The other thing from the trailer was that she was wearing her super suit in the scene with Daredevil. So, I haven’t been expecting him until she’s accepted the idea of wearing it. In the meantime, I think Jessica Gao would fight pretty hard to include Hate-Monger in this particular show considering the themes of it. So, the moment we got introduced to a Josh, I’ve been expecting the Hate.
I'm taking this show for what marvel says it is: a commedy. I'm enjoying every single episode and I'm having fun without wait for a big plot that throw this in the multimarvelverse or horned cameos to appear. it's simply a commedy and I really like it ;)
For being 30 minutes long, and a short season, they have sprinkled their clues GLORIOUSLY. A common complaint out in the twitterverse is, "we don't know what the overarching plot is!"... when we foreshadowed it with Bruce's theatrics in destroying her blood samples after they been analyzed and Jen commenting, "thats a bit much". Then in episode 3, we get The Wrecking Crew specifically trying to get her blood... at that point we know what the overarching theme is... someone is trying to get her blood. But here's where I think they are actually going above and beyond. What happens in episode 2? She gets her shiny knew job. So far, Jen has expressed that she wants nothing to do with being She-Hulk but this shiny new job demands it of her. As it's first act, it puts her in proximity to Abomination... Episode 3, ends with The Wrecking Crew angling for her blood. 4 we have the tinder dates, and Mr. Scarf's super scientific curiosity... who pops back up in episode 5... this is important he's her firm's BIGGEST CLIENT! I'm betting he orchestrated her job offer, in order to; more easily, keep tabs on her and have access. The 6 is the wedding, and who would know Jen was going to that wedding? HR... when she puts in her notice for time off in the middle of the week. Also with enough notice to plant Josh and surveillance equipment. Also, when Mallory finds the Intelligencia stuff, she tries to knock Nikki off the trail, and tries to persuade her against telling Jen, almost like she was protecting a client. Bringing us to now, of course. I think the big twist is going to be that her firm has been a part of the plot to steal her blood, from the very beginning. Ooh! And Matt's there to help her tear down the entire firm! That we now have two episodes for. We have been wondering this whole time, "What would bring Matt to LA?" A law firm aiding Supervillains would do it. I think when viewed as a binge watch, She-Hulk is going to be one of the strongest series in the MCU...
@@Multiversetraveler93 Serasin(?) tossing out the on character, "Maybe he wanted your blood", led directly to Wrecker waving him off and shush'ing... You don't think that was a thing? Because that was clearly a thing.

Noticed some empathy during the Jen therapy session. Then they pulled the trigger with "okay, screw this guy" and all the tension is lifted. Great writing, great directing, great acting, esp from a certain She-Hulk.
You both made a good point about Titania and Josh both being at the wedding last episode. It doesn't prove a connection, but it raises the possibility. By the way, nice thunderclap, guys!
This was another very good episode. I really enjoyed the explorations of the tribulations of dating. And the therapy session at the retreat was quite fun. And I feel that for me the twist at the end hit harder since the series has been so lighthearted and fun so far.
Pretty sure daredevil is going to help her out in the last two episodes with all this going on with whoever got her blood sample. She's going to need all the help she can get
Nice reaction. Hmm could it be that the green face with a crown is Kingpin wanting some hulk size power? He's the criminal type to hire someone just to sleep with her and get anything he could want besides the blood. Like any extra info she may have on her phone from cases she's working on. Kingpin would exploit. The photo part I think was just extra proof of how he obtained the blood and info. Could even be he's working for multiple people. Since he only text about the blood and not the cell info. Or was it possible that he was deleting the info on her phone to erase his tracks. Just a thought.
Just wanted to compliment you both on your reactions, and yes,I always watch the episode first and then see your reactions after. This was a little flat with no title screen,no post credits scene,so they must be building up for the last two. Gonna miss Thunderclap Thursdays ( Brought to you by Wendy). Looking forward to the penultimate shows! Thanks Wendy and Dustin!
If the plan was for Josh to just get her blood as just Jen, why did they still create a bigger needle that supposedly breaks through She-Hulk's skin? Imagine if that bigger needle is later revealed to be made of Adamantium? It would be such a quick throw-away line, but one that would set the internet on fire, LOL!
