I'm gonna answer my own question...Costa Rica! 💗
Merida Mexico. However,I'll visit Costa Rica before I make my final decision. The summit is a must. Thanks for this.
I have a former coworker that is Mexican and we stay in touch.
My name is Marva Spence. I am afro Costa Rican, 71 years old. I was born on the Caribbean Coast. Now i live in Heredia, close to the airport. If I can be of help, let me know.
Please tell me more about where you are please?
Me too 🤗 would love to learn more!
What city do most Afro Coasta Ricans reside?
We attended an Afro-Latin parade in Limon Costa Rica. The Black community and Afro culture is vast and thriving there. Loved i!
Currently retired in Limon Costa Rica.
Sounds v interesting 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Roshida: Money is important + Stephanie Perry: Money is not real = Healthy Partnership❤
😆 💗
One more thing to drop is labels. Americans are obsessed with labeling people. Just be.
Hey ladies, I have finally relocated to Merida MEXICO
I’m ready for my interview 😀
Congratulations!🎈 Yay… I hope someone 😅will actually get the opportunity to interview you!😇
Hi! How are you enjoying Merida? Do you feel safe?
We looked at Merida as an option for us.
I’m watching from Playa Del Carmen Mexico and living out loud! Love the conversation 🇲🇽
I stopped waiting years ago. You all have been a great help. This is my tribe. 😊
Wonderful! We're so glad you're part of this amazing community. 💗
I just said the same thing I feel like this is my tribe
I love how mama Dowe is out in those international streets.
In order for me to cast a vote, i would have to visit & experience each location.
Mama Dowe is LIVING! 💗
Hey Stephanie...Funnily enough, avocados are fruits. To be more specific, an avocado is a single-seeded berry. You might be used to avocados in a vegetable-like role at the dinner table, but looking closely you'll see they are biologically a fruit.
I’m loving this replay! THESE are the perspectives every black woman needs to dial into.
With all do respect, I believe that waiting for your rewards in Heaven and suffering on earth, may be a hold over from slavery times. The church also double downed on that notion. As God's children we owe it to ourselves to be happy on earth and in Heaven.
We love black women in Costa Rica 🇨🇷
Thanks for the love
I love the thought of Costa Rica but the bug situation gives me a pause....I really like being able to get back to the USA within a couple hours of Mexico. One thing I do know is that I gotta get out of this place...lol
Please tell more on the bug situation.
Elder millennial here living in the states as part time retired nurse. I love this video and the work these ladies are doing. I'm absolutely here for loving abroad and living a nomadic lifestyle. The only thing that bothered me about listening to this was the fact that there is a differentiation between America (USA) and Mexico and Costa Rica, when in fact these areas are all apart of America. So people living in Costa Rica and Mexico are still Americans too. I was reminded of this my first time in Costa Rico when i was corrected by a local. I didn't make this this mistake in Mexico. America isn't just USA (the corporation)
"There's no space for joy." I felt that.
This is timely. I say Mexico. Mom says Costa Rica.
So both!! Thank you and your mom for watching. 💗
The algorithm is working ❤.
🙌🏾 🙌🏾
R: "I go where I am called." S: "Here is what I need." And I am believing for a combination of both in the immediate future . 😊 Tfs
Those 2 countries are on my list for moving abroad places. Been already to Mexico. Need to check Costa Rica next. Columbia and Ecuador are also on the list. I see myself slow travelling once I find a way to make money online! Great convo ladies ❤
Slow travel is a great choice. Be free! 💗
Thank you for your ministry....Harriet Tubman 2023❤
I am thinking of going to the Central Valley of Costa Rica. I do not like a lot of heat all year. Climate is really an important consideration. I plan to look into the city of Queretaro, which is similar to San Miguel de Allende in many ways, but less expensive. You are doing an amazing job sharing information.
Thank you for the information
Thank you! You guys always uplift me.
Another great video! I have my ticket for the Summit and can't wait.
OMG...I love the communication portion of the video so much!!!!
