Your beautiful skin is such a great testimony to Mary Kay's products. As a consultant, I love to hear customer's feedback and I can clearly see that our miracle set is working for you! Keep up the great work!
I love the clean & clear sensitive skin stuff! I'm an actress and it takes off my stage makeup every time without fail! everyone always complains about the oily stage makeup clogging their pores and giving them acne but even with my 60-year-old lady makeup (I'm playing Ms. Lynch in Grease the musical) I can always get all the stage makeup off and I've never had any noticeable breakouts. Good to know someone else knows about such an awesome product!
I was a die hard Mary Kay person - even sold it for a while when my son was little. In the last couple of years I have totally switched to Arbonne. My skin has improved SO much!! Everything Arbonne is amazing!!
I use Clinique religiously. I love how easy it is, 3 steps. It's also priced well. BTW Mommytard, I think it's important that you stress the use of sunscreen more. It's very necessary even if it's not sunny out. Not just on your face but all over. Stay healthy inside and out. You are a wonderful role model for young girls and I appreciate all that you and your family do. God has blessed you and I'm proud to see you have used His blessings in a positive way !
I love that colette is so practical like it's hard to buy the really expensive facial cleansers for every little thing and her skin care products are so accessible so thanks mommytard!
Okay, so I LOOOOVE the Timewise line! I actually started using it when I was 15, even though the Mary Kay lady was like, "You don't need this until you're like...30..." I love the night solution stuff. And as for my moisturizer, I use Aveda Botanical Kinetics Hydrating Lotion. It's very light, silky, and wonderful. Ever since I started using that (a little over a year now), I have had maybe 1 or 2 pimples. It's amazing.
I use Lush products! Herbalism as a cleanser, Catastrophe Cosmetics as face mask and Imperialis as moisturiser, works really great! Sometimes I use La Roche Posay Effaclear products, but sometimes I just leave my skin for a couple of days without putting any make-up on it, or cleanse it too much, and drink lots of water. This helps it calm down a bit because I have very sensitive skin! :)
toning would be a great extra step for you BUT if you don't want an extra product in your routine, splashing quite cold water on your face is a good alternative, its great for preparing your skin for moisturiser!
I found that Neutrogena's oil-free eye makeup remover works just as well as Mary Kay's & it's half the price! Just thought you should know just in case if you forget yours traveling or in a pinch. Great toner for pretty much anyone is witch hazel. I have super oily skin but its also very sensitive and it doesn't over-dry my skin like most astringents. I'm in my early 30's and this is that only thing that has stayed a constant in my skin care regiment for 15+ years.
Don't remove yourself from the grief - just let the grieving happen. It's normal and natural to grieve, and grieving actually helps with the healing process. Know that your pup will be in a better place, and remember all the good times you guys had together. Also remember that as time goes on it will get easier and easier to deal with, though of course you will always miss him.
Nice to hear! I haven't had any bad acne problems, but taking care of your skin is important, you look better and you get better self-confidence and you just feel much better. :)
I use Clean&Clear stuff too! Every Tuesday I put on a not too harsh of a scrub with microbeads in it and it feels amazing! It is also oil free which is awesome since I do put moisturizer on my face 24/7.
i use all those MaryKay products! try using the toner it may tingle a little bit, but its a good tingle. then put your moisturizer on it makes your skin so much softer!
Thanks for sharing your skin care routine...you have a flawless, beautiful complexion. Your makeup in general (eyes especially) always looks stunning too. Maybe one day, you will share your favorite products for that as well.
Hey miss!! Can you do like an update video of your skincare routine? Your skin is the best thing I've ever seen. I'm struggling everyday with my acne scars and my dream is to HAVE you skin !!
Colette, I bought the MaryKay Timewise set because of you and I love it! I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and I never knew my skin could be this great!! Thank you!!
The best treatment for spots is teatreeoil. You can get it at any pharmacy and it's really cheap. It has a very strong smell, but it REALLY works! Put it on before going to bed and the redness is gone in the morning and in 2 days the zit is gone aswell. It really is GREAT. The best kind is the one that's not mixed with anything else. I recommend it to everyone!
Hey Colette! Always put sunscreen on the top of your hands and the neck/chest area also.. the skin is really thin and delicate which makes it age faster! Love you and the fam!
A good tip for little blackheads or pimples (sort of like a spot treatment) or a group of acne is tea tree oil! Its all natural, and it works really really well! It smells okay too (not chemically and stuff) So yeah. thats just what I use when I breakout. (:
I have to use sulfate free products (even toothpaste), so I've been using some Burt's Bees products and tinkering with a few others. I like the Kirkland cleaning wipes (great for makeup and travel) and then the Burt's Bees Radiance cleanser and moisturizer (which has spf 15 I think). I also like the BeautiControl face moisturizer from the Gold line. It's lightweight/non-greasy. Love your tips Katilette!
