Hold Bluetooth and mode buttons for 20 seconds it’ll force a reset. My headset was not responding and the red light was continuously showing but that fixed me right up.

This was a temporary fix, it started again when I turned it off and on again. Though I had a slightly different issue to you, with mine it works fine for around 10 minutes, then turns itself off.
After you unbrick it, check to see if there’s a firmware update available for your headset

Did this 3xact thing before even coming across your video... However mine was never bricked. It just randomly turns off all on its own ever 2 minutes or so... So I did this, updated firmware and problem persisted. Eventually I returned it and got a new one...
Used the new one for about 20 minutes and now I'm having the EXACT same issue! FML 😡 I don't get the issue... Is it my PS4 somehow?

My headset won’t even turn on either. And when I plug into my laptop on the turtle beach hub it senses that the headset is plugged in but says an additional component must be plugged. It’s saying that I need to plug in the transmitter. And there is no light coming on at all.
This worked after trying to use the Turtle beach software to update my headset and i kept getting an error then all i could hear was clipping not real audio i thought i had just wasted 150$..im glad i was able to find a solution thank you 3/25/22
I pre ordered this headset right before it came out last year, Worked about a month and then bricked just like yours, Got ahold of Turtle Beach and they sent me a new one really quickly, Worked about a month and the same damn thing happened lol. I'm using it with the PS5 so maybe it has some kind of software issue with the newer consoles or something I don't know but I just finally got ahold of Turtle Beach again and they sent me the recovery tool as well. Just ran it and it seems to have fixed it. Just a heads up to everyone out there that has this headset in case you didn't know, There is a new firmware update for it from Turtle Beach so you might want to go update yours if you haven't recently. Hopefully anyone having problems gets it sorted out. Thanks for the video!
Damm i bought the same model you have from amazon since i had prime and the same shit happen to me and i cant ask for a refund since i don't think thats how amazon works and i don't think turtle beach will send me one new like you since i didn't buy it off there website so tough shit for me
@@alexfrancisco9368 Have you tried to use the tool that this video is about yet? I don't think I really needed to even have my first one replaced it's just at the time they hadn't released this recovery tool back then. Also even after using this tool to fix my headset it did the same thing again and wouldn't turn on or charge but I just used the same tool again and it fixed it again. Not sure what the issue is but at least this tool seems to fix it lol. So make sure you try it out if you haven't already.

This only works if you have access to a Windows computer. If you're using Linux, Mac, or other non-windows computer you're scr*w*d. The only option is to email Turtle Beach support and wait the "three or four days" for them to reply. They're still blaming COVID-19 for their poor customer support.

What if you already did the recovery tool and updated the headset. But they won’t turn back on after sometime for some reason; yet the USB is still blinking. What do you do then?

@@zaintariq120 yes actually I got in contact with the company and they sent me a link to update my headset.
if you hear a popping noise after you reset them. Download the audio hub put both USB's in your computer and it will let you update your headphones! it will fix the popping sound (This info is only for ps4).

You can turn on without PC! It's happened to me twice! Press all 3 buttons for 15 - 20 seconds and should work! And wualah

For anybody without a computer if this happens to you and your on console yu have to log into the account it was last paired on and just let your headset sit for 20 or so minute and it’ll go back to normal just happened to me

Nice video! I've gone through three pair of these 700 Gen 2. The first pair broke. The second pair, as you described, "bricked" . As of this writing, the headphones have "bricked" themselves five times!!!! One must ask WHY??? A $150 product, IMO, be able to load software. Now, the real kicker is the damn recovery tool ONLY works on a PC. Turtle Beach TOTALLY disrespected Mac users, like me! Shame in TB for NOT considering ALL platforms.

I have the easiest method. I remember this trick when I dropped my very first phone in water. Someone told me to dry the phone and then put it in rice. So I took my headset and took a freezer ziplock bag and put the earpiece with the controls into the bag and filled it with brown rice and tied the bag and let it sit overnight while I slept. In the morning I took it out and plug the charger in and the redlight came on. I let it charge for about two hrs and now it works. So screw computers!

(Actual context though mine got bricked after only a week and a half I’m seriously doubting how “good” these headphones actually claim to be despite that I do enjoy them when im actually able to use them I’ve got a pair of recon 70 as well which these were supposed to replace they’ve disappointed me so far in the whole “product lifetime” department but thats fine I guess I got these for the Bluetooth compatibility so I can use them for mobile discord calls which I cannot use my recon 70 for because my phone has no headphone jack but anyway thanks for the help here I didn’t wanna lose my 150 dollar headphones only after a weeks usage.)

I did this a few times and it finally worked however I can’t connect Bluetooth now. My Bluetooth button operates Siri on a phone that doesn’t exist... and then plays Michael buble at the highest volume and won’t turn off or turn down without turning off the device and turning it back on.
Press and hold the Bluetooth button to turn Bluetooth off. Then, press and hold the Bluetooth button to turn it back on and keep holding it until it says “pairing Bluetooth”. This will allow you to pair it to your new phone.
