Pit's damage output isn't as good as most other characters. And his combos aren't very long or damaging. Pit gets his damage from stray hits and winning neutral repeatedly.

No that that makes him bad by any means. He's got literally every tool he needs at his disposal. Its jus that, personally, I think he's boring to play and watch.

Love Meta Knight but this clip just honestly showing how much better Pit is in a lot of the ways Meta is. More damage, hitboxes are more forgiving and much higher kill potential. Recovery may be a bit narrow and predictable but it's hard to counter and has a jank hitbox that catches people off guard.

@@matteoschiro7710 not sure if this being a bad mu for pit is true but off the top of my head, the pits are the ideal weight and floatiness to get 0-deathed by mk, every time MK wins neutral pit could theoretically die. Also, pits up b has no hit box meaning mk can freely edge guard assuming they don’t overextend

@@matteoschiro7710 its slightly negative. it mainly comes to options that can be chosen just after the main advantage states. the # of jumps and speed of aerials matter alot as pits have a few combos that lead into some potent strings if you cant jump or have to use your jump specifically. MK doesnt really have that issue which makes it hard and hes faster too
