I would love to come and visit French Brocantes!! I love collecting antique teacups!!! I could spend hours watching you unpack your treasures, as opposed to watching influencers unbox bags full of fast fashion!!
Your teacup finds are stunning! What a way to elevate any hot drink. One of my favorite finds from Goodwill is a large Limoges platter with a small chip on the underside. It doesn't affect the use at all (hard to find the chip) and because the platter was so inexpensive ($2 USD) I use it all the time.....it hangs behind my stove ever at the ready.
Those are beautiful. My wedding china is Limoges. I use it as much as possible. Somehow, tea tastes better from a thin porcelain cup than in a mug. I can't explain why
Love to antique shop and have several complete sets of beautiful dinnerware. Also I inherited a limoges luncheon set from my Great Aunt which I treasure! Your tea cups are a special find!!
The pink cups and saucers are my favorite. Perhaps curling up on your comfortable chair in the tower would also provide a magical spot for pondering and sipping a warm brew of your favorite tea.
Love both sets. I started collecting teacups at 16. When I downsized my home I sold the collection to a mother for her daughter wedding shower. Mom I collected teacups since I was 16. Old and vintage. I sold them all when I downsized to a small house. The women that bought them gave one set to all the guests at her daughter wedding shower. Love both sets. 🎉
Hello from Norway ! What a bargain !!! 🥂🍾 I would gladly have paid €20 just for one set ! (Cup and saucer). The single cup set looks like it's decorated with natural purple. If so, I'd have paid €50 - €70 for it. The pink flowers are geraniums. My father, now 94, used to grow them. Both light pink and vermillion (orangy red) ones. He would plant them together, and his flowerbeds looked like they had been designed by YSL or Kenzo ! 😘
I was blessed with a beautiful limoges small bowl....it us used every Sunday for family dinner with family...I always smile as I pull it from the cupboard
Absolutely lovely! I just added to my antique Rosenthal china set. It was inherited from my great aunt, her wedding china from 1927. I have spent years completing the set. This week I found 5 demitasse and a covered casserole dish. I love older China patterns. There is nothing to compare to cafe or tea in a bone china cup with a saucer, IMO of course! 😺😺😺🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲☕☕🍵🍵 Love hearing about your new finds and your new home as well as French chic! 💕💕🐾🐾
Bonjour MarieAnne, I fell in love with the "square " sausers and the beautifull coffeecups...wow. I imagine having two friends over and having a coffee with self baked cookies and having a chat in the morning sun...Kindest regards and have a nice day from the Netherlands. I really love your channels!
These are beautiful! I lived the pink flowers and square shape of the saucers. I recently picked up some Limoges double handled teacups, matching saucers, and snack plates in Haviland pattern from a thrift store. They were super cheap, costing $0.99-1.99 for each piece! It was a steal. I’m really excited to see the transformation of your new home. Thanks for sharing.
My wedding china is a delicate pink Limoges set! I found it under a table at an antique shop in Sewickley, PA (Pittsburgh.). Full service for 8, plus platters, covered bowls and the handles on the lids are bows. So much detail! It goes back to the very late 1800s. My mom and I bought it, it was sooooo underpriced! The shop owner had just gotten it in the day before and hadn't even unboxed it yet. I smile every day when I see it. The china is almost pearlescent. Really enjoyed seeing your finds! Love your channels!
Hello Marie-Anne, Hope you are well. The teacup sets are so lovely. If I had to choose a favorite the one with the pink flowers is amazing, so delicate. I have a Limoges candy dish that I cherish. Thank you for sharing. They looked wonderful in your refurbished buffet.Best to you always. lol
Bonjour Marie-Anne, How beautiful your teacups and saucers are. The red one is absolutely stunning, so richly coloured and decorated. It would be my favourite. But I also like the flowered set, and the squared off saucers are so unique. I have no Limoges porcelain, but I do have a number of bone china teacups (and other pieces) from England, and I firmly believe tea tastes better when prepared in a china teapot and drunk from a china teacup!
