- I took a break from TH-cam for a few months just to recollect my thoughts and focus inwards so I could hear God's voice, His instructions and plans for my life. I have gained some clarity and determined by next steps which I share in this video. I hope you enjoy watching and don't forget to subscribe! 💛🙏

I do not have the struggle with cancer although I have been my husbands caregiver with his colon cancer. I’m so happy to see your videos pop up and hear your stories.
I wanted to comment about you rising from the ashes, into something new God is doing in your life- that was Gods perfect timing for me to hear too, as I’ve long suspected him working in my life too! Cancer never takes a day off or are you prepared for it to come to your home. But I can say, God has used it in my life, as yours, and He loves us too much to keep us in the ashes.
He is always at work and doing a great new work!

I’m so glad my words had an impact on you. Being a caretaker is harder than having the actual cancer sometimes and your husband is very lucky to have your love and support. May we continue to allow God to lead us and to surrender to his will in our lives.

Hi Dr Lee, I was so worried about you, It warmed my heart to see you were on today. You inspire me.
I am undergoing my second chemotherapy treatment, It has been terrible chills fever drug interactions and a few
days in the hospital.. Extreme fatigue is the biggest problem, 20 hours of sleeping and still tired like you never slept.
Depression has knocked on the door but God's grace has gotten me through it. What cancer doesn't understand
is that I had a terrible young childhood. Cancer cannot compete with that fact. I was very resilient then and made it
through, God has been here and that quiet time with him is unmatched. I understand your personal life is yours alone
You are right to keep it to yourself. I am still doing the music therapy for cancer patients. It is wonderful, it helps with
the depression, I encourage others out there to look into it,. Most are at no cost. Eva Cassidy has beautiful music
She sings Fields of Gold, Over the Rainbow ., Eva's music inspires me as she died at age 33. God Bless her You & others

Yes it only took almost 40 years to get here, but I do feel like my life is just now starting. Despite the sadness, grief, despair, disappointments, and pain, I can finally feel joy again and have a future to look forward to. I feel alive. God is so good. 🥹

Makis and Joe Tippens. Joe Tippens had his own “treatment” and cured himself from terminal cancer and Dr. Makis is now doing a study on the protocol. Very safe and can be used in conjunction with traditional treatments

Great to see an update Dr. Lee! Happy you're back in the office. I'm a 3rd year medical student torn between choosing Family and Internal medicine right now myself lol. I do love that long term relationship you build with patients, I feel like that's one of the most rewarding things of being a doctor. Glad you're getting the treatment you need, and I pray everything goes well!
Oh that’s great to hear! 3rd year is important to make your decision. I chose family medicine because I also like Ob/Gyn and pediatrics. I didn’t just want to see adults. I also like to do some procedures and emergency care and actually was torn between emergency medicine and family medicine. Glad I chose Family Medicine though especially now in my situation.

It's great to see you doing well, and that's amazing news about the trial. Isn't it funny how things work out when you follow by faith? I've had a few times in my life where I have experienced this. It always seems so crazy to begin with, but eventually, the picture comes into focus, and you can understand why.

I hope I remain forever fascinated by seeing/hearing of circumstances that initially feel like the worst possible, devastating outcome before unexpected, life-altering choices that better the old in different ways start appearing on our path.
You can and will triumph over the intruder more commonly referred to as cancer. I hate to give it credit for anything, but when handled in the way you are approaching it, there is a huge opportunity for expanded self-awareness and self-love that many will not experience in their life-time, and that would never happen without the health and other challenges along the way.

