I have placed order for 5 windows and 3 doors. And I must say it looks very elegant and luxurious. Just waiting for the dispatch and final fittings. Expecting to be ready by this month.🤞
I used upvc windows 10 years ago . Regret it . Planning to replace few of them by conventional windows with modern materials like WPC . Any video on synthetic wood options would be great .
@@adityamishra8482 firstly , I regret using a sliding window as compared to openable window. Very difficult to clean and maintain the sliding track. No matter how much you maintain , the upvc gets scratches over a period of time ...especially the lower portion which can not be repaired or re polished . Since I have used white colour may be I am facing more challenges . It may be suitable for apartments where security grills are not required but I am in an independent house and had to install a separate security grill and the the space between grill and the window is not enough to put your hands and clean them. Locking system if goes wrong then it is a proprietary lock ....so many similar issues . Earlier I lived in a house with old wooden windows ...after experiencing both , I feel it is easier to maintain wooden windows for indian conditions . It can be repaired , repainted , re polished once in 5 years and can be given fresh look which is not possible in upvc windows .
Means functionally the uPVC WINDOWS proved but expectations on cleaning tracks on a sliding window is a point of dissatisfaction and white colour which is a starting range product. Colour or wooden finish casement windows would have been better choice for a customer who have WOODEN look in mind. uPVC is durable n weather proof for long time 20yrs per se but in Europe 50yrs already life achieved. As a responsible citizen we should choose a sustainable product like uPVC / WPC over Wood /Aluminium/Steel.
I have uPVC sliding doors in my home from Prominance and they are pretty good and cheaper than Fenesta. I took quotation from both and there was significant difference in the pricing and no difference in the quality. Don't know why but maybe Fenesta spends a lot on marketing.

recently I spoke to Fenesta people, they suggested that Fenesta window itself is safe n secure without grill, suggested not to install grill, it looks beautiful and safety too...use 10/12MM glass (by default toughened glass) that takes care of safety.
We got sliding upvc windows installed by a local nearby vendor, in our home in apartment. Plain glass 6mm is used. But we don't find any noise reduction, same as it was earlier with upvc windows, lot of ouside noise. I wonder if the vendor cheated us with using low quality glass. How to check the quality?
Only 80% of the noise is cutoff in any sliding window aluminium or pvc. That comparison is in open vs closed window. Many vendors say it’s 100% noise proof or 80% noise will cutoff from your existing windows. They are lying. We are installing sound proof windows in our studio and the glass is DGU. (double glass unit) and am expecting an 80% reduction in the noise vs when window was open. Let’s see. See the quote is it written 6mm ,8mm or 10mm glass or DGU glass?
Wondering will it still he possible to clean villa window if you put the safety grills in between ? Then they are like any other open window where grill makes it inconvenient to clean.
Can u install sliding windows if all civil work is done but internal wall painting is not done…? What is the best time in the sequence to install window in new project?
The best time is after POP wall punning and window frames/stone Jambs are ready ! As the property needs to be sealed from external dust n moisture b4 painting, windows are a must. Do cover the window