If you like porcelain and are in London, go behind Selfridges to the Wallace Collection Museum. It has Limoges enamel, Sevres porcelain, French furniture, books, sculpture, armour and many beautiful paintings by the masters. It's free, too!
Oh I adore the three pieces. The details are exquisite. I have a limoges jewelry trinket box. It was my mother's and is one of my most treasured pieces
Your porcelain is so luxurious, making each use special! Truly works of art. I love the flowers for Spring and Summer. The gold and maroon is gorgeous for Autumn and Winter, especially around the holidays!
I really like the unusual saucer shape too. They’re all lovely. I changed out my dinnerware to some plain white China. I love drinking coffee from the cup/saucer rather than mug.
Both types of cups are beautiful ! 😍 But my top favourites are the ones with square-ish saucers ! 🤗 When you handeled them I could almost feel how lightweight they are, and I said to myself, actually before you pointed it out : " Those are see-through !" Pluss of course, I love flowers, and those pink geraniums are so lovely !
How beautiful! I have some exquisite China and sterling silver place settings. Sadly, my daughters in law aren’t interested in having them. If it can’t go in the the dish washer or if it has to be polished, non, merci! Like you I get great pleasure looking at my things, especially China, silver, and crystal I have inherited. Such lovely memories. Thank you, mon amie, Sandra
This was a lovely video! I was so exited when you were unwrapping the little treasures. What a beautiful set! I would love to see more of your brocante finds. You have an exquisite taste and it goes far beyond clothes!
I love both styles. Some friends and myself have done several vintage tea parties and enjoy going to thrift stores and Goodwills. I once found a beautiful Limoges cup and saucer set at a small boutique style Goodwill. I use some of these finds as give away gifts to friends and family after a party. This was a fun video, thank you, I hope to see more!
I love your tea cup sets, I have a collection of vintage/antique cups and saucers but mine are all English Bone China. Properly made tea (from leaves not bags!) tastes wonderful from them. Now I see your beautiful sets, I must now seek out Porcelaine de Limoges and add a set (or 2 😄) to my collection. They're gorgeous and all the detailing just makes it so French and so chic. Thank you for sharing, more please! I could watch this all day long. Best wishes Martine xx
Beautiful pieces, I love porcelain and china. We have a full set of Royal Albert China tea set, coffee set, dinner service with serving dishes. I started to collect it when we married 50 years ago and it took us 2 years to find every piece. It's my favourite gift ever from my husband.
Limoges is a French company. We have a lot in the US that is stamped but without France stamped on it. Beautiful find!! Love it. Definitely my cup of tea.
My mother loved Limoge and had several pieces. They were absolutely beautiful. She passed three years ago with Alzheimer’s and sadly I have discovered that when a person has that lots of things go missing and the Limoge was a casualty of that.
Lovely tea cups and saucers. I think the rose set would be lovely any day of the week and for special "teas". The maroon set is very elegant, formal. That would not prevent me from using it for a simple cup of tea and a cookie. Both of my grandmothers had tea cup and saucer collections. I have a collection.
The tea cups are so beautiful and elegant! I love both designs. I had a dear friend who collected antique tea cups sadly she passed away a year ago but I have one from her collection, pink, gold and flowers. I don’t use it but enjoying looking at it and think of her.
