Q1 - Can we get 8 ft by 4 ft UPVC Doors for.our house .. Q2 - How much MM of glass is recommended for UPVC Doors / Windows from Pure Security Perspective
Q1 - Can we get 8 ft by 4 ft UPVC Doors for our house? Absolutely! UPVC doors are highly customizable and can be manufactured to your desired dimensions. 8 ft by 4 ft is a common size for entry doors, patio doors, and even some interior door applications. Here are a few things to consider when ordering your UPVC door: Style: Choose from solid panel doors, partly glazed doors, or fully glazed French doors. Opening Configuration: Do you prefer a single door, double doors, or a door with sidelights for additional width? Hardware: Select handles, locks, and hinges that complement your home's style and meet your security requirements. Q2 - How much MM of glass is recommended for UPVC Doors / Windows from Pure Security Perspective For optimal security with UPVC doors and windows, here's what's generally recommended: Laminated Glass: Laminated glass consists of two or more layers of glass bonded together with a tough interlayer. This makes it significantly more difficult to break than standard glass. Thickness: A minimum of 6mm laminated glass is recommended for most residential applications. For areas requiring enhanced security, 8mm or thicker laminated glass might be a better option. Tempering: Tempered glass is stronger and breaks into safer pieces than regular glass, offering an additional safety benefit. Important Considerations: Your Location: If you live in a high-crime area, discussing specific security concerns with a UPVC door supplier is advisable. They might recommend additional security features. Balanced with Aesthetics: While security is important, consider how the glass thickness impacts your desired natural light and desired door/window design.

Can you pls make a video on profile light installation without false ceiling. Their is any possibility to install aluminium din rail during slab casting, have you guys done such thing ever before?
Hi Sourabh , I am an old subscriber and I really enjoy your videos and knowledge sharing. Could you please tell me what should we use to fill gaps between ply/wood and concrete wall? Putty is developing cracks after few months.like I have one full length wardrobe which is fixed with celing. The cracks developed between celing and plywood frame
thanks for being a subscriber! The cracks are happening because wood and concrete move differently, and putty isn't flexible enough. Here's the fix: 1. Remove the old putty. 2. Clean the gap really well. 3. Use a paintable, flexible caulk (acrylic latex or silicone). You might need a backer rod for larger gaps. This should solve the cracking problem!
Hello there, fellow home enthusiast! Thanks so much for being a loyal subscriber and for your kind words. I'm happy to help you with this issue. Putty is a common solution for filling minor gaps and imperfections, but it's not ideal for larger gaps or areas that experience movement, like the one between your ceiling and plywood wardrobe frame. Here are a few better options to consider: 1. Acrylic Sealant: Benefits: Flexible, durable, and can withstand minor movement. Available in various colors to match your decor. Best for: Sealing gaps up to about 1/4 inch wide. 2. Paintable Caulk: Benefits: Similar to acrylic sealant, but specifically designed to be painted over. Best for: Gaps where you want a seamless finish. 3. Expanding Foam: Benefits: Fills large gaps and voids, providing insulation and structural support. Best for: Gaps larger than 1/4 inch. Choose a low-expanding foam for smaller areas to avoid warping. 4. Wood Filler: Benefits: Can be sanded and stained to match your wood, creating a more seamless look. Best for: Smaller gaps in wooden surfaces where appearance is important.
Hello sir I am from Kullu Himachal Pradesh and I am building a new house there. The climate here is cold and dry. I am planning to install a lift and slide window in My living room having width of 16feet and height of 10 feet. I have shortlisted fenesta brand for installation. Kindly advise which type of window material should I install and also kindly advise the style of the window 🙏
What about weatherseal by Asian paints? Whether it is better or as per with Fenesta/ Prominance because it is providing highest warranty of 20 years on profile and 5 years on hardware. 🤔
Recommendation: I'd recommend getting quotes from all three brands and comparing them based on your specific requirements and budget. Also, visit their showrooms or dealer stores to see the products in person and get a feel for their quality. Don't hesitate to ask for references and check online reviews to gauge customer satisfaction. Ultimately, the best brand for you will be the one that offers the right combination of quality, features, warranty, and price to meet your individual needs.
Nice informative video, but bro pls avoid using "poochuk poochuk", "ting ting" annoying background sound.
