Adam wrote this when he was in rehab the first time, I believe. Luckily now he is totally clean and sober, living with his family and making awesome music. And yes, he has such a unique voice and style of playing. Three Days Grace isn't the same without him. But at least he has his new band Saint Asonia. I'd suggest checking them out too.
I was completely obsesssssssedd with this band in the early 2000s. This music was my medicine, it had a healing power over me . I saw them concert twice. It was like a religious experience!!!

I loved - and I mean looooooved - Three Days Grace 10-15 years ago, before the original vocalist (Adam Gontier) left. They're still good, just... not the same :( (you should try "Animal I have become", "Pain", "Never too late" or "Break" from that era)
I feel the same; I only listen to the stuff with Adam. The new stuff just doesn't have the same impact, except for maybe "Painkiller" and "I Am Machine".

This is the second best song on a recording full of great songs, yet it never got any airplay that I heard of. And, it looks like you feel the same way I do when you hear Adam Gontier’s voice. If you want to hear him with another band check out Apocalyptica, I Don’t Care, but do the shorter version of the song. It is the better one.

Wait... RIP? (you scared me a bit there, had to double check, lol) If you mean Adam Gontier, he's still alive - vocalist in the band Saint Asonia now. Also did a few collabs in between... the ones with Apocalyptica and Breaking Benjamin are pretty good.
