Ford Edge - How to use Connected Navigation

In your 2023 / 2024 Ford Edge you may have "Connected Navigation" as part of the Ford Co-Pilot 360 Assist+. We show that you must first activate your "Ford Pass" app before you can access this option. Without "Ford Pass", you will see the map showing where you presently are, but not allowed to get directions. Once "Ford Pass" has been activated, you will be able to use your Connected Services such as Navigation. After the included period of time, Connected Navigation becomes a subscription service. See how to enter a destination by typing or with your voice. You can even check gas prices at the nearest stations.

Do you know if you can use gps without a smart phone? My 83 year old grandma just bought a brand new edge and they told her after it was done it only works if you have a smart phone 😩

@abbyvisel8558 unfortunately without the Ford Pass app activated in the vehicle, the GPS will only display the map of where you currently are. You are not able to enter an address for directions.

"where to?" is not an option for me. And i already have my vehicle connected to the app. no clue why it won't work. It's a 2024 Ford Edge Titanium.

@Spencer167 your vehicle needs to be added onto your Ford Pass app. Plus, it must be "ACTIVATED". You tap "Activate Vehicle" on the app, then in the vehicle you need to complete the activation by answering a couple questions that should "pop up" on your infotainment screen. The Connected Navigation system will only show a map of where you are until the Ford Pass Activation is complete. If both your phone & vehicle acknowledge activation and still no "Where to?" you will need to take it to the Service Department of your local Ford store.
