This is easily one of the greatest sets I've ever seen. INCREDIBLE game 9 comeback, Insane game 5, and the best goddamn possible finish. Tweek and Spargo were both playing out of their minds here.
that's two years in a row mainstage had a crazy game 10 grand finals. As a side note, both this and last years sets were incredible, if you haven't seen last year i recommend you watch it right now its probably in contention for the best set post quarantine. This years grands was also amazing, the return of sparg0, marked with a game 10 finishing touch on the player that sent him to losers. simply iconic
The fact that we can look back at this year and say "this set was the greatest set i've seen" i really feel like this year is one of the best years of smash.
Spoilers: Congrats to Spargo! Been helping him past 2 years and he's made CRAZY progress in that time. Both these players are insanely good at their peaks, and finishing a tournament with FINISHING TOUCH is super awesome. Really happy for him!
Love the fact that you're considerate enough to spoil teh results, because let's be honest, people would most likely check the comments first or while in the middle of the video, props to ya, king
Man he has improved so much and with a character everyone craps on lol I love Cloud and I’m glad Spargo doubled down on using him. And MAN what a way to end the tournament 😂 congrats to Spargo, he deserves it. Also just want to add that Tweek’s Diddy is ridiculous, it’s a miracle people can actually beat him lol
I watched this set live and BRO this set was INSANE, The emotion and the struggle for Sparg0 wanting to win after going through that slump was the perfect way for him to finish off 2022 and it was nice to see Tweek Dominate after a while of him underperforming and for him to show us the brilliance of diddy once again. I’m glad Sparg0 won because I’m a cloud main and it’s nice to see him push that character to its limits. Congrats Spargoat!
Four years since SSBU came in and these guys still improving to the greatest world class level. I really wish this game would never die. Players like Spargo, Tweek, Leo, Gluto, Kurama, Light, Big D really makes this so enjoyable to watch 👏
To think spargo got 3-0'd in Winners semis by tweek, and then went on a RUN through Kurama, Light, Big D and then faced tweek once again in a 2 set game 10 grand finals and won both sets is simply amazing, he can and WILL be the best player in the world some day

Hey! No Steve in grands. That's nice to see. Both players played very well, and it made a very exciting set. Definitely one of my favorites from this year. Tweek's mentality seems to be WAY better than before. In this state, he is a contender for top 5 in Ultimate. I am excited to see more from him in the future. Man this rivalry between Leo's two main rivals is something really cool to see. Since the Ludwig Invitational Tweek's mentality has changed for the much, much better both in gameplay and, I think, him personally because damn, that dude used to beat himself up so much over losing. Sparg0 is another player who seems to let his mental affect him a bit too much. I always remember that tournament where he, Leo, and Cosmos were all playing Aegis and when he was losing against Cosmos you could see it in his player cam how he was slouched in his chair, looking all hopeless and defeated. Fortunately he knew well enough to take the time needed to take care of himself and is now still getting back into shape. Both Tweek and Sparg0 seem to be currently in an improved mental transitioning state, and I can't wait to see how they fare against the man himself when Leo comes back.
Glad to see Tweek back on top! Hope he breaks through his genesis curse next januari. Congrats to spargo for this amazing game 10 set! One of the goats!

Tweek looked unstoppable, but Sparg0 came through with a great gameplan, reads and conditioning. A couple of unfortunate SDs made me fear for the worst, but a great mental helped him steer the matches back towards him. It's no easy feat beating Tweek in such an incredible shape. Welcome back to the... Main stage, Sparg0!
I love Sparg0! I feel like no one talks about his limit management enough. It never feels like he is under pressure to “land big move before glow go away”. Sparg0 always finds the right time to use it even if it doesn’t seem hype. If it just gives him the last couple pixels he needs to recover, if the mobility is what he needs to press advantage, if he needs to blow you up off stage and then get back, if he is mixing you up with a sudden blade beam two seconds in, if he never sees the opening he needs and it just fades. The crazy thing is even that last scenario is still scary because he is so damn good at using Limit
Sparg0 is a top 3 or maybe top 2 player in the world rn. He looks unstoppable. Beating the 2 best players in the US on his way to winning the tournament 👏 👌🏾
What a great tournament and loved seeing sparg0 take it. He’s so sick and I love his cloud. And the ending with finishing touch was the crème de le crème. Also love how the two smash goat casters were on the mics.

not happening soon, all credits to Sparg0 though! great win
If he stops doing dumb mistakes
Contender??? Yes, Dropping Leo of top 1??? Not even in your more wets dreams
@@Izual-Anyel Number 1 of the ranking in 1 year, Mkleo will always be the Ultimate Goat, there is no one close.
29:05 "Rompele la madre Sparg0"
All Sparg0 needed was some decent headphones to listen to Twice and play at its highest level.
This game is so much entertaining to watch without DLC
That finishing touch was the cherry on top. Well done Sprag0!
42:52 so nice to see mkleo congratulating spargo like that
That finish was debatably the most hype clinching of a tournament win ive ever seen. That was an insane tourney ender. Spargoat could never be washed. Dont forget who was crowned the prince of smash
I love watching Tweek and Spargo sets. I love both of these players and Another Set with Tweek down in history.
I was really hoping for tweek to clutch this, but this ending was just too good to be mad
29:05 “Rómpele la madre spargo!!”
Jajajajaja no me la creó xD
SparGOAT ending the tournament with the Finishing Touch, sick! What a wild Grand Finals. 👍👍
29:06 “rómpele la madre Sparg0” XDD
Y se la rompió.
At the tail end of a fantastic season of Smash, albeit with many ups and downs, we got an amazing set between two hype players
INSANE SET!!!! Sparg0 is a monster. Love that kid.
the prince, the legend, THE KID. Spargoat is back, holy shit this kid is insane.
That finisher to just cap off the game 9 comeback and the perfect game 10 was just impossibly good. What a king.
It would be so cool to see tweek using Link. Tweek is so good at z drop combos with diddy that I bet he could master the infinite z drop combo with Link and that’s all I want to see really lol
I don't care, people are still saying Tweek isn't Top 10 anymore, he is.
Sure Leo wasn't here but guess what, Leo is #1.
Tweek is undoubtedly Top 10, probably even higher if he keeps this up.
I think what was criticized is his top 5 in the ranking. Which was impossible to sustain with his old results, at this moment he is undoubtedly top 10, but I think that for the top 5 he is not enough.
They would be: Mkleo, Acola, Light, Tea and Spargo and someone else could enter the debate.
@@Gran_Ove proto is defo in the discussion for top 5
@@surdine6671 Protobanham, Glutonny, Onin, Chag XD, and others.
@@Gran_Ove chag?
@@TeenXtacydont you see the XD? Tweek maybe fit better.
Battle for 2nd place in ultimate let’s just be honest for a second 😄
29:06 rómpele la madre spargoo🤣🤣 🇲🇽
Some of the greatest smash ever played right here
Sparg0はMKLeo以外に負けないでほしいから優勝してよかった
Congrats to Spargo. A true smash legend!!!!!!!!!!!
SET OF THE YEAR BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Damn Tweek and Spargo played 14 games this tourney and went 7-7
I’m so mad commentators missed/ didn’t react to that fsmash read second game. That was insane
