I was at an estate sale a few years ago and picked up a Schlitz metal serving tray... Agreed skunk beer but brought back memories when I was younger with family long past away. So it got mounted as wall art in the shop.

Lizards can walk up walls. Maybe you could find a good spot to screw it onto the ceiling at a jaunty angle where it can keep an eye on your shop! Wherever you put it, it has too much character to not have a name. You should name! 👍😁😎
The dragon instantly reminded me of Stacy Keach in the Cheech and Chong movie "Nice Dreams" . An idea for a video, maybe show several of the things you got at the market and cleaned up/restored/made usuable but didn't video the process. Just a before / after . Thanks brother loving the videos.
Hey Patrick. Oh ya I forgot all about that! I was actually thinking about doing something like that as long as I can remember to take a before picture. I'm glad you're enjoying the videos and I appreciate that! Hope your doing alright.
Thanks Brother! We are going to go camping this Fall just trying to figure out when..You guys take care and it's always good to hear from you. Don't forget you know where I am.
Maybe weld an unusable vice for the Dragon's midsection and get Schlitz faced after. Or have some good beer instead. Thanks again, George. Always enjoy
The stillson wrench is incredible, it is art…love the match safe, that is a nice job, love to see it cleaned, love the stove lol. Very cool non tool stuff. 😂 some nice tools too…..
Great looking treasures! I like the "dragon" piece! The glasses are very nice and the Bernard's are super neat! Thanks again and see you next time, and have a Happy Father's day
Excellent haul as usual George. I'm in England and was on holiday last week. We found a lovely old 'Junk Shop' and I picked up an old Glasses Case FULL of watchmakers needle files and drill bits. 'How much please' ? 50p ! That's about 60cents ! Sadly, no other tools in there, but I was happy to get out with my bargain ! Thanks for showing your videos George - great Sunday morning viewing. Take care 🙂
Hi Michael that's pretty cool. I love going to the junk shops sadly the one's we have here are usually Very expensive..It's fun finding odd ball stuff. That's a great deal on those files and bits. Take care and keep me posted on your finds. I appreciate it.
George, it's the year of the Dragon! Nice pick up on the lawn dragon! Schlitz was a $1.65 a six back in 72, so that $20 would get you 3 cases, awful beer, but nice glasses! Thanks for bringing me back. Enjoy your haul and restoration videos, keep em coming!
The blue handled small nippers are actually spruce cutters. As a model railroader ( 1/2 the basement is model railroad, the other 1/2 shop ) I use these all the time. When you buy a model of something, could be a model car, plane, building ect, the part is attached to what is called a spruce. This is used to cut it off to assemble. They are sold by a company that sells modeling tools. From hand tools to mini mills and mini lathe. It's called micro-mark. By the way... I thought the lizard was cool!!!! Have a Jesus filled day everyone Greg in Michigan
Thanks Greg! I know my son purchased some nippers for his model building and they were very expensive but cut close like a razor. {I use regular snips and a file I know it's the hard way } Your model rail road sounds very cool!!! I'll pass on the micro mark info to him. Take care Buddy and hope you have a good Sunday!
Cool stuff with the glasses and Iguana. You're right about Schlitz not being good. My dad used to drink that and Old Milwaukee. Arc joints was probably a Craftsman thing since they couldn't call them Channellock. That speaker wire is expensive so excellent deal! Wink wink. Boy scouts had a lot of nice camping gear that are usually good quality. I guess my favorite is the yard art. Happy Fathers day. Hope you gte to relax. Great video George!👍🏻😎
Mike,Mike,Mike! Thanks Brother. Old Mildew!!!! That was some something...we used to drink it Waaay back in the day! I'd never seen those craftsmans. We go camping every fall. Hey Mr. Dale! Yes we have a Dutch oven we actually use it a lot it's a fun way to cook once you get used to it. Thanks Brother I hope you have a good week to.
I do think that lizard/dragon is a good buy, I do scrap metal art stuff myself, occasionally, the garden is scattered with metal animals and the like. I'd be interested to see that reflective oven up and running.
