Just put on the HP45’s on my 24’ RG last month. I love them. Leave at 3am for work, neighbors haven’t complained yet, plus loud enough in traffic so people know I’m there..
I tried the 500-0107 standard baffle 4" slips one on my new 2024 RG and was not impressed. I had read the standard louvered baffle offered better performance and was a bit more quiet than the newer DBX baffle. If all you are after is a louder sound they are great. The bike lost low end and mid-range power. The noise also drove me crazy on longer rides.. If you are interested in performance in any way I think there are many better options. I even installed the DK customs lolipop baffle inserts that helped restore some of the lost low end and mid range. It took me nearly 2 hours with a strap wrench to get the endcap off one of the pipes which was ridiculous IMO. For now, on a stock motor, I went back to the OEM mufflers and am happy. Maybe on a modified or tuned engine the rinehart pipes make more sense. I was going to wrap the baffles with some packing and re-install but I grew tired of fiddling with the pipes. Rinehart also sells a wrapped baffle I was willing to buy but they wouldn't sell them to me as they are for European markets only. I do not like the look of these pipes shown in this video, the mufflers and the sheet metal rinehart plate over the X pipe area do not appeal to me.
@tmar0075 yes it's a shame that you spend all this money on a bike and you have to spend l don't know 1,000 dollars to get it to sound like harleys should sound and always sounded like. No thanks l will stick with my twin cam and evo sportster.
Just got a 2015 Road King with full rinehardt exhaust with DBX45 mufflers. I was looking at these as a replacement they seem to have a better sound IMO
Pipe discussions are right there with oil discussions. Everyone has an opinion. Me? Still riding my 2002 FLHRCI with Hooker slip-ons. Sound? No mistaking, that's a Harley-Davidson.
hey there Hegshot! so i have rinehart DBX on my bike and just installed the rinehart slim headers that i found on marketplace for 300 BUCKS!!! so im guessing you prefer duals over 2-1 exhaust? also did you install the Fuel moto insert? I heard that you need those to gain power back to likea 2-1
I’ve always run Rineharts on a Harley. I’ll be curious to see what the bottom of your side cases look like after 5k or 10k miles since they stop well short.
I don't like short pipes, especially stopping under any bag. Sitting still, I would think bags will get hot. Also, I don't like that big flat plate holding pipes.
I have the same setup on my 24 CVO ST, and I couldn't agree more on everything you said. It's really mellow at low speeds but but gets very loud at higher speeds.
Totally disagree mate , I have full system Rhineharts 4.5 on my 2020 RKS , sound is good , performance is good , but the fit is very ordinary for a expensive product . My HD mechanic could not get them spaced evenly in the stretched bag slots . He said he had the same issue with other Rhineharts... I even tried to adjust them, a bit more but could not with very little play in the brackets . I ended up making a spacer against the frame to the right Bag to , have even spacing at the rear of my RKS.... Not good enough Rhinehart !!
My brand new exhaust it was included in the bike is on the ground I use them outside for door stops. Your motor is an air compressor, back pressure read up on it
I have to ask, it looks like you have a saddleman seat along with saddlebag guards on your 24 rg. I purchased a saddleman seat for my 24 sg and found out later that the seat will not work with saddlebag guards. So I had to ship the seat back due to saddleman not designing the seat to work with the guards. So are you finding that the seat is bunching up where the guards connect to? Because if so, saddleman told me that it will eventually destroy the seat.
Many people have many ideas on their version of an exhaust. Some like blaring loud ala TAB, some like loud tinny of the S&S and V&H, along with many others. It’s a personal choice. I like Rineharts because the have the best baffling system that’s also race tested. It’s not overly loud but a lower frequency rumble. To each their own I guess.
Those sound very much like my V&H twin slash pipes. Same sound, mellow idle sound, and not obnoxious at highway speeds. But when you get in it they really sing. Difference is, the Vance and Hines pipes aren’t friggin ugly. Sound great, but wow, fugly.
I like Vance and Hines pipes. I ride an 2000 fatboy ..with old school Vance and Hines that sound much deeper powerfull sound... your pipes sound tinty cheap sound almost like an exhaust leak....Sorry
Bassani for me. Once you came out from behind your bike, I see you like your donuts. I do have reinharts on my tri glide, and bassani on the sportglide. Hate the neighbors anyway.