I love witch hazel!! It is one of my staples that I can never go without, it always removes any makeup residue, oil, etc at night and especially in the morning! Also, Vanicream products are AMAZING for sensitive skin b/c they have no parabens, harsh chemicals, parabens, or fragrance and it works so well! Hope this helped :)
I personally love Nuetrogena's pink grapefruit range. I've used the face wash for a long time and it's always been good to me. The new moisturiser is also really good because my skin feels a lot softer nowadays and never greasy :)
I can say that my must have is Aloevera gel. I use the brand Jäson Aloe vera Gel 98% ^^ As I easily get very dry skin during the cold wintermonths, this helps me moisturize it properly.
for some, it has a stronger effect than others. Perhaps try using a stronger version of the Crest white strips? you have to also take into consideration that the bright lighting is also making her face/teeth brighter/whiter than normal too.
Katielette I use the same products as you do, but for the moisturizer I use the Mary Kay in the Summer & Olay in the Winter, just because my skin in the winter is more dry in than it is in the Summer. (Midwest Girl) but Mary Kay been using their facial cleaner since I was just a teen. It also lasts such a long time cause you don't need as much. :) LOVE the Eye Make Up Remover! :) Works better than any others that I have tried. :)
i can not believe this. i was just saying to my self yesterday, " she needs to put up a skin care review" and i was so excited to see this today, so thank you for the skin care routine : )
In the mornings, I like to use the Clean & Clear morning burst (its called that or something along those lines, haha) Its green and has green and yellow bursting beads. I use it every day. It is my #1 favorite from Clean & Clear!!
You can tell that Mommytard takes really good care of her skin. If you look at her pictures from years ago, she still looks the EXACT same. She's beautiful!
I've been using that clean and clear face wash its the best, especially since I have sensitive skin. I have been using Garnier refreshing gel cream moisturizer and I love it, because it does not leave a residue on my skin like every other moisturizer I have tried. Might be a good one to look into and it's probably a lot cheaper than Mary Kay
I use the same one from Clean and Clear, works awesome for me. A great littlemakeup remover I stumbled across is Ponds Evening Soothe cleansing towelettes, they are AWESOME for removing makeup up and very gentle.
one thing i really feel the need to share cause its done WONDERS for my skin is vitamin e oil. It does make you look greasy, but I put it on at night, and by morning my skin has absorbed it and looks GREAT!
I use the clean and clear stuff too and my brother likes it as well. He actually uses it after he shaves so he doesn't get razor rash. He says it works better for him than any aftershave he's tried.
I use the neutrogena wave sonic , I love it !. It leaves my face clean and VERY soft . I use it once a mouth because I don't want to dry out my skin . I recommend it
Your skin and hair look so beautiful and healthy. Mary Kay products are great. I also like the Neutrogena Clear Pore cleanser and mask. It makes my skin feel so fresh!
Hi! First, great videos! You are always so beautiful! For my skin, Mary Kay is a bad choice because I have so sensitive skin. But I would like to tell you about what I use. The brand is Mene&Moy and it is really good for cleansing and night care, because it treats your skin all night long! If your skin is gonna break out, just use Mene&Moy night creme and your skin feels great the next morning :) Just a tip :) Lots of love to you and your wonderful family!!
I get the Kirkland brand stuff at Costco (that's their house brand). Burt's Bees used to be harder to come by but now it's carried at a lot of larger chain stores like Target, Meijer, etc. oherwise typically "health food" type stores will carry a ton of brands of sulfate free products like Burt's Bees, Tom's of Maine (read label to be sure because some of theirs aren't but the clean & gentle toothpaste is good). The Costco stuff is great and cheap. Love! I swear the shampoo/cond is Pureology.
I HIGHLY recommend Nivea mosturizing creme (in the white tub).. it's great for sensitive skin, not oily or anything, it works wonders for combination skin as well. I swear by this product, used it all my life.
