Lecture Series on Wireless Communications by Dr.Ranjan Bose, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Delhi. For more details on NPTEL, visit nptel.iitm.ac.in
npteldrd is really the best source of real information for just about everything.. I am really grateful that you have taken it upon yourself to put these videos online. Thank you so very much for sharing the knowledge. This is the true purpose of the internet and you guys have used it to its fullest extent. You are awesome.
I recently changed my specialization from wireless to networking due to a bad teaching style of my professor at my college. I want to come back now, you are really impressive and inspiring!
hi is the a good online lecture series on designing radio components such as modulators transmitters and receivers, i mean analogue circuits for these components ? or is it covered in this series
Thanks! Good lecture. Well could you give some information regarding Underwater Wireless Communication? Existing technology, challenges and future developments, etc.etc.
My question is on Handoff: If user switch from base station(B1) operating at frequency(f1) to base station (B2) operating at frequency(f2) this means user earlier transmitting signal at frequency f1 is now transmitting at frequency f2 how does this not effect the communication at other side (which earlier operating at f1 and still at f1)

thanks .....sir
You are a very good teacher....The world is a better place because of you.
Thanks, Richard

At 8:05 or so, when he says "microwave radio", I'm fairly certain he means "medium-wave radio", which I think would be AM in the US.
Improve the HD quality of your lecture when downloading it is not more than 360. It should be 720 atleast.
because of the skin effect. high frequency, conductors attenuate signal rapidly.
nice
I'm commenting after 14 years. Think where will I be after 14 years?
the beginning of wireless communication light a mem ber big family radio commu ni cation
This lecture took place before 2007 and still UWB is held up by lack of agreed upon standards...
2023
I thought this course would be taught mathematically like an engineering course..??
Nokia manufactures phones in India, don't they? Maybe more mobile phone design and manufacturing should be done in India.
done!
It would be better if i could understand you :/
What's wrong with speaking english?
