There are many uproarious Shreds videos, but I believe this is the best. It follows all of the "rules" of Shreds-making, but gives you more: much more (a la Spinal Tap). This is catastrophically hilarious: with crazy laser beam sounds, brain-stomping bass, Daltrey's "Exorcist" improv, Townshend dancing like a constipated Michael Flatley or drunken Les Claypool, & Moon's incoherent pounding moving the whole "piece" forward. I cracked 4 pairs of ribs, laughing.
I play guitar, keyboards and sing.my bands used to hack up songs for fun on rehersals.i almost brake a rib laughing everytime i watch this.great job dubbing..
They were really way out man. Back in 67, saw them when they were called The Them and can say, they were groovin something really experimental for the time. I am just glad someone captured them here at the height of the experience so it can last a lifetime evermore eternally! That pinnacle came to a point that was like not having a point to the epic peak. Ride on!
oh my... few weeks ago i watched shred videos the whole day and was laughing over and over again till delirium. i dont know the last time i had so much fun, those videos just awesome and the who version is one of the best :)
There are many uproarious Shreds videos, but I believe this is the best. It follows all of the "rules" of Shreds-making, but gives you more: much more (a la Marty DiBergi). This is catastrophically hilarious, especially 1:54-2:50, with crazy laser beam sounds, brain-stomping bass, Daltrey's "Exorcist" improv, Townshend dancing like a constipated Michael Flatley or drunken Les Claypool, & Moon's incoherent pounding moving the whole "piece" forward. I cracked 4 pairs of ribs, laughing. Bravissimo!
I showed this to my dad some years ago afer I had just had 5 teeth removed and we laughed so hard it started bleeding again. The blood ran down my face but we couldn't stop laughing so hard. Had completely forgotten this existed!
I would love to live in a world where the best bands sounded like this. Just imagine, with the knowloedge of three chords you could be that world's greatest music genius.
Still one of the funniest things I've ever seen. whoever did this must have taken ages...really good shred....Petes 'dancing' always gives me a hernia...lol
I love Pete’s tap dancing!! It’s brilliant!

This absolutely shredded my shred radar. Pete Townsend was a beast that night. His acrobatics nearly outshone his playing.
The tap dancing at the beginning literally killed me. Now I'm dead. Thanks a lot.
Oh jeez, I'm freaking dying here. This is the funniest thing on the internet.
Oh God! That bass line along with Townshend jigging all over the place! I can't take it!
OMG! Pete dancing with the tambourine brought tears to my eyes.
This is the hardest shred I've seen on you tube so far
That was great. The tap dancing at the beginning was a nice touch.
The tap dancing by Pete at the beginning is just genius.
pete's voice at the "don't cry" part....I'm sorry pete, but I'm crying! this is hilarious!

Pete Townshend shakes the tambourine like a boss!

Will anything ever make me laugh as hard as this has? Pure genius!
Thank you for the hardest sustained laugh I have had since I saw Borat.
Oh man this really is too funny ! My band covers this song quite well, but it's great humour to hear this version. Well done !
This is beyond hilarious!
Ohhh fuck, I had to stop halfway through from laughing XD
I know, right??
i had to pause it 30 secs in
This may be music...but its more than that...its art, passion, fury.....unbelievable swirling emotions...
You really made me cry. With pure joy.
I almost pissed myself when the laser guns started firing! So funny!
I haven't laughed that that in some time... thank you to whoever did this!
Ribs cracked from too much laughter...can't breathe!!
this starts sounding like some genuine 70s New York NO WAVE towards the middle
Tears literally came from my eyes I' laughed so hard. Kept laughing 1/2 way through dinner. The wife and kids think I'm nuts.
Dear christ I'm running low on Aspirin! Got a headache I laughed so hard but I've been to the chemist so I can watch some more!!
Haaaaaa love it, never heard the who sound so good!!!!
Ha ha ha! Alot better than some of the other recent shreds. Good job!
I would love to live in a world where the best bands sounded like this. Just imagine, with the knowloedge of three chords you could be that world's greatest music genius.
I laughed so hard piss came out my nose when the vocals came in.
Still one of the funniest things I've ever seen. whoever did this must have taken ages...really good shred....Petes 'dancing' always gives me a hernia...lol
WIN!! The cheezy drum machine sounds for Keith Moon are the best!

Absolutely hilarious. Loved the bit where Pete Townshend sings. I nearly died laughing then. Hahahahahaha
Can't last more than 30-40 seconds on this video. It's killing me in horrible, laughing and crying, ways
This is amazing as well as p.i.s.s. they're all amazing
this is what I truly heard everytime I had to listen to
Perhaps this is the real reason why The Who broke up in 1983?
909 drums xD
Best pants on the internet. Go ahead and watch it again just for the pants.
I can't take it. 😂😂 I'm dying. This is gold.
perfectly acceptable King Crimson that......

Funniest video I have ever seen. A master class in shredding.
A week later and my abs still ache from laughing. Daltrey's "voice" . . . X^D
this is the best shred video on youtube
I had tears in my eyes by 1:54. That is some seriously funny shit.
Have you watched the new Rolling Stones one by StS? Its definitely amazing as well : )
The beginning of the song makes me think of You Wear it Well by DeBarge!
this is the finest performance in the history of rock and roll
I lost it at 3.21 - Roger's high-pitched gibberish, then "Oh Yeah" in the Honey Monster's voice. Fuck, this so funny.
Daltrey sounds like the lead singer of Yat Kha.
My wife over heard me listening to this on my phone and asked "is that hendrix?" Lmfao!!!
These guys were the fathers of death metal. Way ahead of their time!
the tap dancing is amazing.
The tambourine work is genious
This aggravated my dogs.
And that is how he earned the nickname, " Tappin Townshend".
This should be how your "Immortal," video sounds.
I laughed until I nearly shit myself, especially on the bit with Pete tap dancing.
Unshredded: completely awesome.
Shredded: completely hilarious.
