I think based on the workload and impact required behind scribing, it makes perfect sense they focused on weapons, fighters g, mages g, soul magic, assault, and support skill lines for a total of at least 11 new skills. The math alone shows 11 skills, 3 scripts with 5-10 choices each means there could be 4000-33000 skill variations. Insane. I'm willing to bet they use the next 2 years as a test period for scribing until they tackle class skills. The following year could finish off the last universal skill lines for undaunted, vampire, werewolf, and psijic order for a total of 4 new skills. After those 2 years, I can see them tackling 1 skill per class skill line for a total of 7 per year until all 3 skill lines are complete. This tactic is what they've used for Tales of Tribute, Companions, and Mythics where every year they add to those systems beyond what they did at launch for free. I'm all for it and can't wait for the possibilities to come. The inclusion of skill styling is very cool and unexpected from them, I'm happy to hear it could lead to pet skins (remodels hopefully). So tired of Sorcs Flappy Bird.
I’m happy to see it. I’m expecting some nostalgia vibes as Oblivion was the one that got me into Elder Scrolls and I played that game for so many hours!
Tbh I wish the scribing system was only for class skills, not the other way around. With hybrids basically gutting this games build diversity, viability, op play styles etc, them making the skills of classes only change would have been awesome to dip into class identity. Necro is literally going to be the class that just uses all these new scribe skills bc their base kit is so bad 😂
I definitely hope character abilities join the scribing list. Would love to make some character abilities customized. Also, I have a feeling the "new" pvp format will include companions. The fact they now don't arrive until Q4 and with a new pvp has me thinking they'll be involved.
The only reason companions are going into Q4 is so the team can focus on the chapter, quests & zone is what they said about it, adding companions and their stories etc takes away some resources.
I only pre bought the new chapter for the non-combat pet crow that comes with it !! I asked for crows as non combat pet for alot of times now, 2 tickets and 1 post in forum they really had to make it included in the chapter pre buying T.T goddam I'm poor, now I'm even more poor
9:02... Ok. Looking at things outside of the "honeymoon phase". Yes this is a good starting block for customization but let's look at history. 1. Has ZoS added any new BGs after they put it out in 2015? 2. Have they added more cards for the card game? 3. Have they added any new weapons? 4. Have they created a new way to dog up those leads? These systems are good... But they make a system and never really change/add to it. And everyone says "yes this is good, but will be even better when they add more to it". The situation is that most players wait and forget they are waiting for the next step. So I see they add these new colors/slight change to some abilities but with the track record ZoS has, that might be it P.S - I don't want to be that downer.. but being more realistic
What you’ve said is fair, the game has grown and added a lot of systems over the years and I guess some of them have slipped down the order of importance. ToT has had new cards added multiple times since launch and the lead system has remained the same but with many new leads added so they continue to make use of those fairly often. Adding new weapons is something I’m surprised hasn’t happened, with many potential options and new BG maps is something I would have expected to see yearly when that gamemode was added. Hopefully now with the fact we have “lost” a zone DLC + Dungeon DLC in place of the new Q3 & Q4 DLCs we’ll get that focus on completion and addition to the things players want.
@TheTankClub a wand or a type of focus like an orb or something And spell tomes I mean you are playing with books already might as well let us cast from them
U do know devs have said they didn't make eso for pvp so that's not there main focus yes ur getting a pvp update but devs really don't care about pvp it's role-playing and casual play u will see big changes too eso wasn't made just for pvp
I don't play PvP but its a large part of the game with a big portion of players enjoying that content, so it's only in the best interest of the game to have regular features and content to support that.
seems a bit content light to be honest.... i do hope the new housing and pvp feateures are something big but i doubt it otherwise they would have pushed it more in the foreground
Housing must be a big deal if they are being so tight-lipped about it. Mystery creates more hype than informing players. It's basically saying "Whatever you think it is, it's going to be even better." Otherwise, they would have just told us. By hinting at it and having people's imaginations go wild, it would be a disaster if it isn't a GREAT new feature.
@@zenwilds2911 my gut tells me they are tight lipped because its something small and dont want to stirr up a discussion...i do hope its somerhing big and else to do in your house to have a reason to go there but doubt it...i also hope the pvp update is big but doubt it...
i can see the content creators will be telling everyone the best way to scribe your weapons so everyone will be running around with the same thing anyway smiles
Yeah I mean we'll likely discover some fantastic options that will be some of the "Go to" scribed abilities but a system with 4000 possible combinations gives some player freedom to do a lot of different things
A plantable garden for growing alchemy materials, and a fishing pond would be fantastic for player housing, in my opinion.
I wouldn’t mind a level 50 token and shared riding over all characters.

Furniture bag?
Im new and when u talk about dlc is that something u need to purchase seperately or if u buy goldroad is that included?
Here to support the homie
Skingrad was my favorite city in Oblivion, glad to see ZoS is finally adding it to ESO.
I’m happy to see it. I’m expecting some nostalgia vibes as Oblivion was the one that got me into Elder Scrolls and I played that game for so many hours!
which one was that one daedra boss that was so hard in some quest when the game launched that hardly anyone could get passed by it, cant remember

I think they're gonna add Dimmers to in-game lights :)
Do you know if there will be more than one base skill per skill line? Will be bow scribe skill only be the backflip one?
I think it will be just 1 skill that you can scribe for each skill line but all weapons and world skills will have one
Yeah Buddy! 🎉 😎🤘
Dueling tournaments with ranking?
Support support :D

Ooooo what if it’s an increased item limit for housing/decor
Custom vampire skills?
People have a new prince to simp over too. Nocturnal might still be number 1 though.

@@TheTankClub my two MMOs is ESO and SWTOR. I think they are very underrated but have their flaws still. It is about realistic expectations
Do i still have to play the story with every new character?
You don’t have to, it’s optional.
For the love of batman give use new magic weapons as well as gauntlets so we can punch stuff
What magic weapon would you like to see?
Magicka based gauntlets.

Pvp version of the archive.
These skills sound like an annoying grind to get them, probably gotta do it on every character if you have more than one
In an faq, they said they were leaning towards making them account wide
@@Hippo_27 that's good
I hate puzzles…as son as I get to one I TH-cam how to solve it and that in itself is annoying.
I really hate them also!
Same.
Puzzles should be for side quests.
Armor and weapons still look dogshit, same with some of the characters models.
gonna keep Passing.
