Loved Bobby Robson and Rafa but Eddie is my favourite Newcastle manager. Tactically amazing and a new skool coach. Great person and hope he's with us for a long time .

He gives a great press conference does Eddie, we’ve had our fair share of managers who couldn’t handle the press and in my opinion it creates a massive negative effect on the team and the club as a whole. Eddie Howe has everyone on side, not just the players, the press, the city and the owners, makes a huge difference.
Seems he’s always been like that, I didn’t know much about him but was hooked after seeing him on a podcast (can’t Remember which) when he first got the job. V well spoken
The difference of respect, humbleness & professionalism between Eddie and Klopp is off the charts. Eddie has all those traits, Klopp just cries, complains and sticks his nose in every other clubs business and makes unnecessary comments.
Carries himself with so much more dignity than many of his peers. Even when pushed towards commenting on another club or manager comment, he just calmly steers right back to professional, courteous answers. Very proud to have this man represent our club.
TF have humorous little meme about Eddie when he’s asked about transfers ie the player is standing behind him and he’s still saying he knows nothing. Well, here we are off to city and…….. we are not afraid or resigned to a loss. Pep G will pay us the ultimate compliment of respect (unlike other N/W team mangers! ‘Sorry’). I think the game will look a lot like the Com. Shield but with this new City semi-long ball/pass (that they nicked off us, btw). One point on the two managers - Pep has never done what Eddie has. He’s never started at the bottom while Eddie has. Pep has always had top sides which he’s added to. Eddie has more, though. Worth remembering!
Eddie is a proper genius. I look at the sart of this season exactly the same way. A challenge. Win these games and we go on a rampage even if we dont win we are playing the best which can only raise our game for the rest of the season.

Love how perfect his answers are but seemingly absent from any media training or PR cleansing, as he quite simply doesn’t need any. He’s the most open, honest, professional, stoic and respectful manager I’ve seen in my life. It’s an absolute privilege that he is at our club.
They will never fix the mics. We have been asking since these started. It is fine if you listen at a high volume on laptop, but listening on earpods or headphones at a safe level, then we will just have to live with it. You also get people coming on defending the poor sound on the questions, or telling us to put on subtitles. It wouldn't be difficult to plug in a second mic and have it as room atmos, or sort the sound in post before uploading. I will do it for free if they don't know how. Regardless, love Eddie's press conferences and everything else the club is doing (except the sound!)
9:14 we’ve got other clubs rattled that’s their problem, the way we go about our game is to benefit Newcastle United other clubs should focus on their own teams but if they’re worried about us I take that as a compliment tbh🤷♂️

from an audio engineer perspective, it doesn't take much effort to up the levels here, I could do as much fairly swiftly. They need to up their game with the audio...
Klopp making a remark like he did re technical area is quite strange considering that as far as I know last season Eddie has not strayed outside the Technical area, nor has he sustained an injury running out of the technical area and pursuing an official. Eddie has though had a fan from an opposing team confront him within the technical area. After watching the second episode from Amazon Prime Amanda’s remarks go hand in hand with what we all know and that is Newcastle have been targeted and it’s continuing. It’s a reminder that the cartel care not one jot about anybody else within the Prem it’s all about what they could loose and they are getting desperate.
Im a Newcastle fan through and through. Please don't anyone say he is better than Sir Bob (yet), thats just nonsense and an insult....How has not yet achieved anything. Sir Bobby was one of the best of all time not just wearing the Newcastle Head Coach Jacket. They are very similar in many ways, mannerism, passion, tactics, interviews. Bobby was out on the training pitches to the very last moment too at a very old age as does Howe. But Bobby had a glittering careers spanning decades, across teams and different countries and not to mention took a half baked under achieving bunch to a World Cup Semi final for England. When Eddie Howe achieves half of what Bobby did then i'll talk of Howe being on the same level. Eddie is amazing, by far the best manager since that era, but he has a lot to do to surpass a legend like Bobby Robson!

It’s when Villa battered us last season, but the following week the squad dusted themselves down and with the very same team went on to demolish Spurs! So IMO, I think Eddie is saying be positive no matter what the circumstances may be?