I love Limoge ...I have a set of dinnerware my grandfather brought back after the war...Wedding Band...very simple and elegant...I have added many serving pieces over the years...the hunt for them is so much fun!!!!😍
I loved the floral set, because I collect floral tea cup sets myself 😊 the other cup and saucer are also very classy! I have some Royal Albert and Royal Standard, only one of each because they are so expensive even though I got them on ebay and etsy 😀. But I should go to resale shops here in the US and look for better prices. But sometimes if you keep looking on ebay and etsy you can find good prices from people who maybe just want to get rid of them if they don't want them... Thank you for educating us on what to look for in porcelain 🙂
I love them both 💗 I don’t have any Limoges cups but I do have some porcelain pieces. I make tra every afternoon and drink out of one of my pretty tea cups. So much fun 🤩
It's a real pleasure to watch you presenting beautiful stuff, you're really in love and your enthusiasm is contagious. I imagined how to use those beautiful cups with their matching saucers, may be serve a delicious soup as appetizer, or a dessert like for instance a lovely cream or mousse with a self made biscuit on the saucer and of course a delicious coffee or espresso ... what's my favourite? Well I'd love each, depending of my daily mood 😅
Oh Marie-Anne, what a beautiful delicate set of cups and saucers from a renowned maker, I can just imagine having a lovely cup of tea in one of those, I loved them all equally, I am a fairly new subscriber to your channel and am loving it all. Fond wishes from UK
Oooh la la that Limoges burgundy and gold cup and saucer is gorgeous! Limoges China is my favorite have a set from my mom💜💜and a tea cup collection from my travels. Tell us about your family
So beautiful! I have just a few porcelaine de Limoges trinket boxes, which I collected over the years. It’s sad that, nowadays, the fine porcelain pieces are not considered practical (i.e., not microwave safe or dishwasher safe) for today’s lifestyle. But how delightful to sip tea from one of those beautiful cups! Thank you for sharing your brocante adventures with us.
We inherited a Limoges set from my husband’s parents. It is cream with gold around the rim. His grandmother had some one paint “M’s in gold on the plates. 😍
The white cups and saucers with the pink flowers are absolutely gorgeous!! I would have been tempted too :) The red and gold one is also beautiful. We have 2 Limoges china dinner "services", first the Limoges Haviland Vieux Paris (wedding gift), and the other was my parents,' white with dainty gold flowers "sprinkled" over the dishes, plates, soupiere, etc. I don't know the name because the Limoges stamps doesn't have it but I could be from the early 50's. Both are very special to me. Thank you for sharing your wonderful finds with us!
Beautiful china. I love the floral designs. For some reason I only have some Royal Albert pieces from the 70s - they were my mother's. Would love to have some Limoges pieces.
My prize possessions are my Mother's hand-painted fish plates by Limoges. They've come down in the family, and I hope I can find more in Paris this summer!
Oh I loved the white with pink flowers 🌸 So gorgeous! My mother in law gave me something very similar with Gold rim and beautiful flowers on the side of the delicate cup. On the bottom of the cup it reads Crown Regal, fine porcelain, made in Romania.
Lovely! I like the second set, so dainty. I just bought a set of Theodore Haviland Limoges (in Massachusetts) but cannot find the production date. I'm using as an every day treat, no more saving for special occasions.
You can have it authenticated for free at Replacements Center, in NC. I did! I did it in person but I bet you could contact them from anywhere in the world with photos and they could do it.
Treasures!! Lovely💖 both, but I prefer the three cups/saucers. I like how the gold was applied only in places around the rim and the shape. I recently cleaned and organized my Mother’s china cabinet, she had some beautiful pieces from Czecha-Slovakia, Austria and a RheineKrone Mocha Set from Bavaria.
Beautiful find on your teacups and saucers. I love both patterns as they are so different. Hard to choose. I have several teacups and saucers I have collected over the years but they are English bone china. Maybe someday I could find some from France. I just love your new house.
Those are so very beautiful! My favorite? Oh it has to be the set of three… The shape is so usual, and I adore the scalloped edge! Although the red and gold is certainly magnificent too. I have a small collection of beautiful tea cups and saucers which I inherited. Drinking tea or coffee in a beautiful cup and saucer elevates it to something so special! I am too much in the habit of drinking my daily coffee in a pretty mug. You have reminded me of my cups and saucers, and I am going to start using them again. I just checked, and I do have one cup and saucer set which is Limoges, the others are English. Plus I have a set of four or 5 cups and saucers which are Limoges but kind of an ordinary pattern. But they are very thin and translucent so that is nice. :)
Exquisite! I especially love the floral pattern..... I just discovered this, your other channel, Marie-Anne (I'm a longtime viewer of your French Chic channel). I suspect I'll be kept busy watching your videos here for several days!
