I love the sound of Jimmy 2 Strokes from the EMD V16 645 to the 8V/92 truck engines. I guess my favourite 2 stroke is the Class 55 Deltics of the UK that twin Napier Deltic engines that sound amazing.
Nice beginning Jacob. I worked at BHP Port Hedland as a reliabilty engineer with much more modern EMD locos - SD70ACe . I was even allowed to blow the whistle once on a brand new loco undergoing it's acceptance trials !! (yeh - I was an engineer, not a train driver)
up north in Queensland should be a bunch of EMDs to look at. Aurizon 4000, 4100, Most of to all of the 2000s and Pacific National 8300s running EMD 640s i believe in the 2000s and 4000, 4100 and 8300s are 710 i believe.
Love your video, Jacob! I have some photos of the Clyde/GM Streamliners from the Streamliners event at Goulburn in 2022 - if you get your dad to PM me his email address, I’ll send them through to him for you to use!
nice to see these well maintained "older" locos -glad there are still enough enthusiasts able to renovate and keep them going -at 9:40 or 10:35: what loco is leading?
Awesome video. Just something special about the orange and grey livery. And the T class, just superb. Thanks for sharing 👍
