The neighbor wang thing is actually a joke in China. If someone says you're neighbor wang's kid or something in those lines, it means your mom cheated on her husband with their neighbor Mr Wang and conceived you. Which of course, Mr Wang knows that you're his kid while your father hasn't the slightest clue

The red scarf that is “dyed by blood” is an actual thing in China. It’s very common for students to be wearing during school hours and most of the time it’s a part of the uniform. It’s there in remembrance for the Chinese martyrs who died in the revolutionary war.

Gosh the game is so...direct. They literally said “save face” or “lose face” in Chinese (if you translate it is the most direct way possibly) it is 丟臉 which means to embarrass your self. I lOvE tHiS gAmE

@@ChaoticallyCosmic The stereotypical asian parents are the ones who thinks everything you do is entitled to them. Every achievement, every hardwork, every good thing is all because of THEM not YOU. Therefore, you must always feel grateful they gave birth to you. They want us to study in high grades and get jobs like Doctors and Lawyers because it's a smart people's job. We don't usually have the courage to speak up because they'll consider it as disobedience and displine us physically and emotionally.
But for real tho, most were like this in the past but now not so much where I live in. Children finally get some rights.

My dear Gray, I advise you to try the game We. The Revolution in which you play as a judge during the French revolution. And boy oh boy isn't it one of the craziest games that I ever saw! And just to give you an example, you can send your son to the *FREAKING GUILLOTINE!* Now I know that you don't record long story driven games anymore, but just try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

Lose face is like the image that you carry around, “your brand.” When someone is meeting you for the first time in China most of the times they will try to carry out the act of “showing face” where they try to be the best host or person to you to gain your respect. I’ve been to China and had an experience like this once, it was life changing and very eye opening for me as a young boy at the time.
But westerners do that also, maybe not call it ''your brand'', but they also put on an act to hide their short comings to be more likable.

This playthrough was basically my life story, except I'm in the US, and I didn't get to choose any of the options. Waiting patiently during forced childhood abuse, then waiting to die from Crohn's disease. Seems based on a roughly reasonable psychological model to me.

We are not ruining the world or land we inhabit and even if certain types of romani are toxic you should keep in mind that theres different sub-groups which differ hugely.
If your accepting of anyone else culture/race wise such as Hispanics, Indians, Africans and others than you should except romani as well.
Every culture has its bad history and traditions so you really shouldnt say anything about us, especially if you like to think your a person who doesn't discriminate, unless you don't think that your non-discriminatory, in which case your just an extremely simple minded person.