I think everyone should get the sound to their personal likeness and the end of the pipes need to come past the satelbags as the extremely hot exhaust coming out will leave burn marks on your satelbags
Loving my Rinehart exhaust. Just bought a 2023 road glide special and it gives me chills hearing it, this is my first Harley and I get why people buy them. Lots of love from Las Vegas.
I won't use a quiet exhaust. When I had a quiet exhaust, I got into several wrecks including the one that almost killed me. Using loud pipes, the cages keep away.
I'm not impressed with the Rinehart fitment on the '24 Harley baggers. They have issues with the sizing of their pipe inside diameters and quality control. In addition, you reuse the Harley clamps and they don't fit well at all, the Harley muffler OD size is smaller than Rinehart. Overall their lack of QC makes the installation much harder than it should be. Love the sound, but they need to step up the fitment.
I don’t like slipons. Never did, every Harley I had I put a full exhaust. I have a 23 Roadglide-ST and ripped off that ugly, massive and super super heavy factory pipe and put a Sawicki 2into1 stainless pipe. I’m after performance. I don’t care about sound, if it’s loud or not just pure performance. And it does both well. It’s loud when it needs to be and quiet when I’m just cruising. I didnt want the old man look with duels. You know the if the pipes are not sticking out 6 in. Past the hard bags it just doesn’t look right crowd. lol
@maxxbenzz7842 I recently replaced the pro pipe. I'm guessing the weight of the pipe and or vibration put off by the engine broke the mounting bracket. But yes I really liked the pro pipe.
@@PeterSmith-or3pq I'm currently running the VH brushed stainless upsweep. Loud as hell, but I love it. The mount at the transmission on the propipe I had kept cracking. Pro pipe....
When you start by saying this product is the absolute best for X in this case, Harley motorcycle, and you're talking about exhaust, no one is going to agree. It's like saying hands down that this is the best seat, or this is the best oil, best whatever. You just get free shot from companies to promote their products...
My 23 Low Rider ST sounds better than those. Rinehart does sound good. I used to have Rinehart slip on's with no cats. It sounded great. Not as good as my current exhaust with CR483 cam.
Hi Hegshot Rides, great video, running Rinehart slim line dual headers with 4.5 DBX slip ons on my 2020 FLTRXS, only 1 negative for me, exhaust blocks clutch actuator case for easier bleeding of clutch fluid 😢looking for a smaller clutch actuator cover in hopes of gaining 1” of clearance , Ride Hard💪🏼, Be Blessed 🙏🏽, Aloha, Kenneth 🤙🏽
Never listen to a review when it’s sponsored. You might be honest about your review but kinda hard to believe you would say anything negative when it’s being sponsored. I have 4.5 zombies and I think they sound great and I’m sure Reinharts sound great too but I would never buy anything under a sponsorship.
This is exactly why I’ve totally given up listening to you and other TH-camrs because you’re just bought and paid for by your sponsor. I stopped watching after your first statement saying that Reinhardt was the best and thank you Reinhart for giving me these. You’ve lost all credibility.
I wish I could wear a full face on my street glide. Must be a road glide look dumb looking bike dumb looking helmet…don’t quit your day job this is more of a video of what not to do with your bike.
I hate the newer harleys.. They are like cars, not like a bike anymore, I won't buy anything after 2010.. And the exhaust blows.. It's mid.. Nothing special.
I saved a load of cash and drilled out the cat sounds great then fit some slip ones with baffle removed cost approx 200 dollars Job done

2 into 1 sidewinder is what I went with. Never been a huge fan of the plugged brand.
I love my 2-1 Sidewinder. Not loud but deep sounding. Great chrome finish.
To me the twin cams sounds overall better than the M8.. no matter what pipes u put on them..mising the lobe for sure😅
Twin cams do sound good no matter what exhaust you use but, throw a cam in an M8 and a good head pipe… they sound pretty nasty!!
Yes the sound of a twin cam runs rings around the m8
Yes. The cam makes all the difference on an M8. Slipons are just a start
You are correct and I have an M8
