Out of any K-pop idol out there, Jungkook is the one that could cross over into the western music market. Watch for him, he will have another single this fall and around November his first solo album
Well he is the youngest, the rest are pushing 30 or are already 30 and above so they have to go to military. Jimin is the best idol and will probably be more successful than jungkook in Asia while also doing decently in western countries but even he has to go soon
71 year old BTS Army here. Jung Kook is the main vocalist of BTS, but this song really has nothing to do with Kpop other than Jung Kook is S. Korean. It was written by Canadian Producer Cirkut, who has produced for "The Weekend", Grammy nominated American producer Andrew Watt who has produced for Justin Bieber, singer/songwriter John Bellion plus one other. It was also produced by Circut and Andrew Watt and recorded in L.A. The MV was filmed at Universal Studios in Hollywood.
BTW, This song had 100+ million views on youtube in the first 10 days and is the fastest song ever to reach 100 million streams on Spotify. Jung Kook's "Seven" feat. Latto the biggest streaming debut in Spotify history. Now, he has broken more records. He is the fastest male act in spotify history to surpass 400 million streams - 33 days, surpassing songs like "As It Was" by Harry Styles.

As everyone has said JungKook is the main vocalist and the youngest of BTS ! He actually by our standards of age 14 left home to become trainee for BTS so the other boys practically raised him! They all seven lived together until 2021. They debut in 2013. JungKook has several solos within the group but this is his first official solo! Since they are on hiatus do to mandatory military service they are all taking turns releasing solo albums. V just released to videos Love me again and Rainy Days! He’s our Baritone voice ! You should check him out!

Thanks for reacting. If you react to more BTS I will be returning. You should get to know more about this ground breaking group that has paved the way for the other KPop groups today. The have spoken at the United Nations three times and the White House. They have broken records that The Beatles held. I was in third grade in the 60s when the Beatles first played in the USA and BTS is the closest comparison to that phenomenon. They aren’t the same but there are many parallels.
I think you eventually got that the video isn’t to be taken seriously. Jung Kook (JK) says the song is about the guy will do anything for his love, no matter the chaos. He only has eyes for her while all this craziness is happening around them. I’m curious who came up with the concept for the video.
So, you have listened to BTS. I was thinking since you didn’t know if you were saying his name right that you hadn’t listened to them. if you don’t know, his position is the Main Vocalist of BTS. This is his first solo track. They did release a couple of songs that he wrote to Army as a pre-release to this song, but they aren’t new songs. “Still With You” and “My You”. He was listed in Rolling Stone Magazine as having one of the top 200 best voices of all time.
He was chosen as the first Korean to sing the song for the FIFA World Cup. That song is great, called “Dreamers”. And he sang the big summer hit last summer with Charlie Puth called “Left and Right”.