I would love to come and visit French Brocantes!! I love collecting antique teacups!!! I could spend hours watching you unpack your treasures, as opposed to watching influencers unbox bags full of fast fashion!!
I can do more Tami 😃
The single teacup is stunning 😍
There is no way to choose between the beautiful patterns. Just stunning!
🤗
Your finds are amazing! Do not hesitate to take us along whenever you go shopping at a brocante.

Lovely!! Both sets are beautiful, but oh my, the pink flowers/square saucers are stunning! So enjoyable, please show us more any time!
I will try Bev xx
Your teacup finds are stunning! What a way to elevate any hot drink. One of my favorite finds from Goodwill is a large Limoges platter with a small chip on the underside. How lovely QT - a lot of my antique crockery has little chips and cracks - it is all part of the charm 🤗

The burgandy and gold. Gorgeous!
Love to antique shop and have several complete sets of beautiful dinnerware. Also I inherited a limoges luncheon set from my Great Aunt which I treasure! Your tea cups are a special find!!
Dainty and gorgeous 💕
The red and gold set took my breath away 💕
That cup and saucer have gorgeous colors. Burgundy and gold go together very well.
Lovely treasures, Marie-Anne, looking forward to seeing them in a Spring table-scape.
The pink cups and saucers are my favorite. Perhaps curling up on your comfortable chair in the tower would also provide a magical spot for pondering and sipping a warm brew of your favorite tea.
that tea set with pink flowers is so beautiful Marie Anne!
So beautiful! Excellent find! 👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Absolutely gorgeous! Love both...depending on the day and mood! Teatime in style!

Incredibly beautiful dishes! And so suitable for your home!
I was blessed with a beautiful limoges small bowl....it us used every Sunday for family dinner with family...I always smile as I pull it from the cupboard
I'm usually drawn to flowers but the darker one is my favorite.
Me too. It's simply outstanding. But the others are a delight in a different way.
Love the porcelain, couldn't choose between them! The glaze on old pieces is so superior. Enjoy your channels ❤️
Beautiful tea cups and saucers. I love antiques.
Absolutely lovely! I just added to my antique Rosenthal china set. It was inherited from my great aunt, her wedding china from 1927. I have spent years completing the set. I love the floral set. I am moving this year, so I plan on doing some antique shopping for my new home.
Happy hunting Marion 😃
Fabulous everything is so delicate
The square saucer sets are my favorite! Just lovely! I like the gold dust on the cup right where your lips would go-like a lipstick mark only better.
💋
I have a small collection of Limoges plates which I love. My favorite of your finds are the ones with the pink geraniums! So pretty.
🤗
You bought that for €20. ??? That must be a part of the century!! Way to go Marianne. Artistry involved it's so lovely. And amazing wow wow wow
It was a find for sure Joy 😃
Adore the floral teacups! Time for a trip to the patisserie.
🥐
I loved all the peices
Beautiful pieces, I love porcelain and china.
We have a full set of Royal Albert China tea set, coffee set, dinner service with serving dishes. I started to collect it when we married 50 years ago and it took us 2 years to find every piece.
It's my favourite gift ever from my husband.
What a lovely tradition Sue ❤️
Limoges is a French company. We have a lot in the US that is stamped but without France stamped on it. Beautiful find!! Love it. Definitely my cup of tea.

Absolutely stunning! They will make teatime extra special. I only have Royal Albert tea set ❤️
Royal Albert is gorgeous Yvonne x
Love the tea cups.
My mother loved Limoge and had several pieces. They were absolutely beautiful. She passed three years ago with Alzheimer’s and sadly I have discovered that when a person has that lots of things go missing and the Limoge was a casualty of that.
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mother Suzanne 🙏
Lovely tea cups and saucers. I think the rose set would be lovely any day of the week and for special "teas". The maroon set is very elegant, formal. The tea cups are so beautiful and elegant! I love both designs. I had a dear friend who collected antique tea cups sadly she passed away a year ago but I have one from her collection, pink, gold and flowers. I don’t use it but enjoying looking at it and think of her.
