- Today, we're going to take a look at a very interesting, very attractive watch from Breitling, the SuperOcean Heritage II Chrono.
Thanks to my friends at Lewis Jewelers (www.lewisjewele...) for loaning me this guy to check out at home.
I got this watch as a present from my wife, i wanted it so badly but it was top expensive, i mean i could afford it but i could not push myself far enough to spend 5820€ on a watch. I have a Rolex submariner which i inherited from my dad, i wear it everyday and i am happy with it, so i did not need another expensive watch, but in the back of my head i knew that i will get one of these. Maybe in the future when i get a good deal on one.
But my wife made me the happiest man alive a second time, not because she bought me an expensive present but because she saved up for a year to buy me this watch. She earns just over 1k a month with a 20hrs/week part time job. I love her so much

Got mine a month ago and absolutely fell in love.
I got mine today :D Its a proper beautiful watch, love it. Will hand it to my son when he turns 18 (hes only 4), so have plenty of time to enjoy it!

My Breitling SuperOcean is waterproof down to 5000 feet.
It hasn't drowned me yet, but will keep you posted.
How will you keep us posted if you drown? Ouija board perhaps?
I'll keep my ouija board handy, in case my electric telephone cease to work whilst down there.

I really love that Nick doesn't wear gloves when reviewing watches. Bugs the hell out of me when people use gloves on (usually) their own watches.

Nice watch... I'm no dive expert but I'm guessing that you would need a larger face so you can easily read the watch underwater... Anyhoo... It's a little pricey for me... No... Make that way out of my price range... Still cool to see what's on the higher end... Would like to see some more reviews of watches in the $200-$500 range... Maybe do a best bang for your buck at different price points starting at $50... Then $100, $200, etc... Just a thought...

i actually have this watch and it came with the quick adjust clasp that you have on the rubber breitling strap, just thought you might find it interesting that that is an option.

I somehow lost interest in Brietling when they got rid of the wings in favour of the B logo. Great watches though.

You know, if there's one thing I've learnt from being in the Army, it's never ignore a pooh-pooh. I knew a Major, who got pooh-poohed, made the mistake of ignoring the pooh-pooh. He pooh-poohed it! Fatal error! 'Cos it turned out all along that the soldier who pooh-poohed him had been pooh-poohing a lot of other officers who pooh-poohed their pooh-poohs. In the end, we had to disband the regiment. Morale totally destroyed... by pooh-pooh!

Dive watch with two extra holes drilled into the case? Dive watch with an non-graduated dive besel? A "heritage" or throwback model with a ceramic insert? This is a nice looking watch that make little sense to me.
I 100% agree with you in respect to this is well within current market norms. I should have more clearly stated that this is not my preferred style of diver. I love the design, style and function of my Seamaster 300m ceramic and Sea Dweller 116600. I would not feel comfortable jumping into the deep end of a swimming pool with any type of chrono, diver or not. I appreciate your opinion Stoney.
ETA: What divers are you into? I'm lusting over a 50 fathoms but the 45mm case would look absurd on me.

Not particularly, I think I still prefer Omega. But I'm just diversifying a bit. Right now, my actual collection is four Casio, Three Omega, One Citizen, and one Breitling.
Correction, you have two Citizens.
The BM8180 Field Watch for traveling, and the Blue Angels SkyHawk as a spare dinner plate.

How well does your phone do 3000 feet below the surface? The watch is made of stainless steel and ceramic...what do you imagine salt water doing to these materials? Also, too has 3 o's. My god man.

Nick Shabazz if I had to guess it's that the last handful of watch reviews you've done have been on 6-8 thousand dollar watches.....most of your subs are never gonna be able to afford these watches. They're cool to see but maybe work in a Seiko or a victorinox once in a while for us common folk.
Mountain Man Watch Reviews but then you might be tempted to buy a watch and fall down the rabbit hole of the watch world.
I've got a series of reviews of inexpensive watches ($100-200) coming soon, and am planning to try and mix it up with some higher end pieces, midrange, and lower end. :)
Also, just for you all, tomorrow, I'll drop a review of a nice dive watch for way less.
Too much bezel for my tastes.
