My cat stared at the corner of the room for half an hour, didn't respond to a bag of treats being shaken or a can of food being opened. He just stared. It was the anniversary of my dad's passing, and imo dad dropped by to say hello.
Did he accidentally ate some special brownies?

one of my calico cat gave strange reaction when there were someone dying around neighborhood. she was calm cat. suddenly one day she started running around the house like crazy up and down the stairs and made all the mess. she spayed at young age so it wasn't her heat.
we couldn't calm her down. hugging and cuddling didn't work. eventually she stopped herself after dawn. and the morning we heard that someone in neighborhood passing away.
this happened 3 times. all the same patterns.

@Mallory Poling she was very sensitive unsocial cat. She wasn't like that before, she was normal kitten who always play with her trio brothers (she was the only girl of 4 siblings) Her behavior change after she released from clinic due to panleukopenia virus who killed 2 of her brothers at the age of 6 months old. She was more shy and like to be alone although she always sleep together with her only survived brother. Her first experience with ghost was few months after that. After the scary zoomies, she always curl herself with her fur straight up as if she had cold for one or two days, except when she sleep and eat.
Now she will be 7 y/o on January 2021. She already experienced it three times. Actually we moved when she was 2 y/o after she was having first ghost experience. She's got her second and third experience in our new house. So that wasn't coincidence.
My cat def knew if a bad presence was around once it hissed at the locked door when we were the only ones home and it’s interacted with something “not there”

My cat Magic has been sitting and staring up towards the stove for the past few months.
It's like she's watching a bug or something move around, and randomly her attention shoots down and to her the right at the floor, before her focus shoots right back at the oven overhang thingy with the fan and light, I cleaned the whole thing and made sure there wasn't anything moving that could catch a cats attention.
But no matter what, lights on or off, fans blowing in any direction.
She just sits there, up to an hour or more at a time just focusing on the area by the oven before shifting her attention to her right, litterally as if she's looking at a toy moving through the air.
Idk what to make of it, I'm a knower of the paranormal, but I can't can't say anything for either side.
I think my cats can totally see things like spirits and they keep negativity away.

I've literally seen spirits before, they follow me (usually family who has past, no dark spirits, so far!) and my black cat will stare at the ceiling for basically no reason for long periods of time. Sometimes I look in the same direction and say hi to whomever is visiting - haha!

What does a spirit look like?
@@florencia2771 sometimes you can't see them, you sense them. But when you can see them they usually (not always) look like an orb. Sometimes you can only see the orbs in pictures or videos. And sometimes you can even see them in their human form. 😎 ✌
Demons will pretend to be "nice spirits" when it suits their evil purposes.
The week before my little cat, Molly, passed away, I saw her on her back legs begging but looking up at the ceiling. I truly believe she could see something.

I love cats ! I seem to attract them and YES I do believe they can see things we can't. I had two cats that would never go all the way down to the basement floor of a house I used to own that we lived in .They would go no farther than the middle of the steps. I really didn't give much thought to it at the time but one morning I was in the basement washing clothes when I looked over at them and noticed that their ears were down, fur standing up on their backs and tails whipping while staring out into empty space. I turned to look but saw nothing. That very same night while in bed at around 2AM I was awakened by the movement of my cats who were on the bed at the foot of it, staring at the wall with tails whipping fur standing up ears down and growling ! From the day we moved in that house I never felt comfortable with it but didn't quite know why. I sold the house and moved to another one in another town and not had anymore of that behavior since. They knew something I didn't ! BELIEVE IT ! They can warn you !

I have been with my cat for 13 years and I got her when she was very small. We communicate with each other very efficiently. Sometimes she see things I can't see and really tries to tell me about it. She's an interesting girl.
My black cat Sabrina never got along with my dad's grumpy cat Rusty. Sadly Rusty passed away a month ago at the age of 15. Ever since then, Sabrina's been having a grand old time exploring the rooms Rusty claimed as his territory. But she won't go underneath or on top of my dad's bed, where Rusty loved to sleep. If I place her on top of the bed, she immediately jumps off. No amount of coaxing or treats will tempt her. I've watched her try to go under the bed several times, but she always quickly slips out and runs from the room, like she's afraid Rusty will get her from beyond the grave.
My cats Poncan and Moshmosh were like that. Never got along. Then when Moshmosh passed, Poncan was depressed. He started yowling around the house as if he’s calling for his brother he had a love-hate relationship with. It still makes me cry. He did that for weeks so I know it’s no coincidence. :(
We had 2 cats (brothers). 1 was a pure white manx;Bear and the other a true full black cat;Max. There was a basement where we lived and Bear loved it down there; Max on the other hand hated it. Years later when the house was torn down; in the foundation between tbe 2 houses; they found a woman buried there. Explain that please!?!

