Hello everyone, welcome to Koko3op, (Yes, we are named after the EXO song as we are EXOL's at heart) a club night based in London however we are also content creators that will provide K-Pop lovers with reaction videos and many many more!

The Rose is underrated gold! Their songs don't get old. She's in the Rain is one of my favorite songs ever.
Okay, Woosung is just ... perfect. His voice is like raw silk with its natural texture that makes the whole cloth shine beautifully and subtly. You see him and he's visually magnetic, drawing you in and making you want to watch and listen to him. And well into the video, you realize he's not even the group's visual. Like, wait, there's a beauty considered more beautiful? With jaws which could cut diamonds, he and maknae Jaehyeong give visuals on visuals. Add Dojoon's lush vocals, and Hajoon's backing everything up and rounding out the sound, and they're a wonderful group. Woosung's doing solo stuff while the other members are in the military (why don't more groups send all their members at the same time!?), and seems to have a lot more coming for us. I'm _excited_ to see what he's got upcoming, because he's said 'Lazy' was actually a couple years old. Either way, they're definitely ones to watch, and I won't be mad if you decide to listen to or watch more with them in it. ❤

I can’t believe they are not so much bigger than they are ! I absolutely love their voices and their style. I don’t really think of them as kpop. You know how western music has the category, “alternative”, maybe this is alternative kpop genre, or, don’t hate me, but, sophisticated kpop? Thank you for doing this ! You just made my day happier.

@@Koko3op I think the views are not higher because of the label they were under. I don’t think they got a lot of press. Some of these labels think it is easy to form a group, make a cd, and then sit back and ride the success of the kpop industry. But those successful kpop groups have labels who work tirelessly for them, and invest a lot of time and money. There are many, many more failures in kpop, then there are successful groups and solo stars. Sadly, not all labels should be in the business. And their label was one of those, unfortunately.
@@Koko3op Stanning The Rose is the gateway to other Kbands, like Lucy, Hoppipolla, Dickpunks, and many more. It's a rabbit hole that will lead you to amazing music, but not many views. It's the international fans' frustration with the Korean market.

@@cyann410 If you like bands, there's a Korean tv show called Superband on JTBC that you should check out. They are nearing the end of the second season now. The performances are on Naver, and most of the second season is also on TH-cam, the JTBC Music channel.
Oh gosh, "Black Rose".... that song and She's In The Rain both make me cry every time lol. The Rose is so incredibly underrated for how talented they are. They started as street buskers before they got picked up by their previous label (and I see you already know that unfortunately didn't go so well). "Black Rose" was released as a gift to fans while all of the legal battles were going on, to thank us for supporting them. All of their songs are just so amazing: they are great performers and they all sing well. People keep describing Woosung's voice as "he sings in cursive" and I haven't heard a better description. 😂
I really, really hope you react to some of their live performances because they are even better live (I'll head to Patreon if you put them there). One of my favorite live performances is their cover of ILYSB... so lowkey but such a great vocal display. I think it is really impressive how much emotion they can put into their voices. It's a big regret of mine that they actually performed a show in my city... but I didn't know about them yet! I've never regretted being late to a group so much before!!

The rose is a severely underrated group, they write, produce and arrange most of their songs on their own, all of them can sing and play instruments as well. They are so talented but unfortunately did not get the support from their company. The members filed suit against their company for failing to pay them since debut. Luckily they won and were able to terminate their contracts with the company (i’m not sure if they were ever paid what they were owed) Unfortunately after that, Dojoon, Hajoon and Jaehyeong enlisted in the military but Woosung said recently that he and the members are still working on new music and plan to release more once the members finish their military service.
So until then, we wait 🌹

Oh if it isn’t one of the most underrated artists ever!!! The Rose is so amazing man and i’m bummed i discovered them so late, but thankful at the same time because at least i got to know them now. Black Rose is a song for their fans, the blackroses, which is both a gift and a promise. No one is going anywhere no matter what!! 🥺

I attended their concert and Radio live last December 2019 and it was the most stressful and tiring days of my year but also was super worth it! 😭 the amount of tears I cried during their ILY performance 😭

Seeing people love The Rose just makes me so happy! Woosung and Dojoon‘s voices compliment each other really well, and while Dojoon is my favorite vocal in The Rose, Woosung just has something really special.

The Rose is underrated band and lack of exposure. But I managed to attend one of their concert before hiatus and that was one of the best decisions I have ever made. They sounds better on live stage and I’ve fallen into them deeper after the concert. The post concert depression was no joke. They produced their own songs (like svt 😍) which is why I felt comfortable and able to absorb their songs better. They worked on lyrics together and Jaehyung (bassist) normally do the composing (i think) and arrangements. They all can sing, they have their own singing slot during We Rose You tour. They also a major dork, extra and so on!
Sometimes woosung will add another adlib on 3:53 during their concert, which I love it and cannot unheard it everytime i listen to Sorry.
I love to recommend Take Me Down, Insomnia, I.L.Y., California….like all of their songs 🤣🤣 They also do OSTs!

Same, I saw them on the 2019 tour, and it was such a great show! I was most excited to hear Baby and Red live, and they were even better than I'd hoped for. I will never forget that beat in Baby after the first chorus (@ 6:38) - istg I felt it in my soul. I was really so impressed by all of them, and I hope I get the chance to see them again!
@@ree7442 Same here, 2019 too! you must have enjoyed woosung’s legendary neck roll! 🤣🤣 For me, it’s like dream come true. The band that i watched on tv are playing in front of me! I still keep some of the clips during the concert and dang, it makes me miss them more!

Ugh I love the rose so much! Went to see them live and it was magical
I literally cried whenever I hear Black Rose. Fyi they we're mistreated by their company. Last year, they filled a lawsuit to their company bcs the agency failed to provide any payment since their debut and that it demanded a rigorous promotional schedule. Which means they were just straight away robbed. Hate the company. But then few months after, they release Black Rose which is a song for the fan.

The Rose is still considered kpop, kpop is not a genre, and encompasses every genre of music, the concept of kpop groups that were actual bands started in 2007 when F.T. Island debuted and were like an experiment to see how the public would react, and when it worked almost all kpop companies tried at least one band group, but only the ones that were actually talented survived, though because most music shows are so afraid of looking bad or mistakes, there’s always a backing track, at least, and lip syncing a lot, and because of this most groups with the band concept don’t get to promote as much because they literally have to just pretend to play their instruments and stuff if they do go on them
All of them are great singers and also all of them are rappers! All of them are good dancers too! Very very underrated! Plus all four of them co-write their own songs!

Love them so much and they are so under rated. Hope you consider listening to songs from their new Heal album. I'd say "Sour" , "Time" or "Definition of Ugly is" but honestly there isn't a bad song

There's a lot of good K-rock artists!
I'd recommend you give a listen to Manggakhwa in your free time, you won't get views because he was from the underground rock scene in Korea end of the 90s/early 2000s and not a lot of people know about his solo activities (so I don't think there's any point for you to make a reaction video) but his songs are great. Unfortunately he quit doing music a while ago.
