5:05 the reason the Yoshi didn't make it to the other ledge is probably because they didn't realize or forgot that Yoshi's little boosts he gets from his egg throw do not refresh from grabbing the ledge, he has to touch down on stage to get his 3 little boosts back, so normally he'd be able to make it, but since he probably used his little boosts earlier before grabbing ledge he didn't have them for going under the stage.

The clip at 4:54 wasn't the terry popping off. It was the Steve raging and then hitting the table making the GCC adapter disconnect slightly and showing that the terry disconnected because the Steve is on procon.
I was the Steve in that scenario. You can't tell in the clip but the switch actually undocked momentarily which is what causes the DC, and I was the one who "popped off". It was my fault so I took the loss and let myself die.
14:32 As a former toon link main, I can say that unfortunately Tink DAIR is just Like That. If you run right up to the very end of the ledge and DAIR, you'll slip off unless you pull back very slightly.
kirby main here: the kirby down air chain clip- easiest thing to do is to actually jump to the right, turning kirbo around, and from their either prepping for a stagespike bair, or going for a recovery to intercept your opponents recovery specifically, and potentially spike them again while you grab ledge. anything else is two jumps or more for positioning and dark pit would already be past you. (I see a world where the kirby throws stock away with a nair to put pit under stage, but stupid strat)
I think the reason tink sd’d with the dair was because of wacky hit boxes. Tinks hurtbox is at his hand during dair. Hero’s hand was to the right of Tink by a couple of pixels from grabbing ledge, causing the player models to overlap, which forced Tink to the left just enough to be pushed off the stage, and sd.

Yes they could gentlemans agreement to play it out and thatd be the honorable thing to do, but I also wouldnt blame the guy for taking the choice for a free win... esp if this is a Best of 3 in tourney and each are 1-1. It also serves as a lesson to the other player; "it aint over till its over. Dont popoff early."