Cats have an excellent sense of smell. Even a buried cadaver can be smelled by cats & dogs.
Both cats could smell the corpse. Bear was curious about it and Max's dislike of the smell was bigger than his curiosity
I move we replace The Grim Reaper with Oscar the guardian of mortality. I love the thought that if I had the bad luck to die in an institution, I could die with a cat beside me. No matter what pain death brings, it seems to me a cat would tend to be calming. It's more interesting to me to think scientifically about how Oscar the cat was predicting death so accurately and why he chose to sleep by dieing people. Was it that he wanted to be undisturbed? As a cat, why sleep by a creature if you know from experience that they will quickly lose that nice warm body heat you are gathering? Cats are creatures of habit who react to changes in routine more dependably than we do, still lots of folk also claim their cats know when they are sick and dutifully visit them. It all makes you susupet that Oskar's senses really did give him feedback in some way people and our technology just can't do.

i started to believe so as well. you know something is there when both stop what they doing at the same time at stare at the same spot or move their heads in the same direction.
I live in public housing and even the staff have witnessed things move with no explanation and my cat will hiss at something I can't see and stares at certain corners and the ceiling

They aren't nearsighted, in fact they don't see very well up close. If anything they are typically more farsighted than people.
If ghost are a thing, I doubt not that cats are more aware than I am, but there are plenty of things far more unimaginable to me that they could be sensing. They can pick up on carbon monoxide and other air contaminants before humans as well as pressure changes that can tip them off to extreme weather far before humans notice anything different. An incredible amount of how they conceptualize things has to do with smell and whisker sensing.
Cats have extremely sensitive vision, especially minute movements of things. Different air temperatures in a room creates vortices that are completely undetectable to us, but to a cat, the slight difference in refraction the different air densities create as they swirl around each other is visible to them. This is what they are looking at, the effect of minute differences in light refraction.

I wish I could have a cat or dog, but my mom is allergic
I was allergic too but I got two of my own and my immune system fought of the allergies from their saliva after a while. I got symptoms for about a month after I got my first cat but then it just went away. No symptoms when I got my kitten. Now I’m always with my two. Our bodies are stronger than we think ☺️ id say try to care for one depending on how bad your symptoms are, they could easily be fought against if they’re not bad. I had bad red itchy swollen eyes, sneezing, coughing, and even the common cold from my allergies. Now they’re all gone. If your symptoms are worse then I’m not sure.
Man my cat waiting for me by the bathroom,came to my room. Immediately under the window pane and my bed. I'm trying to get him out,he leaves as i crawl in bed he bats my foot. Im like..? Play? He looked at me with huge eyes and looked beside me and above me.. I'm looking into his eyes and was like what do you see?

My mom had a little black cat I found living in a junk truck as a kitten. That cat was so attached to my mom they were inseparable. My mom has MS and was in an electric wheelchair and the cat sat on the back of the seat with her head on my mom's shoulder all the time and slept in my mom's bed with her head right next to my mom's on the pillow. Shortly before my mom passed I was laying down watching TV and the cat came in and spoke to me in a human voice. And I mean a clear human voice but somehow it was the cat's voice. I really thought I dozed off and dreamed it. I went into my mom's room to check on her and the first thing she said to to me was "Did Princess just talk?" The weird part is somehow the voice was very familiar but at the same time I recognized it as Princess's voice. It was really strange and I really never talk about it because I don't want people to think I'm crazy

Something really creeped me out the other day . I was sitting on my living room sofa with my cat lying beside me. All of a sudden he lifted his head and looked toward the door of a sealed off room. Then he got up,walked toward the door and stared for 30-40 seconds more 😳
I don't have a cat but today I was sitting in my car and a cat came and sat in front of my living room window and just stared for 10 mins... the window the cat was staring at my son's dad ashes sit in the window.. I think it's Time for me to release the ashes

I lost my second oldest cat 6 days before christmas who was like a mother and a sister to our youngest cat few days after her passing the youngest one started staring at bottom of bed it would go on for hours and it wasnt a typical cat stare she was confrontational toward this one spot i dont believe it was my dead cat i believe it was something more sinister freaking my youngest one out and usually if i sense something good i get a sense of peace i didnt though i was quite worried took pic on phone could make out a black mishapen mass
Had a poltergeist haunting for a while and the windows would just randomly rattle and his eyes would fixat towards that window for minutes on end.

Animals can smell changes in a human's body IF the animal is familiar with healthy human scents. It's amazing what animals can do. Dogs can find cancer on people and some have been trained for diagnosing it. How do cats do all this odd stuff, anyway?

My cat runs lot and he always stares at me alone like someone is standing next to me
I worked at a nursing home and one woman kept screaming one day about a white cat watching her and coming closer, but there was no cat to be seen. "Don't you see it! There's a white cat! Right there!" but none of us saw anything where she pointed. She was frantic the whole night about this cat coming closer. The woman passed away the following morning.
Another thing I had happen, is my cat Danni used to obsessively chase nothing in the house, usually lasting a few days, batting at windows and walls and floors, meowing at the ceiling, she wouldn't even want to cuddle or eat much during this. She did this only 3 times in her life so far, and each time someone passed in the household (a dog passed, then another cat passed and my ferret passed) After someone's passing, Danni would stop chasing and go back to normal. I hope she doesn't do this again someday, I will be scared.

Dear people, those "things that aren't/weren't there" are/were actually there. Just because you can't see them doesnt mean no none can. Your cat's eyes are way better than yours.The other day my cat was watching a tiny baby fruit fly which was moving between the layers of a not so-thin-curtain in a dark room.. If i was a less rational person than i am, i probably wouldnt have inspected this and just thought it to be a ghost.

I do. The night before my step daughter's funeral, I saw a black shadow, I couldn't see my closet or part of a wall. I counted to 30 and it didn't leave. I covered my head under my bed covers, next thing I know I hear a noise. I uncovered myself, next thing I see is no shadow, and my cat was on the table.
If your cat is staring at something don't look in their eyes or you'll see the devil.
