At 20:00, if the MIN is related to the hardware of the phone, how does the MSC know the MIN since a call is made using a GSM sim and only the details of the sim are registered everywhere including the local registers ?

No
The base stations work is merely like a messenger . Just informing the MSC about the call request . The MINs and other related data are stored at the MSC which are used for call making ..

have a doubt regarding that MIN numbers...is it used to identify the mobile or to identify the sim .if mobile means how...because the changing of a network would allow that person to escape with the theft phone kno..or any detail regarding the mobile like..a number assigned to the mobile by the manufacturer is stored in the lookup table ah....please reply....

i guess there are provisions for knowing both the Sim related MIN and mobile hardware related MIN . If you take the case of iphones , even if they aare stolen and sims are changed , we can still block the usage of a phone . But phone related MIN is a highly discreet data since it can be used to monitor the activities of a phone thus intruding the privacy of the mobile user . So only sim related MINs are easily accessed since the sims can be easily changed and are of no further significance
