Great story! Have you ever considered doing videos about how comics would handle real life situations? For example, I saw a post on Reddit the other day that made me think "Who would Frank Castle vote for?" Granted that single question probably boils down to no one based on voting laws, but it made me want to look into times where voting actually impacted events within the Marvel Universe (Civil War, etc.) and how it was handled. I didn't look into that, but I like you well enough to say take that idea if you have the time. Keep up the good work, man!

that's already happened in comics its a fusion between batman and wolverine named dark claw it was a short line of comics in 90's called amalgam where they combined different dc and marvel heroes and villains together like superman and captain america = super soldier iron man and green lantern = iron lantern wonder woman and storm = amazon spiderman and superboy = spider boy flash and ghost rider = speed demon lobo and howard the duck = lobo the duck bruce wayne agent of shield comic drake has a few videos on it, its pretty cool

Naw. Capt America goes to wolvie some times for perspectives and plans . Capt never seems to do wat Logan suggests, it's always a bit dark, but he listens. Wolvie has been around and seen it all. How he tells Jean gray she isn't mentally suited for bloody work. He isn't and won't pretend to be Dr fantastic or Tony Stark. But I don't think they play wolvie as JUST a beast. Some may think of him that way though

The one story I'd recommend is Gorr the God Butcher as a Red Lantern. While Hulk has a lot of rage, it isn't necessarily hate. Imagine what Gorr could do with his hatred and god-level powers!

Rob, red lantern hulk revisited I feel needs to happen. After immortal hulk and venom hulk in absolute carnage, bud a red lantern hulk now is even more potent an idea. Think about this: the transformation process basically triggers banner’s mind scape and he discusses with the hulks which one needs to take the driver’s seat with banner in the passenger seat. He choses world war hulk along with himself as that’s one of the hulks with the greatest control of rage. We get red lantern hulk, aka the return of world war hulk.
I said thin on the Twitter post too. If Superboy Prime was able to slaughter around 30 Lanterns in minutes after he flew through their 300 mile thick construct, they'll get wrecked facing all of the powerhouses and reality warpers in Marvel. On a side note: a crazy What If would be "What If Superboy Prime became a Herald of Galactus. You give him the Power Cosmic on top of his abilities and strength he already has... there's a lot of people in trouble. Lol
But that's kinda missing the point, isn't it? You're basically saying that it would come down to a bar brawl. But for the most part, that's not how the Lantern Corps work. For example, Sinestro plays the long game. Imagine Sinestro rolling up on Marvel Earth and seeing the fear and hate-mongering going on between humans and mutants. What would he do? Play both sides against each other. Slip William Stryker a Yellow Lantern ring, which is based on the ability to instill great fear. So now you have a literal holy war going on. And all the while, the Yellow Lantern gains power.

Now imagine the Lantern Corp going against all of Marvel's brawn plus all of the characters like Reed Richards, Doom, Tony Stark, Xavier and many others who could figure out what they're doing. There's several characters with precognition and others with all out omniscience and they'd definitely figure out or know what's going on. Then you have the reality warpers who could simply erase them. The Lantern Corp would be eradicated so fast if they were facing the full might of all of Marvel's abilities and characters.
I forgot about adding S.H.I.E.L.D. to the mix. They are all over the planet and would be gaining intelligence on what the Lanterns are up to. My entire reason for giving Superboy Prime as an example is if they couldn't handle him, just imagine going against the actual smart ones in Marvel. Once they've figured out what's happening it's game over!

All it needs is an inciting incident, and with Sinestro being as 'chess master' as he is, I could 100% see him taking advantage of it.

