An Evening with Dr. Azra Raza

The Canada Urdu Association was honored to host, Dr. Azra Raza, on Sunday, June 23rd at the Surrey Sports & Leisure Complex. She is a renowned scientist, professor of medicine, clinical director, lecturer, and author. She is a passionate linguaphile, especially of the Urdu language, and devotee and student of the works of the famous Indian poet Mirza Ghalib. She is also co-author of the book, 'Ghalib: Epistemologies of Elegance.'
