What a great all-round video to watch, thanks for sharing! I got a few answers and knowledge along with more questions!!!! I have marbles that I am losing my marbles over, I thought was one type and now watching this video I think some can be called a few other types..... very interesting on the rip off flea market marbles, thanks
Oh my gosh, MARBLES! I was born in '56, F & LOVED to play marbles. I even had the callous on my shooting knuckle. LOL Ty for this great childhood memory!
How funny what you said about what got you started collecting. I did the same thing, exactly. I was at my local flea market and some guy had five big Costco nut containers full of vintage marbles for sale. He took $20 a piece for each container. I used to play with marbles when I was a child in the mid '50's and bought them at the local village store for a quarter a bag. Maybe less. I would stop on the way home from school and buy a bag or 2. Looking back on that, I'm sure they were probably mostly Marble King marbles. Anyway, I bought those flea market marbles thinking that would get me started on a side hustle. When I started splitting them up into small bags and jars for resale, I realized I had fallen in love and could never even give up one. So now 6 years later I have jars and jars of marbles. I don't know much about them but I love watching shows like yours. This helps me so much in identifying what I have. Thanks! We need more TH-camrs showing their marbles. Great job!
Nice collection man. Thanks for sharing an the info is priceless. Marble identification is an interesting hobby to get into. I've been collecting now for 3 years and have a pretty wide collection an learning new marble styles and history everyday. Thanks for sharing. 👍✌️🇺🇲
Still treasure, these have all been purchased that I have, so I have some that are really nice, I have some that are beat up from being played with, I like em all
...and isn't it interesting that the initial couple of marbles that got us started in collecting make it to our special showcase! My main hunt are the chocolate oxblood Akro Agates. Thanks, fun clip.
Oh man, what happened to the ending? Your keeper box is beautiful, and those marbles are incredible. The Superman is a work of art, and the flame is amazing!!!!!!! Thank you, Chris 💖
I appreciate you watching my friend, I can't take credit for these though, these are vintage machine made game marbles, but I love collecting and enjoying them!
@@MoarRushPl0x I'm so glad you enjoyed it, I'm going to try and implement more of my antique marbles and the marbles I make into my channel! Thx again!
Thanks for sharing your collection and explaining what you have. Can you recommend one or more safe sellers for marbles? I've tried for years to purchase from Ebay but haven't gotten any good ones yet, just out of rounds and not what they claimed or showed. Have you made a video tipping people off where to buy and who to avoid?
Thx for watching, I would start on a Facebook group named "Everything About Vintage and Antique Marbles, there's one to discuss and the other is an auction page, lots of good people and information there
I wouldn't really know who to recommend, there's antique and vintage Facebook groups that have lots of information, but really, just doing the homework and learning to identify the old ones really helps!, thanks for watching!
I’ve just started getting into marbles, and enjoying the hunt. Most of what I’ve discovered are generally nothing special quite common ie standard cats eye. But just recently I came across something different it is caramel in colour with white swirls throughout the inside and outside. It has a very small hole…is this a pin point Pontil? Any advice is greatly appreciated….many thanks from New Zealand 😊
@@show-metreasure3438 I'm pretty much 100% a collector also. However I do trade when people want to wheel and deal. I have a 20 plus year old collection of German handmaids and just started chasing machine mades a year ago. Good luck hunting and I hope you keep sharing your findings on the tube🍻
All marbles are beautiful . Your coffin stash is loaded with goodness !
Thank you!
seeing this is making my eyes tear i see during the pre-internet era, you battled a lot in marbles, and even more importantly, you held on to yours.

Some beautiful marbles Chris!!! My favorite marble that I've found detecting looks like it has a piece of bacon on it.
