Great, informative video! Exfiltration scanner needs a rework, imo. I think it should also increase the speed that the car arrives when you call or move it, or maybe cause your location to ping less often. As it stands the problem is that you only ever really need to ping vision briefly so getting a drain reduction is kind of useless. I like the thought of a perk that is based on being the one with the briefcase, but it needs to actually make extraction easier.
Exfiltration scanner. Hold down the scanning button to drain your intel at a slower pace... what does it do for us? Well, combine having lots of intel with high exfill, you can STOP the briefcase pinging by a large margin especially if you can combine it with characters such as Larcin. You can sprint, or walk for a grand distance while using it and exfill helps you not ping for that long period. I use it on purple for my Yumi (mostly because I dont have anything else and I almost always get the briefcase first) and when I use the exfill, I try to use at least 3-4 intel to get my bearings of their positions and that is a lot of time held down. In other situations, I need to make the sprint but I dont want to ping just yet, hold the button down and you wont make the ping. It mostly helps for sprinting/not pinging imo. Otherwise, it is niche, but it can make the game winning play with distance making between the extraction points. I wonder if they will introduce field kits for Heat.
@@1stGlitch that is entirely point of that chip. it is actually extremely powerful chip but it is also... extremely high risk because you need essentially devote your entire build into suitcase which involves having blue max intel, purple hacking speed and that chip. you give up all combat capabilities just to rush suitcase.
@@dodang_9147I wouldn't exactly call it the point of the chip, and I definitely wouldn't call it extremely powerful because of it, it certainly has more uses and is more useful than I thought, but it still is outshined by having good hack speed and intel capcity, which are just more useful throughout the rest of the game. Obviously you can run all 3, but at some point you have to call the car or start the extract that is going to give you position away anyways. I still don't recommend it, but I'm glad others are finding use of it
@@1stGlitch sometimes, getting opening shot is all you need to win a gunfight. it allows you to assassinate players with suitcase. normally, suitcase is only general tracking tool but if you build full suit-case build, it can be used as primary assassinate tool. It is high risk high reward. Health chip and Expertise are low risk, medium reward. they are not game-winning bonuses but they also don't require you to have the golden case so that is how I see it. I used to run it on cav W2 back when W2 was broken good. it was a build with goal around rushing suitcase as fast as possible.
My loadout was: Grey: Overclock Green: Hard-Drive Blue: Bulletproof Purple: Social Battery Gold: Field Agent Great kit for worst-case scenario. Gaining health early game was amazing because %50 of players will die in Insertion and you may not have gold or keycards in late game. Sometimes even the briefcase can be stolen before you enter vault and pick purple.
Overclocking Chip: would be better either Grey, blue or purple the green augment you get from grey is so minimal to be ignored, and you better get it earlier; Bullet Proof Fabric: green and Gold are pretty much the most efficient... getting the blue instead of the green just give you 2 point of health and if you are to put it in purple just go for the gold. Field Expertise: again like overcloaking chip, the green is not really an improve, taking the gray give 15% and +5% for the green so either go for blue or above then. Extended Ammo Pouch: again the green chip is subpar, just ignore it either take gray or blue. Cover Accelerator: I use it on Larcin as it allow to get in cover faster from being invisible, but again it's either gray or blue. External Hard-Drive: as you said is perfect for Green as overclocking chip is better in elsewhere than green.. personnally I like grey OC + green EHD. Social Battery: is best in either Green or Purple if you go toblue just go for either... you only get 1hps from improving from green to blue but 2hps from blue to purple. so in conclusion as a green best is either Extended Hard-Drive, Social battery or Bulletproof Fabric as a grey overclocking chip or extended ammo pouch
Well its a difference of 10Hp, most weapons that hit for less than that fire quickly enough it may not matter. It'd be interesting if I went back and looked at fights in my videos how many I survived where that actually made a difference. Off the top of my head there's only 1
I think running HP on high slots is too much of a risk for too little of a reward, unless if you playing tanky characters and builds such as Chavez E2, Squire P3 and Red P1 E2. It seems so much safer to run HP on grey which will protect you from big bursts of damage since the very beggining of the game. I can also see a case for running HP on green since Chavez W3 1 body shot 1 head shot dmg is exactly 105, but since staff rooms been nerfed I'm personally willing to take this risk to skip the green chip if necessary. But of course as more character are added and the meta changes, new damage thresholds are on the line this opinion might change.
the gold chip is not about changing break-points for weapons. it is about changing break-points for guards shots. the way you can see gold chip and blue chip is "I can tank 2-3 guard shots" and fight my enemy. it also changes break-points if someone uses turret gadget. it is anti-chip damage field upgrade. i think only 3 gold chips ever worth using are health, expertise cooldown and exflitration scanner. I don't see why anyone would use anything beyond those 3 in gold because none of other upgrades are game-changing enough besides these 3. scanner is best for suitcase which is most powerful thing in the game. cooldown is game-changing if expertise is game-changing and health is just best overall chip in the game.
He takes one sick day, then releases a banger! Nice work!

Wait I didn't know the package timer pauses while you're scanning, that's interesting!

I used the extended ammo on greens or blues or even pinks and orange as I like having more ammunition as I run out of bullets at bad times.
Omg I needed this thank you! T-T

How much does health make a difference between Grey and Orange?
I know they're good for resistance characters or if you're in teams and you get downed but otherwise I don't get gold health
