This video was so well done! The other day, I reconsidered some of my words, and I think “Classic, Voluminous, and Playful” work for me. Classic in that pieces are timeless, even vintage, and I’m drawn to mix-n-match basics. Voluminous is essentially oversized but in specific cuts or draping: I like to have volume on top or bottom (big shirt/lil pants vs lil shirt/big pants are go-tos). And Playful because I try to add an element of fun somewhere b/c my classic basics can skew too done-up or mature easily. Thanks for sharing!
I really like your video, your voice is pleasant and your explicit examples of how to make the tweaks inspired by your words is really helpful. I am finding my words useful. I first heard about 3 words on Alyssa's channel and then on Allison's. My words are not the usual ones but are individual to me and invoke strong visuals and feels for me. Graceful, Northern Californian, and English Manor. Graceful taps into the line and feel of clothes that are not rigid, not jarring colors or big bright prints, features longer skirts, blouses and fine fabrics. NC evokes outdoorsy, wild northern beaches, hiking, music and art events. English Manor taps into my historic/equestrienne tastes (I am a lifelong horsewoman) with riding boots, wool jackets and waistcoats, and even slightly sweeping skirts and maybe a cloak (slightly because I'm only 5' tall). I am a 70 year old writer who works from home. I no longer live in NC but on the northern prairie. Fun with words!
Thanks so much! I absolutely love your descriptions of the words you chose. I feel like there’s so much depth there, which I’m sure makes for some wonderful outfits!
I really appreciate these 3 word videos. This is the single biggest hurdle for me. The more videos I watch the more I can see my words. I know one is something like casual, relaxed, or undone. I also know one is something like feminine or romantic. My last word I think is boho. I struggle narrowing it down because I think I overthink it.
I get that! It’s tough narrowing it down. You’ve got a great starting point though! Don’t feel like you have to have it nailed down right away, you can give yourself time to play with it when you get dressed or style some outfits - that’s when I think you’ll start to see when a word feels like it fits and when it doesn’t. And also don’t be afraid to change it if doesn’t feel right! ❤️
Effortless, colorful, timeless😊
This was a great video.
Good video! Also the way you talk is so relaxing 😌
I love your examples, it really helped me visualize this concept 😊

Thank you! I love that pairing of classic yet playful! And also love that one of your words really gives you a silhouette reference 👏
