Same! Literally had a memory one day of how well-made and how great they made me feel! To make a long story short - just bought the 1461 Bex in black “Air Wair”. *Side-note the bex shoe has a thicker sole and tbh walking in these feels like I’m Superman!
One of my favorite outfits to go with a pair of 1461’s is a Black Turtleneck with a lighter color overcoat with black or dark grey jeans. Shoes wise I bounce between the Oxblood 1461’s and the Black ones shown here in the video depending on if I need more color in my outfit. I will say though these shoes are a major pain in the ass to maintain manually so I’d highly recommend only buying a pair if you have a shoeshiner or repair shop nearby so something like a Timpson’s if you are from the UK not sure what the alternative would be elsewhere.

Basically dark solid colors and minimalist style. Maybe even a robust fabric is a factor for them to have a coherent look
