Funnily enough: there are people that say "no AI" that use AI, who would have thunk it? I don't mean the Video, concretely, it was a video with a short story that was "from human writers" but had so many inconsistencies (an ethereal being with no clear physical form, having black scales for example), that it can't have been anything other than AI.
Me before: I don’t know... It’s too different from what I’m used to with League’s songs... Me now (playing on repeat): THE FACTORY MUST GROW GROW GROW!
Not a LOLer, so presume that's why I've not stumbled upon you before, but my Factorio squad geeked out on this and with good reason! This is awesome! And _adore_ the sampling shorts, so now you must haunt my shorts doomscrolling queue. Awesome work!
Isn't there no real end to the game? Just an ever growing factory for the sake of expansion, no regard to eating up the planet and polluting it. No price too high for the factory. It's sinister and powerful, which the song really captures! Think this is my new favorite song from ya!
Factorio is my most played game on Steam (3.500 hours). It's awesome to see it's getting some attention. This song fits so perfectly to the vibe of the game, I really like the dark and industrial atmosphere. And the video is edited really well! Thank you for uploading this masterpiece.
This song is pretty much the entire game extracted to its base components and it honestly captures everything behind the reason I physically shuddered when the Space Age's trailer started with the words "The factory **has** grown." A beautiful game that honestly requires external input (such as the song) for you to remember that it is a bit of a horror game in disguise. My only complaint with the music video is that the Factorio's icon, the humble gear is not driving any other one throughout the entire length. It is a gear specifically because it carries power in a system and is not a separate whole. -99/10 for that /J.
Thanks for the no AI tag, was looking for factorio songs recently and so much AI slop just everywhere. I wouldnt mind if it was using AI for small tweaks and using as a tool, but its always just the same AI voices and same music style of someone trying to make a quick buck. Great song, really like the thumping baseline.
I only encountered one channel with Factorio AI-generated music on it so far. It does the thing it's doing passably (the musical equivalent of a pre-packaged supermarket sandwich), but I agree this real music is definitely superior. Some real power to those sampled sounds.
Блин, как же долго я ждал музыки которая передаст весь дух факторио - хоть бы и только с некоторых точек зрения (хочется и более оптимистичных куплетов для контраста) - впрочем это вкусовщина, сия музыка безумно хороша.
I have no idea what the game is that inspired this but I’ll play it due to how awesome this song is! Honestly you even got me to play league (three times only but never again… maybe.) Ps. I feel like a Bendy and the ink machine/Dark revival songs would sound sick from you. Pps. Also ever thought of making a Fiddlesticks song in the form of a haunting original lullaby? (Not like a song based on an existing one but your own one.) Ppps. The long comment is mostly to please the ancient algorithm gods! (I do mean what I typed though.)
Honestly, I think that the style of the voice in the chorus and in the verses doesn't mix with the instrumentation a bit. But overall, it's a great song, just the thing for going through seablock.
For this specific song, I assume it's to distinguish it from another song with the same name on TH-cam (that I've heard) by QWave Collapse, that was pretty AI-heavy in its making.
May I remind you. This game is the only hard drug to have gotten DLC. (I have sunk 300 hours into this game and it still calls to me. I’m not even good at the game yet. 1k+ is inevitable at this point. HELP)
The fact that creators need to note down their work ain't AI kinda saddens me, great work though an absolute slap!
We live in a topsy turvy world indeed. Thanks for the comment though! 😄
Needs to, no. Chooses to to avoid headaches, yes.
@@falconshield I appreciate it. (Not that I ever thought AI was used) I stand opposed to starving an artist to feed a machine.
maybe you could have it in the description

You mean spageti must grow so that The Factory can rise 😂
Fantastic subtle use of the City Block layout with the pipes & gears in the foreground over the gameplay shots.
Thank you so much! ♥
ME WHEN THE FACTORY MUST GROW GROW GROW GROW *stomp stomp stomp stomp*

That means a lot, thank you. The lyrics is definitely a Comment on our own relentless pursuit of progress.
You will eventually run out of the only exhaustible resource: CPU cycles to simulate the factory at an acceptable rate.
@hylje why stop there? Upgrade the CPU, once the best CPU can't handle it, run with 2 CPUs, the factory must grow to endless limits
@ You can extend it for a while with new hardware and tricks like Clusterio, but it is fundamentally an exhaustible resource.

See everyone!? It DOES serve a purpose! :D

Legendary quality track
235 was slick and clever, i love it
"do you want to build a factoryyyyyyy?"
When I saw the underground belt sprite I though "Oh, this is OG factorio", but then the space age planets popped up xD
That's a change of style, and not disappointing :D Superb work as always
Actually really well made.
Now someone definitely should do an in-game cover of this song
For REAL, everybody need that
Such a MOOD! Y'all are BADASS with samples and lyrics!
Industrial beats to expand and automate to.
I love the menacing vibe of this song. Also, The Factory Must Grow!
I love that it's the old sprites :P

It's great!

THE FACTORY MUST GROW
Awwww yeah this is my JAM, damn you nailed it with this one!
A broken earth to leave behind! ^^
And your happy ^^
Great song. I already know what I will be listening to as I expand my factory
Absolutly wonderful!
Warmageddon. Reminds me of it.
Underground from tom waits still fits vulcanus perfectly
I can say it's great. Just today you saw it and already consider it alternative
SCP-001 proposal "The Factory"
How fitting
This loops so well

Just like on "Cadia Stands" with Jonathan.. But good! Mention that it isn't AI, loud and proud.
Factorio addiction is dangerous no jk matter anyway 12 more Hour Factorio your going TO MAKE SKY COVER IN ASH...........
BANGER
Can i download this masterpiece somewhere? I want to listen this forever.
Sure thing, either become a patron or get it from bandcamp! Links are in the description!
I love Cracktorio
This is so good we actually need the info that it's not made by ai 🥺
I made a short showing some 😅
@@falconshield aaah ^^'
That distinguishes it from QWave Collapse's track of the same name, that is labelled as AI-using.
@@SimonClarkstone thanks !

This is dope
amazing
A great song for a great game. The factory must grow!
The factory must grow!
ЗАВОД ДОЛЖЕН РАСТИ!
haha nice
We can Heard that it's not AI great job
Nice 👍
NIce song :)

@SimonClarkstone Oh? I didn't know that.
only 600 view?? it should be 6000 at least..
loved the game
Found you
THE FACTORY MUST GROW!
Hmm... Somebody knows this game well. 😉
Never played this one myself, need to ask my brother what the reference to 235 is
Its a reference to Uranium 235. The expensive to set up but well worth it late game source for power and expansion
@thewatcher4616 Ah, thank ye
Enriched uranium, used for nuclear reactor fuel. Best fuel source until (very) late game fusion.
Ok, its time to create another Factory and dedicated 99.99% of my time again...
I serve the Factory.
Really good stuff! Usually I don't like the lyrics in fan songs, but these lyrics are pretty high quality stuff
Thanks alot 🙏

Hmm maybe endless expansion is bad? …Nah

Why in the name of the Machine God do I get some Depeche Mode vibes from this song?