Thank You
Okay Roshida took me out with “her lil street friends”! 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for being so informative. ❤ I was able to send this out to family and some friends. And I hope that they will enjoy this as well. Lots to consider here. I'm definitely looking forward to my time away.😊
Love this, my heart is in CR! But I love Shida’s hype for Mexico. 😁
Stephanie the fresh markets in CR are called Ferias
Excited to find this channel before the summit next month in Oct. Years ago, I was a flight attendant and we travelled to Mexico City. We, the crew, were not there long enough to tour, but looking out of the window of my hotel, the size and buzz even at night was intriguing. Fast forward, last year, I met a young 23-year-old white guy who posted an article on the benefits of living in Mexico, but working online and doing business in the US. I said I would read it later. Before I could review his article, I have met white, Black and Latino that live part-time in Mexico and Puerto Rico, many in their 20s and 30s. Again, I said I would deep dive, but didn't. Your channel has pushed me to know more...Now!
I have been yearning to travel. Im so use to the American ideal of life but I’m so glad to find you. This gives me more inspiration to get going with the research and get out there and travel.
Love this, but my heart is in CR! But I love Shida’s hype for Mexico. 😁
Stephanie the fresh markets in CR are called Ferias
Watching the replay & I'm so glad you mentioned Puerto Vallarta since I'm doing a scouting trip there in March. No mobility issues, but let's just say my knees don't like a lot of stairs or steep hills. 😂
Lovely Video. Thank You Stephanie & Rashida. Having Watched All Through, I Now Grasp That Stephanie Was Referring To The Quality Of Her Specific Video Feed; Got It! But That Too Was Absolutely Fine! Interesting & Informative. Thanks To You Both. Have a Fabulous Day!🧚♀️🧚♀️
I think I want to check out David Panama...I watch you all the time Stephanie and I'm so happy for you.
My Sincere Apologies, Roshida. I Misspelt Your Name In My First Posted Comment!🤦🏼♀️
Stephanie, surely by now you have “ found the black Costa Ricans.”
Hello Ms Perry, I’m in London, 61, thinking of possible move to the countries you highlight….,love to connect with you! Love to attend exodus summit!!!!!
I signed up for exodus summit in Sep 2021 and never even attended because it was so busy at work. Since then I’ve started my career break, have been watching Stephanie’s videos, and I just went in my Facebook which I don’t even use to put my face in my profile photo and request permission to join the Facebook group. I just book my first trip to Costa Rica Rohrmoser area this month! How do I find the exodus expats in Costa Rica?
OMGoodness! So glad your channel was recommended to me. Maybe because I pulled up a few "Learn Spanish" videos(studied French in school). Will say I travelled to Puerto Rico years ago, and when the lady assisting people at the airport asked me a question in Spanish and I answered in English, she waved me off angrily to someone bi-lingual. LOL.
hi y’all! can you do a video on citizenship by investment?
These are on my list plus New Zealand and Jamaica. I need to know what is needed to make the move. I’m coming to the summit.
Once you spend time in the right place for you in Mexico, you will call it home. Mexico is very accessible to the US but definitely a different vibe. Mexico is wonder-full!
@@sesomnoslen5729 what places do you like in Mexico
I live in Guadalajara part-time for now and eventually plan to live in Mexico permanently one day. Guadalajara is the 3rd largest city in Mexico and has plenty to offer if one desires living in a large city. It took a couple years to really appreciate living here. Mexico most likely has what you're looking for in a place to live. What would be an ideal place to live abroad? Weather? Population? City or rural? @@MarshelleHarris
Do you have a list of What you need to do to prepare to move to Mexico ❤❤❤❤
Honestly, your hair looks wonderful that natural look. I love when black women wear their hair natural. It fits you perfect
Dear Stephanie, Forgive Me If I’m Being Too Personal Or Intrusive, But You Look AMAZING!!! (Let’s Get That Out If The Way😊) Thank You, Both, For The Video! Now I’m Ready To Enjoy!!!🌹
Now that’s a flex, I GET FRESH FRUIT DELIVERED!
