As a mom I can’t imagine letting my kids and their families go hungry and without shelter, no matter what their ages. Our children are a gift. I don’t know your mom but hopefully she can find it in her heart to surround you both with love and kindness. I didn't even go to her funeral and I'm her only daughter (probably why she targetted me all her life), and we were relieved that she wasn't able to harass anybody else anymore...sad, but a choice she made. You need to just "break the chains" and I am a completely different mom and person than my mom. At least her mom is able to help a little bit. Helping them get a used car or van that runs and they can safely car camp in would turn everything around, IMHO that's what they need.

If my children were to lose their apartment my house will be over crowded. Because the streets no way. long as I’m here with a roof over my head they have one over theirs . As for food you take the food stamps add cash and shop only cook three meals a day . But for my love ones the street is not an option.
When we live in the car we only have one meal a day and a snack. When we have shelter we do cook and are able to eat more often!

Not all parents/or extended families act as if you exist. I’m a single divorced mom with a severe disability who in maybe a year will need a lot more help. My 2 teen daughters both go to school and work basically full time so they can keep us from being homeless. Some mothers shouldn’t have the luxury of having kids and not loving them. I’m a mom I would never let my kids go without. Being chronically ill doesn’t help. I have panic attacks every single day. I also came from a giant extended family that wants nothing to do with their crazy sister so we have no idea how we’re going to end up surviving. Stay strong I try to every day. ❤

Have you tried food pantries or food drives? They offer them at a lot of churches in my area. It’s unfortunate that your mom is acting like that toward you but keep pushing. It will be worth it when you get back on your feet.
Yes we have , I’ve also been better about sticking to budget but also when we have a housesit or shelter we can save a lot of food money because we can actually cook!

Check with your Doctor about having a blood test to see if you are low on Vitamin D and the B's ... those Vitamins can cause depression if you are low... I take my D and B's everyday with a meal... hope that helps... Listening to and dancing to music helps too...😃

I came across your spa day video and have been watching you ever since. I am staggered at the people who continue to misunderstand Jay, his intelligence, inability to be phony for the camera and commitment to you or assume that you have not tried some of the things they suggest or that you are not proactive in trying to change your living situation. Neither of you are lazy so it's just a matter of time and the right opportunity for your situation to change. For your mental health, you are better off together as each other's support system. Regarding your relationship what is understood by both of you and your bond does not need to be explained.
I saw someone suggest you do cam work to take advantage of Jay's looks. You have trauma from your prior job and other life experiences, you both have issues with depression and Jay's a hermit and an introvert and yet someone made the suggestion to do something like Only Fans to make money, smh.
Then there were people misinterpreting what you said about Louisiana and calling it bashing You were just stating facts. Louisiana has one of the highest poverty rates in the country and the State does not have the resources available to help the poor so what you said about LA vs CA in terms of what is available to you, is true.
Keep on doing your videos. If TH-cam has a place for people to post obnoxious haul videos showing luxury purchases, gluttonous Mukbangers who consume more food in one sitting than you both eat in a month, single mothers who ask supporters for money to help raise the children they've had with multiple dead beat "baby daddies" there is room for you and Jay to tell your story.
You already have a growing core group of supporters like myself that wish you the best and watch to support your views so stay focused and keep your head up.

I’m a mother and I would NEVER tell my child YOU CANNOT EAT MY FOOD it’s unbelievable when our 7 yr old son was diagnosed with cancer osteosarcoma 😭💔 it broke our hearts and we were devastated 😭💔

You are two able bodied adults. If you both got a job, you can get a place to live, have money for food. No one is obligated to take care of you. If people offer help temporarily, great. Yes life is rough, that's a given. You tackle one problem after another but you are a team.
Able bodied maybe but don’t forget about mental health and mental health struggles. Mental health distress can have a massively detrimental impact on one’s life, including having to experience homelessness.
Unfortunately, if some people don't have empathy or have been through Mental depression and health don't understand until they go through it or have a loved one, go through it. Blessings to you both 🙏 prayer, ask God to help in Jesus' name 🙏 . I have been in your shoes, and by the grace of God, I am not now, but anyone can become homeless if they lose their income . Some people don't realize how close they are from losing everything.

Your mind set will absolutely determine your quality of life even homeless. I was homeless living in my car with my daughter after leaving DV and no shelters had room for us. At first i was beyond depressed. I also suffer with complex ptsd and adhd. Everyone ive ever tslked to said that things start slowly changing when they changed their thoughts. You both are tired, exhausted, stressed, and its understandable. Life is so hard. Best wishes to you both
Even in the time we’ve been homeless, Al it has changed in our mindset, and for the better. At first , we just were traumatized and could do barely anything. Didn’t even want to live! Things are slowly getting better
Or buy a tent and use that to sleep in . If you hava few blankets use that for padding . Have solor to charge your phones and fans.they have tents at walmart for 25 dollars.

If Jay has an ID you two can get a state park disability pass and stay overnight at the campsites for $17.50, it is safe and you can shower. I was living in Fairfax CA but couldn't afford to stay there any longer so I moved to Redding CA because the rent is a lot cheaper up here. You can find a one-bedroom from $700 to $800 or a single for a lot cheaper. Redding is a bit of a city for work. Since Jay is on disability he probably could get housing up here a lot faster than SF. I have always been a city girl all my life never imagined living up here but I just couldn't afford the rent in LA or SF anymore. Hopefully, your car will make it to the state park. Lagunitas has a gorgeous state park in the Bay Area.
Our car doesn’t run. We also currently can’t afford 700-800 in rent. Thank you though, for these ideas!

my son works at amazon warehouse in charleston sc ..it's a huge employer , i bet he could get you both hired if you can make your way to charleston? he and his gf both work there, it's how they met...i hate to see such a sweet couple homeless..
I wouldn't dream of talking for them, but it seems to me that they want to stay in California even if they are able to get a new (used) car. In another video, she goes over both their mental health challenges, one of which is Jay needing to sleep a lot during the day. He d-o-e-s get SSDI, which she said they both live on, as well as his and her food stamps and these occasional house cleaning/pet babysitting jobs. That would be great if she was able to get a full-time job, which would help enormously in getting maybe a car loan paid off...used car places will even give your "financing" if you have any sort of full-time job. It seems they take these infrequent, poorly paying house cleaning/pet sitting jobs just for a place to sleep instead of sleeping in their bug-infested and uncomfortable car. I know a lot of people who "car camp" and if they were able to get a new-to-them clean, working car or van, they could "sleep" in that at night (which she says they can't now in the old car) and she could be able to work a full-time job. That just seems to me to be what is holding them back right now.

I just had an idea ? Why not try on cruises ships ? Ive worked as a travel consultant for 27 years and also worked fir airlines etc.
And i know for a fact that many cruises lines hires couples because they are more steady you know they dont have a bf, gf, hubby, wife waiting for them at home! And there's many opportunities on a ships like endless !

@@CowMoobaby ok. I went to see older videos. I found something online and shared it to them. It's welfare help but county not state. They help with cash food housing utilities clothing ECT. I have dealt with few county welfares in my life and they do more then state does. Een salvation army. I know the salvation army in bullheady city Arizona they give out sack lunches with water and have a site right there to shower. I'm fifty six yrs old and I been doing this for a long time. Each time I left a marriage or relationship and needed help they were right there. They even give bus tickets to go somewhere else. Say she knew me and wanted to. Come here they would get them both a ticket to come here. And I know on my food stamp app there are shit load of jobs

I think in an unorthodox, but mostly logical way. With that being said, with you guys being a couple, have you thought about doing adult online cam work?
