It tastes so good from one of those. And that thing would make the nicest little trash can for a bathroom or small kitchen.....that is what I would have bought and sold that as.
Thanks for watching! More from that trip coming in a video later. There is a lot of cool stuff there to buy man I left....lots....some of the best milks I have seen anywhere
man dude...that is awesome. I have seen these for sale before with lids...but every one of them was one of those fake ones.....i am sure you have seen them. I was beginning to think they were all fake. You should call and buy that one....that guy behind the counter will ship anything. Some of those 4.99 bottles were sick too. The condition is the best I have seen. Anywhere. Even online
“He’s got more money than Carter has peanuts “. I still hear this today in the south. Love the patches and they look great in the case. You’ve got a great eye Rocks🙂
Those Tonka toys are very cool...I remember them well from my childhood. That store always has a ton of good stuff! Those old scout patches look great in your frame!
That midget Mason is cool. I enjoy your picking videos, Rocks. My two younger brothers and my kids had Tonka toys, they last forever. They're still here in the shed somewhere.❤️
Thanks for sharing!! I have more of these videos coming...i am working on more now. I am going to just start hammering it now....go for 2-3-4 videos some days.
hahaha....no doubt. They even made little tiny ones.....those are funny. We would be a whole lot better off if old jimmy was president now. He is a good man
@@rockscousteau Yes, his re-election was deliberately sabotaged---politics is a whole coyote trap of misdirection. But, I'll just smile and remember the Good Stuff.
@@rockscousteau Awesome..I just finished editing and started upload on my next video..bedtime now..went back to work this week after being laid off, since Thanksgiving...Probably watch your video on lunchbreak tomorrow.. Later ✌ 🍀
Yea....that was a good piece "I think" I would have to look at the stamps more and do some research. But I am 99.6 that that is old....and it is super. Id say that is worth a good deal of money
@@rockscousteau I see them on Ebay every now and again. They always draw a crowd and get big bids. They all get pulled before the end of the auction. I think the ones with the spikes are the ones they don’t like. Illegal to use you know.
Nice eye on the Sandy Koufax figurine. Anybody could identify that as a cool baseball item but it takes knowledge to quickly identify who it is. Id recognize those bushy eyebrows anywhere! PS he's still alive!
well it is up for debate on if it is modeled on Koufax for sure. But I would say it was. The Japanese copied a lot of stuff they exported...like the bisque dolls....they copied a lot of those from Germany when germany stopped making dolls because of WW2. This is about the same thing. I bet if you look at the baseball players this company in Japan produced during this time...all of them probably resemble an All Star Player. I bet there is one that looks like Mickey Mantle.
Yea....me too. But now....If they have lots of other stuff for me to film and the video is decent. I can buy stuff now and get like 80% off or it for free having the video making money. So this is going to get OUT OF CONTROL. Those marbles I bought....in 2 weeks the frames and marbles will be paid for from the video revenue. That is just unbelieveable to me. I can do hundreds of videos now and just keep the items and show in videos. This is going to work out. I can buy all the real nice bottle advertising pieces to show in videos when I dig the bottles. it will be great
There must be other diggers in your area and they are selling their finds. With all the stuff that you find you should have a booth in that shop and fill it up with stuff that you find and that'll be another money source coming in. After all, you advertise the place. If I didn't live so far away I would be hitting that store. There are a lot of nice things there. There are antique shops here in NJ but they are expensive. And there's nothing good in the Thrift shops. There are some different items out your way. Btw, I had that exact white Tonka tow truck that I got fir Christmas back in the early 70s. I had a black Tonka Volkswagen car too.
Rocks In antique stores and other similar stores what kind of things would you recommend buying that sell the best. Im about to try some new antique shops in my area and I know the bottle market is getting cheaper to buy at places such as this and there might be a few good marble deals, but what are other things In you’re experience that usually sell pretty good and fast at the same time, just interested to know the kind of things In you’re own experience that sells the best.
yea. Id have to look that up and make sure it was all there....but i would say in all honesty...that was the best item in the store. In looked pre 1920 to me. And probably older than that. You can just tell eye balling iron items...this looked good.
The; leader was across from the post office next to wendelkens store, they had the bottomless cup of coffee, for a nickel... I have wooden nickels from there for cups of coffee
Yea I figured. I have seen these before a lot. But all the ones I have seen up to this point in person were modern reproductions. With new lids. This is the first one I have seen and been able to hold I thought was actually real. This one looked good to me. I would kind of like to have one of these that is just flawless...with a lid. I may try and buy a few to put back to show in videos. I need to find one in a retail setting though so I can film it...and make the money back for it in a video.
Does anyone know what the spoke shave looking tool is in the case at the 1:50 mark? It has a black body and is on the shelf below the turkey that Rocks looked at.
Yea....I dont know either man...or I would have elaborated on it...I can ask Billy the guy in the store when i go back in. I am going to buy a few things in there this week
That's a Lot Lizard Trap Rocks be sure you wash up good after touching it lol it probably still has smell of Diesel fuel lol.... Looney tunes 1,2,3strikes your OUT!

I collect old jars, loved the old wax seal jar.
I have the midget jar...dug it in Nellie. I put a lip chip in it.....I can not find a lid...new Jersey glass works ...late 1880s .... Heck of a jar✌️😎

The lid for the CFJ midget is worth more than the jar and they are hard to come by
