anyone getting into engraving should really look at Steve's stuff. I cut glass for decades and wanted to get into metal as well. It did not take long to find his graving points.. if you want the best. Those simple templates have an enormous amount of thought built into them. He was good enough to make me a finished graver point in the beginning. I will never forget! All these years later how it flowed like butter through the metal. His points and designs cut cirlces around anything I had before.. many years later I still use them .............Thank also Steve!
It would be really lovely if someone one actually filmed the entire process (start to finish of filing/grinding/shaping and polishing )a blank graver to onglette using the lindsay onglette template. You at least talked through some of it but would be nice for people to actually see all the steps
Grs onglette come in different sizes from 0 to 4 I believe.. is it possible to get those sizes qith this template? Is it simply grinding more to get a smaller size onglette?

Can the onglette template be used manually on diamond plates, or is a rotary hone necessary?
Yes it can be used only in diamond plates (takes longer)