💯✅
Can I be honest? Its hard for me to get into these types of conversations because one person takes up so much space in the convo. Roshida should consider pausing and letting Stephanie speak more and ask her questions throughout. This just bothers me because I experience this with people that take over entire convos and go on and on. Anyways, this just stood out to me. Also, I'm going to Africa to settle down fyi - would love to visit these places though.
In Costa Rica you have both the permanent market (mercado central) on each town and you also have the farmers market (feria del agricultor) on each town once a week where local farmers bring and sell directly their produce
There are buses that go everywhere in Costa Rica. Just that same as in México better if you live in a city center since most buses go out and arrive there
I hope this question doesn't sound too crazy but I live in Chicago a friend of mine went on vacation to Mexico don't know what part but he said in the hotel room and other places there were signs all over saying don't drink the water and there was bottled water everywhere.... Have you seen this or do you know anything about this.?💚💚💚
Avocado is a fruit...so are cucumbers. I think anything with seeds including on large seed, is a fruit.
And tomatoes
I fell in love with Costa Ricas passion fruit
❤
I would love to live out of the states but I just can’t imagine life without seeing my grandkids on a regular basis. ❤
I loved this conversation!! Currently Mexico is at the top for me. The one thing that I am curious about is the options for dating in those places. It’s not a high priority, but definitely a factor. I would love feedback on this but no one EVER addresses it.
Dating is universal. I live in Guadalajara and I love it there as a Black man. Plan and VISIT!
Because it’s very competitive. Women in those countries are beautiful and in shape, and the guys are used to that standard.
Curious...how are these places with Pets??? Coukd you bring a dog with you on one of these buses in Mexico?
Yes, México is very pet friendly✌
I really don't understand how can someone be living in Costa Rica and didn't visit the AfroCaribbean side! Is a paradise
Totally agree, retired living in Limon
I’m open to change and think about moving away from America. America is scary for minorities, but I have to wonder, if Mexico is such a good place, why are thousands of Mexicans crossing the border to be in America. I guess that’s what’s concerning to me.
I thought that was obvious... Poverty. Economic reasons
I'm looking into Jamaica. Retired and married but want to get away alone for a few weeks to a month. Looking into a month to month lease apt or airbnb. Not really sure how to even go about stepping out of the box and actually doing this.
Visit the location first as a vacation and start your research from there.
Crime rates are high in many parts of Jamaica
Of course Mexico!!
As an American a Black American I personally feel the reason we don't learn or are taught multiple languages (although in 2023 and years to come) I think we will improve and learn more languages, is because we have fifty English speaking states. Think about it. Let me explain. If I'm in Denver and then I travel to North Dakota, I'm still speaking English, hearing English when I get there. From Clevland to Nashville, same thing, etc. etc. Whereas, if I'm in Mexico speaking Spanglish to Paris, now I'm speaking French. Finland speaking Finnish, to Africa (multiple languages and tongues) to Portugal where Portuguese will be spoken. Get it? That's why I feel Americans don't speak several languages, however, I think we are learning more languages today and in the years to come. This is just my opinion. I'm entitled to have one.
???
Avocados are fruit it has a seed in them!
"It's empty. there nothing is inside"
TRY SOUTH AFRICA
Ha! I say this all the time. Some of my friends are waiting to die. Such a heavy feeling. Houston in warm and humidity and I'd like the same climate. Over 50 babe!!❤❤❤❤ by the way, love you ladies🎉
Speak the language ❤ At least be able to ask and answer basic questions in their native language. 😮 just saying.
You do not look like retirees 🎉
Stephanie, an avocado is a fruit. It’s just not sweet.
Where the Menses?
They keep saying that they are leaving America. But Mexico and Costa Rica are in America. Central America, not the US of America.
AMERICA is a mind-set. Yeah , they’re leaving.
Yeaaaa.... I just came from Costa Rica and believe me , it couldn't be more different than the US !!
People understand what they're talking about.
