I moved here from London. 18 years later, I still find the natural beauty all around to be surreal. Cape Town is truly a beautiful city to live in and the people are very welcoming and warm.
Aren't bothered just a slightly bit by the fact that your ancestor stole the land to black people, raped their women and pillage the land so that you can enjoy your beauty sleep???
Cape Town is one of the few places I've visited twice. I usually am satisfied seeing a place once, but I loved Cape Town so much, I returned and brought someone with me to enjoy that wonderful area.
@@555125kevin Johannesburg is far much better. You can't say CT is the most beautiful city in the World when u have only visited 5 out of 15k cities in the world.
I lived in many cities around the World for work and I have to say, Cape Town was the best. It has beautiful beaches, amazing food, great places to shop, plenty to do, great for outdoor living, the most beautiful areas, and a nice relaxed atmosphere
Went to university in CT and then lived there for 10 years in the '90. It was a fantastic time to be alive. Have so many great memories of kreefing, kloofing, surfing, climbing the mountains etc - the city and the people who live there have a special kind of energy. Much like Sydney its really a collection of communities/neighbourhoods which makes it quite interesting indeed. I have been fortunate enough to visit Rio, Sydney, San Francisco and Vancouver and I would still rate Cape Town as coming up trumps.
I agree with you about Cape town being much like Sydney. Only thing for me. My family is in Australia. And not many left here in South Africa. Sad drawback
Thank you Wilbur Smith for telling stories about Africa and Cape Town. 🙏🏻 Table Mountain was my main reason to visit and my first view from outside my Fountains Hotel made me stop and gasp. It must be one of the wonders of the world.
As a Proud South African, I am so glad to read from so many people , who consider South Africa as a beautiful country ,and enjoyed their stay in this breathtaking city of Cape Town ! I love my country so much ❤🇿🇦 God bless South Africa It is certain that , every one has its own view on what country they consider as paradise on earth for themselves. As a matter of fact, I personally consider South Africa as a country that is in my opinion refers to a true paradise on earth🥰😍 South Africa's incredible nature and landscapes do not need any photoshop. As the Africa's beauty is pure and breathtaking and definitely does not need any photoshop. Moreover, I have heard from many people who have visited this beautiful country and had a strong desire to return multiple times to spend their vacation in South Africa. Certainly, there's something special about this country that makes people want to re visit it again and again. Once again, I'm truly happy to see that so many people did enjoy and had an amazing experience whilst visiting my beautiful South Africa ❤🇿🇦
I feel so privileged to live in Cape Town. We relocated from Gauteng many years ago, and have never looked back. Not even the South Easter will get me to leave, love Cape Town. Thank you for a beautiful video.
Yes, I agree that Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I visitied CT twice, nice people including my close friend live there. Hightly Recommending, also with Hout Bay and the Botanic Garden. Thanks, always enjoying the clips.
Thanks for the upload. Fond memories of this city. I wouldn’t say it was THE most beautiful city in the World, however Cape Province certainly has a landscape which is absolutely breathtaking and certainly qualifies as the most beautiful on earth.
j'ai deja visité waterfront c'est beau avec beaucoup de restaurant ,des boutiques ......des concerts de musique et bien d'autres choses. c'est agreable vraiment
I got to visit Cape Town for a month in 1999. I stayed in Camp's Bay. I'll remember the trip forever. The ocean is freezing cold, btw. The water comes up from the Antarctic. That's why we hardly see anyone frolicking in the water. Many wear wetsuits.
Since August 1979, I travel at least once a year to CPT and have seen the city develop niceley, at least on the side of the Table Mountain you show here in the video. Obviously, the life of the many milions of people living in the flat suburbs around the airport is completely different. And for your next tript to the Mother City, go and visit Llandudno, the most expensive place to live and go for a beach walk in Bloubergstrand with the best views of the Table Mountain!
There can be no better Cape Town video than this! Thank you so much for showcasing it so beautifully. I'm always awed by the steadiness of your hand. Toujours un contenu magnifique. 💥❤🔥 P.S. I'm living in this gorgeous city.😌

Durban is a beautiful city but unfortunately the Nigerians and the zulus have destroyed Durban terribly which is not as safe as it use to be...this is why we are trying our best to protect Capetown from the zulus and Nigerians...otherwise it would be a mess if not protected from these hooligans.
I went there in november 2022, it was amazing. From the majestic table mountain to the wild cape of good hope, i really enjoyed my time there. I shopped at V&A waterfront but for me the best place to shop was canal walk in century city which is a few kilometres from the city centre. 😊
I didn’t know tourists can reach that far😂, I love how high-end Waterfront is but Canal Walk is so specious you get time to think and enjoy your shopping.
Beautiful view. I really appreciate that there are no high rise buildings. The view is much more beautiful without tall buildings. The beach is beautiful.
In the early 1970s there was huge controversy about the three high-rise towers of apartments built close to the base of Table Mountain. Since then, for obvious reasons, they have been called the Tampax Towers.😂
Awesome. I was coming home sometimes twice a year. Longest stay was 10 months. However, I would love to see the day that poverty ends for the less fortunate in the surrounding poor townships of Cape Town.
Such a wonderful immersive video, the Cape is on my bucket list and you showed it very well. So peaceful it seems. Side note the music used in your video was well done.
Thank you for posting. Some of the seaside scenes and coastal drives remind me so much of my native Australia. The similarity is quite remarkable. Regrettably, South Africa remains the only former Dominion of the British Empire I have yet to visit. With the help of a sympathetic bank manager I hope one day I may be able to visit.
Nice beach. Nice music. And a very steady hand. All in all, I think I'd rather go over the side of the mountain with that young lad ... 😊Onward, dear LTE!!
I have not been to South Africa yet, perhaps I might combine it with another trip doing Cape Town as a stop over or something... Interesting video, thanks for sharing
And...we are finally here, after watching your videos a dozen times 😂, we stay about a month and did all your tips: spent new year's eve at the water front (crazyyy) came back 3 times there (in love❤) the TIME OUT (great food with jazz band !!) Magical place, also the TABE MOUNTAIN (great !! great!!) the beachs, the GEITZ MOCCA at SILO ,drinks at SILO rooftop, tea at ONE & ONLY the beaches, ⛵️ sailing...And tomorrow we leave fir a 3 days trip visiting the great farm wineries 🍷 ❤❤😊😊
Thanx a million to the Luxury Travel Expert for this absolute super video clip. Giving us poor inland bastards a chance to experience the dream places what we otherwise wouldn't experience. I’m curious if, each time you return to CapeTown, do you ever wander back to the neighborhood you lived in or the hospital you did your training in just to reminisce and see old friends? 🤔. I’ve done that but sadly, this past December the last of my Colleagues died. I’ve outlived all of them. 😕