I'm very glad you are a Christian and don't hesitate to share your faith. God is on your side. I pray that God's will be done in your life. Don't worry about sharing every aspect of your life. We can figure out a lot by you moving. That news is not anyone's business. Please don't take on so much that you don't have time to rest and be with your children.
My life and all that I am is His. I just want to live the life He has planned for me as much as I am able. All glory to our Father in Heaven 🙏

My sister that has been dealing with soft tissue sarcoma had a great news last week. Her last pet scan didn’t light up at all. She is doing immunotherapy and trusting God fully with her life. Divine. Timing. Omg. So happy with all your changes. A new area. New dr. Treatments planned for October n yes this clinical trial sounds. Amazing. I think immune therapy n I think sound waves will be the way to go in the future. Also I truly believe our diet plays a big role as well. So happy for you. I. Am sending. Luv. Blessings. Happy to see you are doing relatively well. I have a different kind of sarcoma and also looking into cryoablation, histotripsy and have done oncolytic virus + dc vaccine in Germany.
Oh how did it go? I would love to hear your experiences with it. Sounds like all the things I am going to be doing. Germany is just light years ahead of us. What type of sarcoma do you have?
I have Leiomyosarcoma. Have always tried to get in touch with you for some time now. I haven’t done the cryoablation and histotripsy yet. Hopefully will be flying to the US for them and also PEF on lung nodules soon. I have done surgeries, radiation and microwave ablation so far because I live in Hong Kong and they don’t offer much here. So it was a lot of traveling to Germany. I believe in oncolytic virus helping to show our immune system to tackle the tumors. So far, I wouldn’t say it is not successful but I am not ned. It has been slow growing and rather stable which I am grateful for. It has been 9 years since diagnosis. Have looked into basically most things you talk about. Good luck with your next steps!!! @@michelleniem Hi yes I do remember you reaching out. The trial that I am going to be doing is actually for leiomyosarcoma and it is called TNT (T-Vec, Nivolumab and Trabectedin). I am not supper excited about having to go on Tracbectedin since it is more in line with chemotherapy and I would have to get a port, but they said that it can turn a cold tumor environment into a hot tumor environment and recruit dendritic cells etc. I cannot do the trial without it. Maybe you could enroll in this trial as well. Feel free to message me privately if you want to talk.
@@NhiTranLee ah really, I am not really looking to go on chemo/ clinical trial right now and I can’t stay in the US as my daughter is still in her last year of school in HK. I need to be near my family. However I will pray for a successful outcome for you. I will get in touch privately soon. Not sure how to do that tho lol.
@@michelleniem yes I did not want to either but the way they explained it to me, seems not a traditional chemo at all, something given every 3 weeks as an injection but will have to have it at home for 24 hours as well hence the port and won't lose hair or anything, less side effects than the TKI drugs I was on prior. Hopefully it will work and won't need many treatments. I totally understand regarding your travel and it sounds like you are doing a lot of right treatments already. We’ve been praying for you 🙏🏻 I remember you saying that you were on a keto diet but it made me think of the research on eating for our DNA . They say we should eat whatever our mother ate when she was pregnant. Maybe you could consider this and feel better from certain foods that are liked by your DNA . 🥰
I do believe this is true since we all have some variance in terms of what we can tolerate. when I did my nutrition genome testing, it was highlighted that I can tolerate more carbs and less saturated fats, so a higher carb diet with more grains, veggies, fruits etc would benefit me more than eating a high meat diet. I have gone back to eating vegan and not limiting my carbs (I just don't eat high sugar fruits or processed carbs at all) and I am feeling great so far. All of my pain has gone away, so that's how I know it's better for me vs. eating carnivore which always made me feel worse. Will do a video on this soon.

i am from Romania and i was diagnosed with angiosarcoma in my thigh, 3 years ago.
i had chemo, radiaton and surgery, then stereotaxie for a lesion in my iliac bone, now again easy chemo for a few subcutaneous lesions.
what kind of sarcoma is yours?
I have alveolar soft part sarcoma. I hope you’re doing well. I had a lesion in my iliac bone too that was treated.

Hi, I wish that was the case and if it was possible, I would've done it since I've had the cancer. Unfortunately, I have to work to pay the bills and to take care of the kids. If I did qualify for disability and went on disability, I would not be able to afford living just by myself let alone to take care of my children as well. We would struggle much more without me working vs. me working while they are in school and spending time with them after I am done with work everyday and on the weekends. I am blessed to have a good schedule.
