I’m currently in Philly and so upset by the amount of unhoused people. It’s always shocking and disappointing how little is done to help people. Praying for you two as always!

Oh boy I remember being homeless in my mid 20’s. I left my parents house because, my dad was just intolerable. He was mad at life & seemed to just take it out on everyone around him. It was crowded & just overall not a good environment. I remember sleeping from hotel, to hotel. Crashing with friends until I finally got my apartment! Don’t give up ❤

I just subscribed to your channel. I live in California and have friends that have either been homeless at one point or are currently homeless. The resources in my area are a joke. I feel so bad for people and wish things were easier for people. I have a friend on social security that lives in a section 8 apartment and he told me he was on a list for years before they even called him. Something needs to change. Be safe out there.

Does Jay have family in Louisiana? Have you thought about moving there? I’m sure it’s cheaper than California. I was living in my car too, but was fortunate to find a room to rent that is affordable, for now. God Bless.

Just subscribed I will keep you guys in my prayers, I live in a small city in Illinois and I always see mostly men that are homeless, my city don’t have much for men but mostly for women and children and abruisive relationships, I pray that God will put me in a position to change the current status of so many, no one should be homeless in the USA, land of the free and the opportunities, and it’s just everything with taxes and expenses in certain states are crazy a

I have question you were at the motel for a couple days and prior to that you were housesitting. Do you catch up on your sleep then? Because today you both sound very tired and I'm wondering if you did not catch up on any sleep the whole time you're away from the car? Maybe it's just that your emotions are down because you have to go back to the car which gives you lack of self-esteem and self-worth. I totally get that believe me! I keep you both in my prayers every single night by the way. I pray something comes along for the both of you. I just had that question was all.
Unfortunately we did not catch up. We have trouble sleeping +we had to wake up early every morning for jobs, interviews etc at when we were at the hotel. When we are at the housesit, it’s a job so we have to wake up early to care for the animals etc

Peppermint oil and water in a little spray bottle and spray at future spider entrances. Its good stuff.
Gotta add alcohol 95% is best.

Check into some apartment places that go by amount of what you get and it be hard because some apartment complexes do help homeless people
I can relate to the flimsy aluminum foil. The best thing is to buy the heavy duty.

Do you guys not have family that can either help you out or have you live with them for a while?
It's probably a long shot but I wanted to throw an idea out there. If you bank with a local credit union and ask them about their money market savings accounts you could potentially make money off of the interest as time goes by and still be able to access that money when needed. It's like a CD but you are able to access a certain amount from it. My gf and I have been in a rough spot near homelessness but our credit union here in Oregon helped us save some money this way. It's super hard to save anything these days but if you can you might as well make money while it is sitting around. I hope you guys see success. It's really tough out here in the PNW.

Definitely illegal, although some people do it. Ours doesn't have lighting,,outlets, bathrooms etc anyway ( but some people do live there)
They havee stronger foil . Or if you can find the foil pans open them up and tape them on your windows would be good. That moon roof window too

I have a friend who struggles with mental health, and even though she is not homeless, she can not work, so she does little things online to make money. I know you’re going through tough times, but if you want to have a successful TH-cam channel a little bit of personality or him talking to the camera might help. I don’t know what the point of having a channel is if you’re not actually invested in it? It almost seems like he doesn’t want to be recorded and then that makes it uncomfortable to watch.

If you are not comfortable with mental illness and the challenges that come with it, along with the added mental distress of living on the street, then this is not the channel for you.
This is a part of Jay's personality, he struggles significantly.
However, he is an extremely intelligent, sweet , funny person. If you'd like to get to know and see more of his personality, then please stick around or come to one of our lives sometime.
