She did a great job with the big stock steering wheel and when they swap it out with a new smaller one then she should do even better. It looked like she had a blast and I think that we will be seeing a lot more of her in the future.

Ken, a message from a nobody to an absolute legend. Mad respect on getting your daughter out there, its really awesome to see the bond you have. Mine is almost a year now and hopefully I will get the chance to take her racing one day. Good on you dad.
A few notes to the car builder.. #1 Get rid of the Rag Joint in the steering shaft, it kills the front end feel of a Fox and makes it feel really vague. (You'll need a 33-Spline U-Joint.. I think it's 33 but double check me on that) #2 She really needs a smaller steering wheel.. The fox has a 14.5" wheel and she's hitting her hand on the hand brake. You can use the steering column in the car but wouldn't suggest it because you'll be limited in choice. Get a pre 1987 Fox Column and it'll make things a lot easier plus she'll have wheel height adjustment. #3 Fox's and their understeer.. Maximum Motorsports K-member should help a lot =) #4 Sub Frame connectors, Sub Frame Connectors.. you get the point.. Not the bolt on one's, go with weld in. These little things help a Fox Body A LOT!!! A lot of people think Fox's are terrible for handling which they are but hey look at what Steve Saleen did with them. They can be great with a little work. From the moment I saw her drive I knew she would take to this very well and she's only getting better. "Someone said "I thought we were getting her a easy car to drift" I will say this.. My dad put me in a 91' GT when I was 12 years old (We still have the car today and have for 30 years now) and honestly that chassis taught me how to drive, and is the reason I became a racing driver. I've always said anyone who can drive a Fox Body in anger and do it well can drive ANYTHING!! They understeer and even worst snap oversteer. They will bully you around especially in the wet.. But they will teach you a lot about subtle control and being smooth. That car is perfect for her.. Best of luck to her.