I also use something from Clean & Clear - its the oil free deep action exfoliating scrub. Its not too harsh on my face and its the only thing that helps me to have less breakouts. After you wash it off your skin feels so cool and sorta tingly so you know your getting a real deep clean. Try and see if you like it! :D
Thank you so much for doing this, Katilette!!! I have always been curious about your skincare because your skin seems SO flawless. I loooove Mary Kay products! I use Mary Kay's Velocity cleanser and moisturizer. I love it! It leaves my skin feeling soooo soft and it's affordable! :)
"A Constant" for me is Oil of Olay Total Effects Daily Moisturizer Total Effects fights 7 signs of aging (fine lines and wrinkles, rough texture, uneven skin tone, dullness, prominent pores, age spots and dryness)
Mary Kay has a line for teens, actually. It depends on the needs of your skin. Using the age-fighting stuff won't hurt you, either. It's never too early to start taking care of your skin. Depending on how old you are, if you start now think about how amazing your skin will look in 10 years. MK isn't bad for young people, but if you're worried you can use their Velocity line for teens though it only comes with a cleanser and moisturizer.
the clean and clear, although cleanses well, is full of chemicals called SLS and SLES which foam the product up and suck all the moisture out... an oil based product, provided its made with natural oils, not mineral oils, is actually beneficial for your skin...
I use the Simple brand face washes, they are perfect for sensitive skin and use natural ingredients that work really well and are helpful for your skin, and i get really bad back acne aswell and what i actually do is use neutrogena face scrub for my back and shoulders and i find that face scrubs work better for my back and shoulder acne rather than actual body washes. I hope this helps :)
I would recommend the Sonia Kashuk eye makeup remover! (You can get it at Target) It works better than the Mary Kay, and is cheaper and more accessible!
I once got a clogged tear duct and the doctor told me is is common for people who use eye makeup especially oil-based or water proof products. He recommended until it cleared up that I wash my eyelids with 4 parts water and 1 part baby shampoo. Now if I use eye make up a wash my eyes first before using my regular cleanser and wash all the makeup off with baby shampoo it is more gentle then regular face cleanser and never makes me cry.
Katilette, I bought the clean and clear foaming facial cleanser. It is so amazing! It is perfect for my skin and like you said it isn't oily or anything! I'm just excited because I have been having trouble with my skin and finding a good product for quite some time now. Thank you so so so much!
I bought a Clarisonic yesterday, and although they are EXTREMELY expensive.. I have to say it was completely worth it. I had to save up and finally decided to splurge on it and I'm so happy with it (:
I ave acne on my arms and have found that using an anti-spot face wash on them has hepled. I'd recommend getting a seperate sponge/mitt to use face wash on your back with, cos if you use ordinary shower gel with your regular sponge, that could be aggravating the acne : )
If you want a really cheap face wash that will get all your make up off and not leave any residue just use Dove sensitive skin bar soap because its awesome at all of those things and obviously great for sensitive skin. ALSO if you have normal/dry skin definitely use CeraVe cream lotion. Those two are amazing and thats all I use on my face besides the basics for makeup!
Thank you so much for sharing! You have such beautiful clear skin! I need to get into the habit of washing the make-up off my face every night. :/ Habits are hard stop and start. This has motivated me though. Thanks!
I like to use Purity Made Simply by Philosophy. It is a bit pricey, but it is a fantastic cleanser that removes all make up in one step without drying out your skin.
i love the mk makeup remover! i'm just starting on the timewise set, too. so far i really like the moisturizer and night gel :) i also have the mk toner which works really well to remove any left over makeup.
st. ives apricot exfoliator is AMAZING. I use it like 3-4 times a week. Also, you should check out the company Melaluca, they have awesome all natural cleaning and beauty supplies. I love Renew (i have really dry skin, and its really gentle) I use it all over my body (including face) every morning and night. Their chapstick, tooth paste and deodorants are also amazing!
Hi Katielette, I'm going to try this, for sure! I use a line of skin care called eminence, It's all natural and works amazing! it's really expensive, but worth it.I Love the stone crop line from eminence. I also do a lot of homemade masks for my face, I get a lot of the mask recipes from TH-cam, LOL :) I've also found that extra virgin olive oil works wonders for my eyelashes, and for cleaning off make-up. once in awhile if my face feels dry I add it to my cleanser. yaay for girlie stuff :D
Can you do an updated version PLEASE! You have such beautiful skin!
Your beautiful skin is such a great testimony to Mary Kay's products. As a consultant, I love to hear customer's feedback and I can clearly see that our miracle set is working for you! Keep up the great work!

