Ford F-150/F-250: How to Reset Your Change Oil Light on 2004 - 2010 Models

This video shows how to reset the maintenance light on most Ford , Lincoln, Mercury models. This exact Ford is a 2010 Ford F-150. Below are instructions to follow.
Step 1. Turn the ignition to run, one position before starting engine.
Step 2. Press and release the SELECT/RESET stem to display OIL LIFE = XXX% HOLD RESET = NEW.
Step 3. Press and hold the SELECT/RESET stem for two seconds and release. Oil life is set to 100% and “OIL LIFE SET TO 100%” is displayed. Picture below.
Step 4. While “OIL LIFE SET TO 100%” is displayed, if a lower oil life start value is desired, press and release the RESET control to reduce the start value. Each press of the SELECT/RESET stem reduces the value by 10 percent.

2007 doesn’t do what you described. There is no option for setup menu.
