Hi Nick , iv been doing what you suggested for 100 listings for 100 days , I’m up to 10 listings , although not perfect video vet , I believe in what your saying , I just woke up this morning to my first sale . I’m looking forward to working with you once I get to 50 products , my intentions are to build a comprehensive business with your help I believe I have the right products and with your consultancy I think it can happen . Thank you, Nick! This is so refreshing and solid advice. All these ‘gurus’ are probably making most of their money selling these courses instead of actually selling products in an Etsy shop (or other platforms). It’s always interesting when people in their comments ask about the shop name and they choose not to disclose that. I have no trust in these people and their inflated crazy utopian numbers. Thank you, Nick, for keeping it real!
I've noticed if you watch the "gurus" long enough you can start to see through them. They contradict themselves and each other. I appreciate your channel.
don't forget he's one of the "gurus" he just did a video calling out other gurus for deleting comments they don't agree with and then deleted my comment calling them all out for only posting these videos to make money off all of the affiliate links they are actually telling everyone to use to they get kickbacks. Everbee, Erank, all of tools they say they love. This video says there are 25 comments but many are missing way too funny.

Ha! I turned off my Etsy ads, after talking with you. I won’t turn them back on until I get my store figured out. And, of course, I turned off Etsy ads and immediately got a sale. 🤣
There is a certain unnamed guru couple who are so arrogant it makes me sick. Once I realized that they are all giving the same advice wrapped in a different package, I stopped listening to them. I always appreciated Nick actually giving good advice and not trying to sell a website that offers some SEO trick.
I wonder if we are thinking of the same couple. A certain couple was saying in their livesteam a few weeks ago that getting your shop to 100 listings was a myth and wouldn't make a difference at all lol.

I have a 24 year background online, with 7 years on Etsy. I've never met an Etsy YT guru who actually knows what the hell they are talking about.
I just left a FB group that has started going way off track with their ‘guru’! I was there for the sharing of ideas and information, and suggested one of your videos only to be slapped with a community violation.They were gatekeeping info and basically lying to their members because of their affiliations. I don’t have time for that BS but they have thousands of members in that group.
Hello, I know you are against Etsy ads when you're a new seller, but would you recommend turning on Etsy ads to gather information about what might be appealing, and making adjustments as you see and sell some products?

I wish that someone could make a COMMUNITY where Etsy Sellers share all thier best MOCKUP photo sources.
Good photos are one of the most frustrating parts of getting better at Etsy. (Sorry, off topic was just thinking out loud)

Hi Nik- thanks as always for your video. I have watched a bunch of your other ones too and was wondering how you recommend finding products that are in high demand. I ask that because I know you mentioned that online tools that show popular tags are not worth your time, so what do you recommend for finding, what people are actually searching for?