Depending on you count this is the third or fourth time mention vampires the first was in Thor ragnorak the second would be loki Unless you count blade himself talking at the end of eternals.
I definitely think there is more to the therapy group than what we saw here. The Wrecking Crew member not only failed to mention someone wanting her blood, he specifically shut the idea down and changed the subject when the idea was brought up. Blonsky's tracker had a malfunction from electricity, which is what El Aguila's mutant powers generate. The group collectively got her to delete and move on from Josh, meaning she would no longer pursue him and potentially discover his secret.
At first I thought that Josh was the HulkKing, but it turns out that he was texting _to_ HulkKing. I still think General "Thunderbolt" Ross could be considered as a suspect 🤨🤔. He hounded Bruce for a long time, wanted to weaponize the Hulk/The Hulk's blood, but his plans got derailed when he gave Emil Blonsky that imperfect/incomplete Super Soldier Serum and, mixed with Bruce's blood, created "an abomination" as Samuel Sterns put it 🤔. The Abomination vs The Hulk incident in Harlem most likely canceled out any of his opportunities/chances of him getting to do that, but, Jennifer Walters becoming She-Hulk gave the opportunistic vermin another chance cause more problems 🤨😓, and *_all of a sudden_* be the _"solution"_ a faker, a phony, an utter *fraud* 😠😡.
I keep thinking that the Wakanda Forever withholding of Vibranium, because it's used for neferious purposes, leads to the development of synthetic Vibranium, aka Tony Stark research, arc reactor core element he created. Which they then call Atomantium in the MCU.
I think you're wrong about this episode this is a setup for a more serious problem with most likely the Leader is the boss that want to be the Hulk King which mean he need Hulks to rule over and Jen's blood will provide it. The Leader can provide the Red Hulk, Super Titania or a super Wrecking Crew.
That group with Emil is very sus and think theres more to that!! The last 2 episodes are gonna be interesting!! I think there was a reason why they wanted her to be in Jen form and who really is Josh 👀
This episode was great! I love Tatiana Mansley! She's an amazing actress, and I think the cast members are doing a great job. However, in my opinion, the first episode was okay. It was a bit hallmarky and the topics were on the nose, but it was pretty enjoyable, 7/10. The second episode was better, the Wolverine easter egg, and seeing Abomination was great, but the pacing was off, 8/10. The third episode had better pacing, the jokes were better, 8.5/10. The fourth episode was very anticlimactic, the only thing that was good to me was the action scene with She-Hulk & Wong, 7.5/10. The fifth one was good, but it wasn't spectacular, 8.5/10. Last week's episode, I had mix feelings with it. It wasn't completely boring, it was just okay, 8/10. This episode was definitely a 9/10. I like the fact that we get to have a character study with Jen as She-Hulk. It was so satisfying. I would say, I'm glad that the Wreaking Crew leader had a small redemption as well lol. But I do wish he explained why he did attacked her. He could of said it was an anonymous message or something. Regardless, I really hope the last two episodes are just as good as this one. I don't hate this show, but I feel like it could of started off a little bit stronger. Regardless, curious to hear you two's thoughts! 🙏🏽💪👏
Jen actually letting her walls down and being vulnerable with Blonsky’s group is my favorite dramatic scene of the show. When she talked about how she felt like she was cheating by being able to turn into She-Hulk and wanted to find a guy that liked her for both Jen and She-Hulk I wanted to reach through that broken 4th wall, give her a hug and tell her we all love both versions of her. And I love that (so far) it looks like Blonsky actually has reformed, which is something I wish happened more in comics and on screen adaptations, reformed bad guys don’t NEED to become superheroes, they can live regular lives like actual ex cons. But I have to be fair and critical and say that not only did I hate that the only guy on the show she has dated the seemed like a really nice guy is actually a bad guy, I REALLY a hate that trope. And there is absolutely no reason why she didn’t ask that guy at the resort who hired him and his crew to attack Jen. They could’ve written that he told her he was hired anonymously and has no idea who they are, which would make Jen be more cautious.
It's totally going to be The Leader and lead into the events of Captain America: New World Order, which I think She-Hulk and Abomination will be a part of. The events of New World Order will also tie into the events of Thunderbolts. As an overall arc, I think we are seeing the formation of the Masters of Evil, who will play a part in Secret Wars.