The willpower of lanterns like Hal would overcome Xavior's mind control. I’ve said this many times Rob but marvel should really employ you. If not a writer, a consultant for the comics in general and probably the MCU too. Honestly I think Wolverines biggest challenge would be those who can effect energy or matter, since the red ring itself is made out of condensed red energy (ie rage energy), and possibly someone who’s fats enough to catch him off guard and take his ring off.
I just thought of something interesting... if the red lanterns take away your blood and replace it... wouldnt that just dehulkify Banner? Since the Gamma radiation is in his blood, then taking it away fast enough should take away the hulk (idk its just a thought)
Marvel really need to resurect the what if stories, I think what would make What If stories more interesting in my opinion is to see worlds where lots of things have played out differently even small details, for example character costumes, powers etc being different as well as events, like what if Secret Empire never ended, but with different looking characters rather that the same versions of the Marvel Prime or (616 universe)

These were all cool ideas, but I was hoping it'd be more like what if the leaders of the different Corps ended up in Marvel and had to rebuild the Corps with Marvel characters. I would just like to point out that if Mutants as a whole got rings the Yellow Rings would be more fitting considering everything bad that has happened to them is because regular humans fear them. I would see that story going down more like they enslave humans through fear before the former X-Men realize what they have done and take off their rings to fight against the mutants who still use the rings.
Stories I want rob to make. Nova Corp vs Green Lantern Corp. What if Wonder Woman had a baby with captain America What if wonder woman had a baby with Vegeta of DBS . What if captain America lead the JSA? What if Namor fought aquaman in a full civil war? What if squirrel girl had a baby with batman? Do you get a flying squirrel and do the call it Rocky? What if an army of Valkyrie fought an army of Amazons? What if civil war was captain America vs superman? What if DC had an illuminati?
I've got some ideas also: What if Batman became the Ghost Rider? What if Spider-man became a blue lantern? What if Apocalypse discovered the Lazarus pit? What if Batman created a school for metahumans? What if Superman had landed in the Marvel universe? What if Amazo encountered Thanos? What if Static had Thor's hammer? Wolverine would become Scourge. That would be pretty cool. Logan could totally pull off, blaming the constructs on other characters that have those abilities. Songbird, Klaw. You take out Thor by giving more Red Lantern Rings to the Trolls of where ever they come from. Thor is just too busy to worry about Wolvy. But why, if he has control of himself, would he even kill anyone?
With the power Franklin already possess I don't think a red lantern ring would inhance him in any real worth while way. He can already manipulate reality what good is flight, constructs, or plasma blood an no heart to him.
WHAT IF...wally west vs marvel universe. I enjoyed his interaction with mutants during the DC VS MArvel crossover from the 90s where he lost his speed because essentially there was no speed force in the MU. So wally gets zapped back to the DCU since he couldn’t keep the frequency of his body in tune with the MU.
Storm and Cable killed Savage Hulk alone. A rage fueled Hulk of course would be harder to kill but the Method they used should still work... and they can take the ring off when he’s incapacitated problem solved. I swear Marvel writers forget there own work sometimes.

I said thin on the Twitter post too. If Superboy Prime was able to slaughter around 30 Lanterns in minutes after he flew through their 300 mile thick construct, they'll get wrecked facing all of the powerhouses and reality warpers in Marvel.
On a side note: a crazy What If would be "What If Superboy Prime became a Herald of Galactus. You give him the Power Cosmic on top of his abilities and strength he already has... there's a lot of people in trouble. Lol

But for the most part, that's not how the Lantern Corps work. For example, Sinestro plays the long game. Imagine Sinestro rolling up on Marvel Earth and seeing the fear and hate-mongering going on between humans and mutants. What would he do? Play both sides against each other. Slip William Stryker a Yellow Lantern ring, which is based on the ability to instill great fear. So now you have a literal holy war going on. And all the while, the Yellow Lantern gains power.

Now imagine the Lantern Corp going against all of Marvel's brawn plus all of the characters like Reed Richards, Doom, Tony Stark, Xavier and many others who could figure out what they're doing. There's several characters with precognition and others with all out omniscience and they'd definitely figure out or know what's going on. Then you have the reality warpers who could simply erase them. The Lantern Corp would be eradicated so fast if they were facing the full might of all of Marvel's abilities and characters.
I forgot about adding S.H.I.E.L.D. to the mix. They are all over the planet and would be gaining intelligence on what the Lanterns are up to. My entire reason for giving Superboy Prime as an example is if they couldn't handle him, just imagine going against the actual smart ones in Marvel. Once they've figured out what's happening it's game over!

