point in saving Zelda -_-)
2. Link Between Worlds (Very long and engaging, loved the revamp of the old classic)
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO SEES THE GOOD JN SKYWARD SWORD!! *hugs Fawful*