Wich foundation do you use? Love your natural&perfect look!
now i want to try mary kay...mommytard has the most beautiful skin
Updated skin care n full face makeup routine!!!:)))
I use Lush products! Herbalism as a cleanser, Catastrophe Cosmetics as face mask and Imperialis as moisturiser, works really great! I love how You´re not so serious about yourself. That´s so refreshing to see, because other beauty youtubers are so ...I say different ;)
Nice to hear! I haven't had any bad acne problems, but taking care of your skin is important, you look better and you get better self-confidence and you just feel much better. :)

Thank you!!! May you eventually show us your foundation/concealer "base" makeup you use and how you apply it? I would love to get some tips from you!
your skin is SO clear i'm so jealous!!
I love Mary Kay skin care line! I use it every day too! Love your make-up today!
I get the Kirkland brand stuff at Costco (that's their house brand). colette's skins looks flawless in this video... I guess the skin care products really do work!
i love when you do these little beauty videos! it shows your girly side :DD p.s. i love clean and clear cleansers. ill have to try the foaming one!
I HIGHLY recommend Nivea mosturizing creme (in the white tub).. it's great for sensitive skin, not oily or anything, it works wonders for combination skin as well. I swear by this product, used it all my life.
I use ivory soap and water. that's also what i use to wash my hair. i feel and smell great.
Your face looks flawless.. I use Cetaphil moisturizer and cleaner bc I have extremely sensitive skin, I love it! It works wonders on my skin
I always use acne washes and acne prone lotion. For example, I use neutrogina washes and clean and clear lotions. Helps a lot!
you may be able to order it online. you should check. It isn't a store brand in the states, you have to buy it from a rep. or online.
I love the Mary Kay eye makeup remover! I've gone through like 5 bottles since I found it
BeautiControl! its what ive used for a long long time! The Skinlogics Clear set really helps specially those that are acne prone!
"A Constant" for me is Oil of Olay Total Effects Daily Moisturizer
Total Effects fights 7 signs of aging (fine lines and wrinkles, rough texture, uneven skin tone, dullness, prominent pores, age spots and dryness)
Can you please do your favorite nail polishes?!? You always have the cutest nail colors!
the clean and clear, although cleanses well, is full of chemicals called SLS and SLES which foam the product up and suck all the moisture out... an oil based product, provided its made with natural oils, not mineral oils, is actually beneficial for your skin...
ahh i can't get over how perfect your skin is as you're talking about these products... you should be the spokesmodel!
I hope this helps :)
clean and clear morning burst facial scrub.... i love that and use it every morning
u can get something similar as an add-on for chrome and you can change the brightness
I've used the Velocity line from Mary Kay since 5th grade & I haven't found anything better! My mom loves Timewise, though!
Your skin is so beautiful it is just radiating on the screen!
I love using the aveno skin care line for your face they have an awesome face cleanser
LOVE Mary Kay products!! Everything is amazing especially the eye makeup remover!!
I had to save up and finally decided to splurge on it and I'm so happy with it (:
ahhhhh yayyyy! thank you for sharing! a hair care routine video would be awesome
I love the Mary Kay make up remover. I've tried many different ones but I always come back to that one it gets everything off .
Im in a really sad place at the moment... thanks for posting these videos .. you keep me going through the days :)
I ave acne on my arms and have found that using an anti-spot face wash on them has hepled. I'd recommend getting a seperate sponge/mitt to use face wash on your back with, cos if you use ordinary shower gel with your regular sponge, that could be aggravating the acne : )
I just use Valvoline 10W30 for my skincare needs. Whatever's left over I collect for changing the oil on my V8.
If you want a really cheap face wash that will get all your make up off and not leave any residue just use Dove sensitive skin bar soap because its awesome at all of those things and obviously great for sensitive skin. ALSO if you have normal/dry skin definitely use CeraVe cream lotion. Those two are amazing and thats all I use on my face besides the basics for makeup!
love clean and clear morning glow products!!!
Can u do a get ready with me with babytard and princesstard:)
That would be awsome
Yeah 👊
I LOVE Purity Made Simple by Philosophy!! Very light scent...very gentle...VERY powerful cleaning! I use it with my Clarisonic! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
I have always loved mary kay skin care. I wish it wasn't so expensive but its the best I have used.
I like pure castille soap, coconut oil and natural mineral powder makeup.
Thank you so much for sharing! You have such beautiful clear skin! I need to get into the habit of washing the make-up off my face every night. :/ Habits are hard stop and start. This has motivated me though. Thanks!
I use tea tree oil face wash (Body Shop) with my clarisonic. It is very drying, so only for those with oily skin. I love it though.
the miracle set is my favorite!
Their chapstick, tooth paste and deodorants are also amazing!
your skin is so beautiful and flawless i am beyond jealous love you
Hi Katielette, I'm going to try this, for sure!
Katilette, your beautiful inside and out. You always brighten up my day with a smile.
