l've been playing marth for years in ultimate, and l think it only happened once or twice to me off-stage like that. On-stage it's a little bit more likely, but still not very
i wonder how much of this is marss getting less critical and yeet getting better clips. i used to think most yeetsmash clips were lame but now the majority of them are actually pretty exciting. dont know if anyone else shares the sentiment
I think it makes sense given that people's advantage states & sutuational awareness are obviously gonna get better at all levels of play this late in the game. So yeah, I think it logically checks out
Scrapping is fun. Most of this is scrapping which is why its interesting, you are dealing with the situation as its presented, no flowchart or pre-practiced combos. COMBOS are harder to do right, because if theyre too rehearsed, they just arent interesting. We've all seen the same combos a million times in a row, there is no thought behind them. The cool "combos" are when there are breaks in it, and a read has to be made, which allows for some nasty set ups. But the issue with that is, its only actually cool if the opponent actually knows what theyre doing. If you're doing insane strings on a bot, then nobody really cares, because some players just let you do whatever you want to them. They just mash and never get out of easily avoidable strings, its not interesting. Its only interesting when the opponent is actually playing somewhat optimally, but you're just reading their options anyways, and mixing them super hard. Thats why finding good COMBOS is actually difficult. It requires non-true combos with reads in the middle, but they have to be reads that would also work on a good player and not just a scrub. But scrapping is way different, because there are so many possible interactions that you cant really practice or rehearse for them. It comes down to split second decision making which is far more interesting then when someone is getting cooked.
What if Smash camera followed the players offstage, instead of keeping it to the level? How awful would it be to make it back to stage? Is that even an idea? lol Because I think it could be a thing on the next Smash
Except he’s not stealing whatsoever lmao. He adds insight and credits the original montage maker (yeet smash). That’s already better than 99% of reaction channels
Marss isnt rlly stealing content cuz tournament footage is like owned by no one anyone can view it and use them, if marss is stealing content then so is yeet smash lol
"but I actually like them" will get me to click every time.
Same
Like the comment before liking the video
Take notes marss
2:52 That Joker insulted Lucas' parents, which finally made him snap and want Joker dead
A shame it was all for moot
1:16 the fact this was game 5 grand finals makes this so much better
2:51 ive never seen 2 people hurtbox shift eachother before
“Mickey Mouse game” is a phrase that I have never even imagined being said, but one that fits Ultimate so well
Marss carries my crappy Mondays with the content. Thanks again good sir
2:40 has to be the most spaghetti clip I've seen in months.
this arc of marss actually liking clips is great 😂
the ridley vs pit was from my local. Mr. Ping is my hero
6:18 haven't seen Ryo compete in ages
So what Marss is saying is it’s a football
The Marth from the first clip actually did up-B for the invincibility, I didnt know it could send that way though

Got that “best player in the world” smash IQ

It’s with how lame our meta is his clips seem interesting
@@Chillaccino1idk man there was an offstage Luigi clip from last video that is easily the best Luigi clip I’ve seen

I’m always here for Wii Fit getting hit with their own soccer ball
What if Smash camera followed the players offstage, instead of keeping it to the level? How awful would it be to make it back to stage? Is that even an idea? lol
Because I think it could be a thing on the next Smash
I think in that first clip the ball is why wii fit got sent to the right, but how tf did the ball get there
2:14 only really bad if you let Charles do it you lol
1:15 *grands game 5??*
fyi you can hit a volley ball with any part of your body
Wholesome Marrs is the best
Ridley player here, just wanted to let you know he would’ve made it back from there.
Mr. Ping my goat
Where's Monke Monday?
So we not gonna talk about you and Charles then? 2:17
Marss stealing content will never not make me chuckle, it’s peak toxicity

Spaghetti gameplay
yo I'm in a Marss video!
It's not a soccer ball either
Pro players judging everyone else as if they're all pros will never not be annoying