Bear in mind, using my previous example, Shield hasn't exactly had the best track records when it comes to human/mutant relations, and especially in recent issues with the entirety of the mutant population on Genosha and basically telling the world "We're your superior, get used to it," that keg is ready to blow. All it needs is an inciting incident, and with Sinestro being as 'chess master' as he is, I could 100% see him taking advantage of it.
@@89ludeawakening1 Reed Richards is intelligent, but he isn't strategic. Doom is a terrible pocket pick because you know it's just a matter of time before he betrays everyone for his own ends. The willpower of lanterns like Hal would overcome Xavior's mind control.
Kyle Raynor as the white lantern is way beyond Omega Level and is a reality warper himself, and the orange lantern is a one man planet killer into himself.

I’ve said this many times Rob but marvel should really employ you. If not a writer, a consultant for the comics in general and probably the MCU too. Can you imagine if DC and Marvel done a ‘hulk gets a red lantern ring’ crossover? Superman trying and failing to put him down? Batman and Stark teaming up and failing to tech the problem away, just for some rando mutant to come up and be like ‘hulk smash? Honestly I think Wolverines biggest challenge would be those who can effect energy or matter, since the red ring itself is made out of condensed red energy (ie rage energy), and possibly someone who’s fats enough to catch him off guard and take his ring off.

I just thought of something interesting... if the red lanterns take away your blood and replace it... wouldnt that just dehulkify Banner? Since the Gamma radiation is in his blood, then taking it away fast enough should take away the hulk (idk its just a thought)
Marvel really need to resurect the what if stories, I think what would make What If stories more interesting in my opinion is to see worlds where lots of things have played out differently even small details, for example character costumes, powers etc being different as well as events, like what if Secret Empire never ended, but with different looking characters rather that the same versions of the Marvel Prime or (616 universe)
Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Skiver made the latern corps. Atrocitus is EVS's creation and so is the Red Lanterns.

These were all cool ideas, but I was hoping it'd be more like what if the leaders of the different Corps ended up in Marvel and had to rebuild the Corps with Marvel characters. I would just like to point out that if Mutants as a whole got rings the Yellow Rings would be more fitting considering everything bad that has happened to them is because regular humans fear them. I would see that story going down more like they enslave humans through fear before the former X-Men realize what they have done and take off their rings to fight against the mutants who still use the rings.

I was listening to this at work and wondering, Rob didn't have 1 million subscribers and he is going to Disneyland at a time like this? Didn't realize it was a compilation when I started playing this.
Wolverine would become Scourge. That would be pretty cool. Logan could totally pull off, blaming the constructs on other characters that have those abilities. Songbird, Klaw. You take out Thor by giving more Red Lantern Rings to the Trolls of where ever they come from. Thor is just too busy to worry about Wolvy. But why, if he has control of himself, would he even kill anyone?

With the power Franklin already possess I don't think a red lantern ring would inhance him in any real worth while way. He can already manipulate reality what good is flight, constructs, or plasma blood an no heart to him.

WHAT IF...wally west vs marvel universe. I enjoyed his interaction with mutants during the DC VS MArvel crossover from the 90s where he lost his speed because essentially there was no speed force in the MU. So wally gets zapped back to the DCU since he couldn’t keep the frequency of his body in tune with the MU.
Storm and Cable killed Savage Hulk alone. A rage fueled Hulk of course would be harder to kill but the Method they used should still work... and they can take the ring off when he’s incapacitated problem solved. I swear Marvel writers forget there own work sometimes.
It’s a rage ring. If you try to attempt to take the ring off you will die.
