Financial play is so fair that clubs who are bleeding debt can still spend millions on players under the umbrella of who they sell whilst not being forced to reduce their debt. The Cartell have the upper hand with FFP. Klopp one of the most vocal has spent £230 million with a little help from the £50 million he got from selling his older players to the very country he despises 🤔
Newcastle’s form coming from the push for survival, through the whole of last season carried on through pre-season. Consistency is proof of quality and character. We Will not fall behind.

It's mad how fresh all of the managers seem to look at the start of the season compared to how they look around March. Football management must be incredibly hard work.
We're going to be fighting it out with a lot of good teams, the "big six" (maybe not Spurs so much), Villa and Brighton should all be in the mix, and we can't all finish top 4 or win a trophy. Provided we're in that mix and don't get dropped off into mid-table we should be happy, even if we miss out on the big prizes this time around, sooner or later our time will come.
I think the extra player Eddie wants should be a main goalscoring striker. He explained we signed Livramento because we have 4 right backs but only 2 fit. Well, we only have 2 main goalscoring strikers - Wilson and Isak. And people seem to forget last season Wilson was made of glass and was missing for long periods. I don't think we can count on him being available for a full season and need extra dependable scoring talent in that position. Especially given the increased games.
Still somehow Wilson managed to produce his best goalscoring season ever with 18 goals. And I don’t think we’ve had a striker who has scored that many goals in a season since Alan Shearer. I think Eddie Howe will manage him very carefully like he did last season. Give him starts here and there when it gets too much for Isak and give some minutes off the bench.
Cant wait for the start of the season.. I am under no illusion that its a tough league and we will have ups and downs... however I think we have a really attacking style team with a decent defence...getting out of the champions league group stages would be excellent and finishing in the top 6 would be another plus... Cant see us breaking the cup spell...

Last season Newcastle United were slaughtered by Aston Villa 3:0 by the same squad, the difference was at the Aston Villa stadium, this time at St.James Park I hope the result is different, I hope to win 3:1, even if you lose 0:1 it's a realistic result , the problem is Eddie Howe and Dan Ashworth are only busy buying defenders, even though there are already 13 defenders at Newcastle United, while the attackers sector only buys mediocre players like Gordon and Barnes, indeed we have Isak, Wilson, Almiron, but we are participating in 4 tournaments, depth the squad is very shallow, if Wilson, Almiron, Isak are injured or exhausted, it's impossible to really expect Gordon, Barnes, Anderson, Miley to score goals, we should have bought typical goal machine attackers, I was hoping to buy Goncalo Ramos, but already bought by PSG (PSG management moves quickly without using drama, just € 80m and you can defend it). Can't Ramos buy Jonathan David or Yousef En Nesyri..

I think a lot of Arabs understand English. That’s from experience in working over in that part of the world, most people I encountered spoke English. But I get what you’re saying, and as the club grows to reach out to as many people as possible it may be a good idea to include different language subs.
