I'm picky about my fiddle tunes... and I don't know what it says about me that there are only a couple of things about this tune that don't sound quite right. Generally though, I love it - gonna go check out folkrnn as soon as possible. Love this idea. Oh, and I'm an Ohioan as well. Just much closer to Kings Island than Cedar Point.
It’s named after Cedar Point, but it’s a a nice pretty bouncy tune with no effect of a speeding roller coaster. Is there a way to give AI instructions that make a tune sound suggestive of its title - like Flop Eared Mule, Cluck Old Hen, Drunkard’s Hiccups, Listen to the Mockingbird, Orange Blossom Special, etc.? Or write a fiddle tune based on recordings of different environmental sounds, like the wind that shakes the barley, a laughing boy, the pigeon on the gate, etc.?
Sweet mandolin
Thanks! Love my Red Diamond :)
Top Thrill Ragster
That’s a pretty good tune!!
I thought it would only be fitting to go full circle and comment using AI to this perfectly fine sounding reel. Great job! I have spoken.
Only took an hour to write 🤣
And according to his son, Norman Blake wrote Last Train from Poor Valley in 20 minutes. Plus it has lyrics. 🙂
As an Ohioan, I approve.

Great little tune!
So why do I feel like this is "evil" is some way?

Now get Brittany Haas on fiddle and watch what she does with it!
