      In the process of adding a kraken turbo kit and a link Ecu wanna get forged internals first

      Always a good choice to try and bulletproof it if you can

    Will I be fine if I’m running a nb throttle body/ tps sensor spliced into the factory harness ? Or do I need to wire it directly to the ECU ?¿

    • @TheeCrazyblackman

      I would assume you would be fine from the get go, the link is setup for 1.8 but you basically have to flip some things if you’re 1.6, mainly the FANs, but I just did it cause the factory harness wasn’t working for me originally, if I go back now I’m sure I just need to switch some pin outs and would be set but I just chose the easy button 😂

    How are you liking the Link? About to put one in my NB2.

      Best decision I could have made! Easy to understand, and having direct CAN connections is sick! Would recommend

    Can someone explain how the IAT is wired up with a link ? I was on speedyefi before and there’s a harness that plugs into the AFM harness of the car. But link says in the instructions that you need to use that same (green) wire that my IAT sensor is using ?? I can’t run a IAT sensor and a fuel pump control off the same wire ???¿ I’m confused

    • @TheeCrazyblackman

      It’s assuming it’s meaning if you’re coming from another ECU like megasquirt… the location for IAT install is the same, in the video it’s just the green wire on 1.6 for the AFM, 1.8 is different but similar wiring

    • @FREEVERGO8

      @@TheeCrazyblackman I have the IAT wired to the old AFM connector (chassis is a 1990 with a 1994 1.8 motor in it)
      But my question is doesn’t it say to get the fuel pump to work you need to use that small green wire ? Or is there a different other “green wire” that I’m supposed to use for the fuel pump ? it just looked like you were pointing to the AFM connector for that “green wire” in you video.

    • @TheeCrazyblackman

      @FREEVERGO8 yessir the AFM has a green wire I used for the fuel pump, but it says online you should be using pin 1 and pin 6 on the AFM connector

    Did you ever get the rpm gauge working ?

    • @TheeCrazyblackman

      For the stock gauge cluster no, but it was my wiring for the COPS that broke that, it would work intermittently before

      I just got the same tablet ,but when plugging my ecu to usb on tablet theirs no conncetion on pclink from the usb drive. Any way to solve this issue

    • @TheeCrazyblackman

      @lenchan2852 I don’t recall if there is a driver you need or not, make sure the ECU has power then I would definitely do the Normal troubleshooting, test a normal USB stick and see if it picks it up first, if it works, uninstall and reinstall PClink and try again. I don’t recall having any issues but they have tech support as well in the manual I believe
