That’s the problem, it’s beyond 99% of the viewers. It’s why Malcolm and the bush tucker man are still Australia’s best explorers. They did it with bugger all
Recently had this issue in my patrol, oil from k and n got into maf sensor and stuffed it up, have just gone back to a stock filter now however I just have a safari type snorkel and will never get a stainless!
@@stevenjalopnik1342 it was the same dyno machine. But they obviously went for bigger results with the 79 series. Back In Black is 293hp at the wheels and almost 1000nm, compared to 200hp and 630nm for this 200 series. I know which one I'd pick.
Greg Stuchley it will be completely void with all the mods that have been done but if you can afford to blow $250k odd building a brand new truck you can afford a $20k repair if something major craps itself.
That's a 50% increase compared to standard, but still, Back In Black would eat it alive. It was 293hp at the wheels and almost 1000nm. This 200 series is 200hp and 650nm.
Mad Max that's at the crank with stock 29" tyres too. Put 35"s on it and dyno it and you will find its probably around half the stated factory figures.
Fully sick . I can only dream of this , a rig beyond cool

Why not a Amax safari snorkel? You can put the pre cleaners on them. That oiled airfilter will oil up your maf sensor

I just put the same throttle controler in my 79 yesterday what a difference
Looking forward to the finished product 👌🏻
The battle of the chopped 200's. Let the pissing contest begin.
Great stuff. How will the driveline handle this extra power Jase? Steve
Hey Jas are you going to take this new 200 to the Glasshouse for its shakedown run? 😉😆
Coming together nicely though
9s is the h
I think every was keen for this one
Had an oil filter on my car & blocked up really quick with dust & hard to clean.
Thanx mate
Are you worried about the lights blocking the airflow at all
What are your thoughts on bull bar mounted spot lights restricting airflow through the front grill - and affecting cooling?
Very very nice 👌 I reckon you shoud go with a light bar up the front so you dont have as big of air flow restriction
Seems counterproductive to restrict the air intake to the intercooler with spotties. Why not put a bonnet scoop straight to the intercooler??
Is the lock up converter there own. Intresting to see that your not using Torqit gear
Do you guys do regearing because you are on 35s?
Is it normal for the 79 series to have 900 N.m but the 200 is only just over 600 N.m?
It depends on the dyno. Dynos are really only useful to compare before and after. You can’t compare figures between different dynos

Hey Jason love the build would you look at converting the 200 series to a coil front end like the 79 series cheers Darren
Definitely cool but out of reach for most of your average punters.
Loving it
wow that's nice and good explanation.
Spot on Jase bigger is better,i run a 5" snorkel on my 7.3 ltr F250 and a 5" exhaust, heaps of air in and out turbo diesels love it..
Not a good filter option if used in dusty environments
With all of these upgrades how does this effect the Toyota warranty?

@@baron30001 i stress more thinking how much it would be to insure.
it is a oil based air filter
Throw a spare tail shaft in the back
Why not so powerful for V8 diesel
Toyota mate
I wanna have this in Tanzania🇹🇿
200hp is that a joke

Interheater more like when They are on the top of the engine
You know when a Aussie is gone is calling a ute a truck. Here go to USA boy.
Ford Ranger 4 cylinder 2L Bi-turbo diesel is 157Kw (210 HP) 500 N.m no mods.
Mad Max that's at the crank with stock 29" tyres too. Put 35"s on it and dyno it and you will find its probably around half the stated factory figures.
Yea its actually performing poorly considering all the mods haha
Yeah I'm no expert but is it normal for a v8 tubo diesel to have such low numbers?
You're talking about turning 30 inch tyres on 2 wheels where this is constant allwheel drive with 35 inch tyres and weighs like 1.5T more
The ranger figures are at the engine, not the wheels, and this 200 is at all 4 wheels, not just the rears.
Sick build second comment stay safe everyone
Literally looks like it’s worth $300,000 lol
😁😎👊👍😚👌💯🤙!!
